That listing for Preacher says all of my targets are either out of stock or unavailable.  But I had a hunch it was wrong.  So I went in to my closest store and they had three copies on the shelves.  Targets online inventory, or separate listings, are never accurate.

I'm starting to think that the only copy that they carry in store with that DPCI is the steelbook, because it's been accurate when I called stores.

I'll try to use my redcard, I've been having problems with it lately. But when I go I'll let you know. It would just be the price plus shipping. I have the supplies already. I ship steels in a box inside a bubble mailer so they don't get damaged. Shipping usually is like $2.69, or some weird/odd number. I'll let you know.

My store had at least 2-3 copies of the Amaray version on the shelf next to the steelbook, though if my store inventory was correct, it had to be a different DPCI # for the Amaray version unless someone bought all of the steelbook copies in advance of when I checked inventory.

 
Gah, went to two targets. 6 copies total at both, but every single copy had a slash on the spine. Ugh!! Bought two regardless, debating if I'm going to return mine. Need to message blue to see if he doesn't care. Or he can read this.

Perhaps, lol. I've used one and given one away. I bought 2 steels so best buy wouldn't ship it in a bubble mailer... Sometimes they do, but this time it was in a box. Kind of tempted to open the other one to see if there are multiple UV codes there as well, haha!

 
For those that don't know the Steelbook of Kingsglaive is the only way to get the Brotherhood anime on disk outside of the $300 whatever UCE of FF XV. The standard retail movie release does not have Brotherhood.
 
I ordered the Home Alone steel on Sunday and it was expected to be delivered on the 11th but it arrived yesterday to my surprise. Such a great looking steel!
 
Well my Kingsglaive only had 1 code, but it did have a nice dent at the top hidden b/c of the packaging. Now I have to find a BB that still has it in stock for an exchange; the 3 I live/work by in STL are all sold out.

Usually if you speak to a manager they can override the return if they are sold out. Depends how nice the managers are. I bought a movie that was loose in the box, last copy, and opened it, was scratched to crap and wouldn't play. They refunded me because they nor anyone else had a copy. I have an extra clean copy, or bestbuy.com still has them in stock.

So it looks like the Best Buy exclusive for Game of Thrones Season 6 is a steelbook?  Really wish they would have continued with the exclusive Sigil covers as that's what I have been collecting all along.  Now I may need to track down all the steelbooks for the older sets....ugh.

S1 & S2 I picked up from Target since they had a combo deal for buying both at the same time, as well as with a Funco POP, I think. S3 and S4 I picked up from Amazon.

Never made it cheaper than $34.99 from what I remember, for any of the releases.

I have S5 and S6 pre-order as part of the "Buy $50+, get a $10 GC" promo from a few months ago, as these were part of the deal. I have to sell my S3, S4 and S5 sigil sets.

I didnt realize S6 for Game of Thrones is out next month...usually it's after the holidays.  Guess I better decide what do about the lack of sigil...

I have that Spaceballs one. It's not a typical MetalPak. It has a proper spine like a Steelbook. Reminds me of the old Disney cases at BB (Iron Boxes?)
 
Somehow, I managed to brain fart on ordering the Ghostbusters 4K SB, though I was sure I had ordered it.   Since of course I didn't realize this until after Tarzan went up by $10 for the B1 G1 50% off, I ordered it with the Jason Bourne SB and did an in-store pickup at a BB by my work and canceled my separate order for JB.   It's supposedly ready for pickup though I can't get it until Thursday at the earliest. 

 
How exactly do you make everything about a home video cover off model? Bugs, Elmer, Tweety, the two Monstars, Michael, even the logo are not done correctly. Not to mention that the whole thing just looks so slipshod. Like somebody who just learned Photoshop and threw something together in 5 minutes.

Why not use a modified version of the classic teaser poster?

Went to Mall of America Best Buy today and picked up The Martian, The Revenant, Fight Club, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, and Young Frankenstein.

The X-Men steelbooks just don't look very nice.  The only decent looking one is Days of Future Past.  Might pick these up at < $10 each down the line, but there has to be some better looking X-men steels produced at some point. 

Deadpool and Edward Scissorhands both fall flat.  They have dull, matte finishes that don't look good compared to their glossy metallic first run printings which are much nicer.   Kingsman and Spectre don't look very good either.  I wanted to get Kingsman too.  But frankly most of this steelbook wave is very dull, even the ones I bought. 

The Martian and The Revenant are the only movies from this 10/2 Best Buy Fox steelbook wave that really stand out as nice additions to a discerning steelbook collection.

I'm only collecting 4K Steelbooks - Is there a thread that I can follow? I like blu-ray.com but they don't break it down to just 4K steelbook.

 
Josef, I re-ordered the War Dogs SB from Target with the $5 GC on the 12th, though received an email this morning about the $5 GC being canceled.  I dug through my spam filter and found an email from Target on the 13th that the GC would be delayed until the 15th and I would need to approve the delay.  Had I seen the email about it, I would have approved it, though as I didn't, it canceled out.

Like Finding Dory (x2), it discounted the order by the GC value, so I'm getting a copy for $16.84 after RedCard discount. 

This was the same thing as before with my Finding Dory pre-orders, though again, found the email from Target.com about the GC delay in my spam foldder. That order was on 09/21, delay email was on 09/22, cancelation email on 09/24 about the two GCs.

Weird, all my gift cards are still live in my preorders for Finding Dory and War Dogs. Either case sounds ok though as the movie gets discounted either way.

Wish I could explain it. Probably something Target.com doesn't like about me and decided I don't get any GCs. Which I'm fine with, if they keep discounting my items by the GC amount.

The game is actually supposed to be much better now (closer to a 7/10 or 8/10 experience vs. 5/10 or lower at launch) thanks to a recent patch, so I might pick this up both for the steelbook and to someday play the game. Thanks.
