The new thread format will be a work in progress but this first post will be the promos that are active and useful information, but also wikified. The second post will currently be frequently asked questions but may move it into the first post. Post three will be historical trade-in values from before the list.

Tried to unload some BotW copies the other day and got hit with the dreaded trade ban for exceeding the $2000 limit. I guess I didn't keep track of my trade amounts as well as I thought.

Convinced the gf to create a membership, so I'm back in business! Already did a couple trades. Lol. Can't wait to use that B2G1 coupon at the end of the month.

Haha dang, ima test my trade ins in June to pass the 30 dayz and find out if im still in the game.
Speaking of trade ban is there any other way to know if your banned other then trading something in?

How do you know it was the $2000 limit that got you? Do you go back and add everything up? Perhaps you got on the radar somehow.

 
The employee actually said he couldn't accept my trade-ins "because you exceeded the trade limit." He didn't say a specific amount or anything but I already knew I was really close to $2k.
 
Does anyone know where I go to find my old PC downloads through GameStop's old PC download system? I still had the app on my PC but it won't show all of my purchases. Thanks in advance.

 
I always catch these deals after they are over. Flipping for $2000 sounds insane.

My best flip was BBY giving $300 for the 4gb arcade xbox a few years ago.

Nah, unless they r nice enough to do it themselves. Like i got a digital copy of little nightmares because they didn't have no more physical copies so the employee added the bonus manually. She actually put 65% though lol. She was like I know I did something wrong but ahh w.e. haha

Yeah I'll try, my store is pretty cool and if I let them know straight up that I really want the games digital I think they would do it for me. Like come on, who the f wants guardians of the Galaxy or two games, most being months old at $60 msrp a piece. My fault for not realizing botw's trade value, really thought everyone was talking about the Wii u version

I like our Nintendo games being physical, we have a great collection building and I have my 3 switch games physical. I really hate swapping out our games though, each game are ones that I wouldn't want to trade anyways.

Yeah it does suck swapping but it's worth having physical. I had bought bomberman R for 32 when it released and I basically traded that in for the mario kart 8 given that the trade with bonus and 5$ card was 52 lol

Bomberman was the only game I owned on the Switch so far that I'm glad I got physical. However Mario kart and puyo Puyo is a big hit with my wife and kid, really didn't think I would finally get my wife into gaming. Then I have Zelda. I admit I think owning each one physical is better, especially Nintendo games but the pain of swapping the games is my only problem.

Yeah ha that's was up. That's pretty much what I got mario, puyo, and zelda. I didn't want to return them cause they'll catch on to me, So I kept them which those 2 arent bad games.
 
Strange...I did a return last week (Stardew Valley) and also picked up a $25 Chipotle card (for daughter), two $10 Gamestop giftcards (tournament rewards for after school gaming club), and Nintendoland for the Wii-U ($3 or so).  I paid for the difference with my debit card and the total was $22.70.  

I just checked my Gamestop balance and it went up from $208.xx to $238.xx.  It appears the $30 from Stardew went onto my PUR account AND paid towards my purchase.  

I dumped the receipt without really checking it (slaps head twice) earlier then normal so I can't check, but even if somehow the giftcards didn't activate the only math that adds up appears to be this illogical double credit.  Oh shoot......it might be the Chipotle card.  

Yeah....this post is random thoughts now but it's too late....I'm clicking POST.

 
Anyone renew Saturday and still await coupons?

Reason I ask I haven't received any. I've also yet to receive my Horizon Zero Dawn coupon.

So.  If something isn't available online, does anyone know if an actual store can order me one from a warehouse somewhere?  Trying to get me a Forza Horizon 3 Ultimate.

You guys better get :360: Alan Wake at $14.99 used while you still can. I feel GS is going to apply another tax to it soon since as of tomorrow you cannot buy it digitally anymore.

Not specified in the coupon details or title. Most likely only for new; you can try putting a cucumber or large squash in your pants and then plead your case if the system doesn't automatically take the $20 off a used copy.

I'm thinking I may try to do the $20 off used since it isn't specified. The people at the Gamestop here are pretty cool, hopefully it all works out.

A quick update to what I posted yesterday (or the day before).

I renewed my PUR Tuesday of last week, and am now up to FOUR B2G1 coupons.  To confirm...all have different unique codes as well.  (I did get the $20 off Zero Dawn as well.)  First one dropped in late afternoon Thursday I believe.  Since then, I received one some time shortly after midnight Saturday, Sunday, and again today.  Not sure what might be going on...although I am certainly not complaining.  I intended on saving all three for the next stealth-bump-athon, although I might try to use one of them today as a local store is flooded with Zelda for both systems, and has a fairly high number of other key titles as well. 

If you renewed mid last week, keep checking everyone!

Crazy how much flipping can really do for you...Gamestop just paid for my vacation in Cali! With the southwest gift cards and the fact that you can get airbnb cards on amazon....fucking awesome.

I feel like you and others who renewed last week are getting the coupons that everyone else should've gotten this weekend.
 
Just got off the phone with CS about missing offers and accomplished a whole lot of nothing in 12 minutes. They gave me 5000 points, though, so there's that.

Handing out $1000 in credit is easy. Parting with a few hundred from the register entirely changes their perception of the trade.

all of those haven't been released yet except for guardians, does that mean it'll be considered a pre-order trade bonus?

and couldn't find the answer to this, but for the trade bonus games, can you purchase towards a pre-owned copy?
