Unfortunate but true. I gave the game a few hours and just lost interest. It's a pretty awesome game, but it just winds up feeling aimless, repetitive, and annoying most of the time. Missions force you to complete them multiple times to achieve all the special objectives, they drone on and mostly consist of just trying to stay hidden, avoiding combat, spamming your stun gun and silencers and constant air drops since they run out of ammo nonstop, and often widely spaced checkpoints that make it really annoying when you fuck up.

I can't even say it's a bad game... It has loads of interesting concepts and it has a mind-blowing amount of content, but it's just not that fun. Others would disagree I'm sure, but it'll be awhile before I give it another try.

While this review may be for the new 560 specifically, it compares similar cards in its price range.

 
New Twin Peaks.  Weird as ever.  Maybe weirder.  I remember nothing about the original and was confused and concerned for my sanity the entire time I was watching.  10/10 would be horribly confused again.  #MTFUA

Yeah, I watched that tonight too. It was a pretty wild ride. There hasn't been anything new from Lynch in about a decade so this was a real treat. Need to go back and watch the entire series starting tonight; I screwed up by not being ready for the new show.

I just binge-watched the earlier seasons last week so those memories are still fresh in my mind, and yeah, tonight was definitely weirder. Lynch cranked the insanity and intensity up a notch. It was fantastic.

I'm guessing this "new twin peaks" is the new hotness on console? Cause that's the only kind of off topic talk they allowed in this cause everytime I mention wrestling... lol

(Glad, you're all enjoying it. Never watched the orginal but always heard it was weird, mostly in good ways.)

Had to go to work so I only caught the first hour or so of it... Through 4 matches now the tag championship match was the highlight so you didn't miss much... (At least so far. I'll update after I finish it.)

Edit: You missed allot. I would watch if I was you. (You can easily skip the 6 women tag... wish I had.)

I got the 29" LG (29UM68-P). It's great! I thought it might feel like a step down from my Dell G-sync monitor, but I think I prefer the UltraWide. I might just sell the Dell and start saving for another UW. Weiler's mom was right when she said that once you go ultra wide you never go back.

Edit: I also work from home on Mondays and all that extra space really helps with "productivity."

I think the last part I watched was the Breezango match and that shit was hilarious when he was rolling away from whichever one kept climbing the turnbuckle. I haven't enjoyed a tag match like that in a very long time.

I know what happened in all of the matches so the results won't be a surprise but I may watch anyways. I heard the last match was pretty decent and Jinder cracks me up.

Seeing more sub-400 deals lately on the 1080s. Might have to upgrade soonish.

In other news, Far Cry 5 teaser is up. Set in Montana, which makes me absolutely giddy.

In other other news, local telco dude stopped in today to map out where they can lay fiber to my home! Still can't believe it, I'll soon be joining the 20th century, assuming they don't get eaten by the bears.

Well I caved and just got the standard version of BF1. Funny, Origin tells you the price with tax (which is BS, since I'm in Oregon and there shouldn't be any tax), but then when I got to the final payment page on PayPal there's no tax and it wound up being $29.99 after all.
