whatever you do, DO NOT IMAGE SEARCH FISH CLEAVAGE!!!
I'm not even sure why one would do that...
Played some of the Gears of War 4 PC Trial last night.
They need to bring the rest of the franchise (Gears 2, 3, and Judgment) here to PC.
I really need to do more with my copy of the game... Its actually rather embarrassing how little I've done with it cause lets face fact... Windows 10 +1 isn't even a thing. (or if it is its like "Fish Cleavage" and it shouldn't be a thing.)
Reviews aren't all that great but it looks like it could be a good bro night game.
More Razer Wildcat talk... Spent more time with it this week and I got to say its impressing me allot... Some notes:
It's not in anyway shape or form wireless. This isn't a huge issue for most I imagine, and really isn't for me, but I have a really, really, smart cat and she knows that cord leads to the distraction that's keep her from getting petted. (She's even been known to bat at a smart phone too.)
The trigger locks work but with results that differ on the game. In the Division the left trigger lock keeps you from aiming down the sights while the right trigger does what you suspect it would. It lets you get off (and back on) the triggers quicker. Someone who normally burst fires their weapons would likely find it sort of pointless. In Forza Horizon those locks keep you from breaking fully... Or getting full power from the engine. Neither seems to be that useful. (But the right game might find it to be extremely useful.
Extra buttons, I've not tried to program any,.. I suspect what I would want it to do in like The Division is going to be too complicated for it... And its limited to remapping the controller buttons/functions. aka you cannot tell it to ESC, space bar, or another keyboard key.
Stick covers. I decided that I was slipping a bit and put them on... I wish they provided a bit more grip as the difference with and without seems to be nearly nil to me.
Honestly, all in all its been a wonderful controller. Maybe the best 3rd party controller I've ever used on any console platform but even at $59.99 I question its true value. A new official XBone wireless controller is like $59.99 MSRP and I just don't think this beats it. I will be keeping it, and using it, and if I find something truly interesting about it I'll keep you all posted about it.
(Don't get me wrong I am happy to have it considering that wireless/blue tooth issue I had with Windows 10 is fresh in my mind.)
