As for the 2k17 roster... It's actually pretty solid on regards to the main roster and like you said there are more than enough rabid fans to make those missing... and even those just hoped for like megastars like Kenny Omega or less known talents like Brian Cage.
don't worry all those CAW's will be made... in Fire Pro!!!

Wow, 2 pages of #fakey posts?  Show some control people.  You wont even see the complete game for another year beyond release in the dlc culture.  Its hard to get hyped for anything.

The only thing that even piqued my interest was Battlefront 2 as they claim no season pass.  But it is EA,  so im expecting the other shoe to fall soon.

Gotta love how its entire library is more or less ports of old games. I'd bet money on the Switch flopping harder than the Wii U.
I'll take that bet.

That xcom 2 expansion looks pretty good, I need to get around to playing the base game. Loved the last game and EW.

I mean, it could go either way. Last I looked the sales were on par with the Wii and Wii U, which also had very good starts. Difference being the Wii U obviously flopped in the long run and the Wii was bought en masse by old folks homes to play Wii Sports on.

The laundry list of issues with the Switch and the fact that third parties really don't seem all that interested in making games for it (besides porting old shit), combined with the fact that to this point it has literally sold BECAUSE of Breath of the Wild (which I will say is an outstanding game) and in small part to coming games like Splatoon 2, I'm just not very optimistic about it in the long run. Once again Nintendo has made a weak system and is skating by on their great franchises. It unfortunately looks a lot like the Wii U launch, plus all the technical issues out of the box.

I actually am a big fan of Nintendo, so if anything it's just a little disappointing.

Nintendo Switches are selling incredibly well.
Oh I know, but so was the Wii U and we all know how that turned out. Launch is one thing, the years that follow are another and that's what makes or breaks a console.

I see where you are coming from but I don't share your outlook. I think the fact that the Switch is portable is going to give it a long lifespan. Obviously this is anecdotal but I take my Switch with me everywhere, especially dinner with my family and more specifically, my 6 year old. It has been so useful that I would instantly go out and rebuy it if something were to happen to it.

Awesome! Scheduling this for June 29th and it's also scheduled for this Saturday for those who want to get in on the free week!
According to the PC Gameshow E3 thing, the Summer event will run for a month, introduce two new guns, something like 50 cosmetics, and have some carnival style mini-games. Also going to be modifier events, devguy mentioned stuff like headshots only, zed/player size decreases when taking damage leading to a bunch of tiny zeds running around. Should be fun

So I see the prorders up on steam for Bethesda's vr push and am extremely disappointed.
Correct me if I'm wrong
Fallout 4 vr is a standalone game not free or even reduced cost for fo4 owners...
It's just the core game no dlc... For $59.99 that's laughable

Doom vfr isn't just doom vr? (I own doom but haven't played yet so not sure about this)
Priced a little better in comparison to fallout vr but seriously some kind of price cut for doom owners should be there unless this is a totally new game.

https://www.humblebundle.com/store/overcooked

Overcooked is 50% off at Humble.  I think I saw someone asking about this a while ago.  Looks like a really fun game (saw some Youtubers play it) but it only has local MP right now and I have no real friends.  Devs said they are considering adding online, but who knows.  So we either wait or one of my fake friends with an NVidia card can buy it and try to host it with that Nvidia play feature thing (LOOKING AT YOU REDS)

Switch stuff...
Hoping the Nintendo thing tomorrow will announce some new games, and if stores actually get some stock in and Mario releases around November I imagine the switch will make a killing this Christmas to cap off an exceptional first year.

It would be nice if they would release a new version or something with a more durable screen. If they do some sort of package deal this black Friday I might pick one up even though I haven't been playing my new'ish refurb wiiu much.

Fallout, naturally. The first Homefront was in Colorado, if I recall. Bioshock Infinite (though they technically seceded from the US, c'mon...)

Anyway, Alt-History America is interesting enough to me that it hasn't lost its allure yet. Shootin' Nazis or North Koreans in the suburbs is still a novel experience for me.
Some Alt-History America strategy games would be interesting though. Sure there are more then I can think of, but the only one that comes to my mind is World in Conflict. That first level in that game, still remember it (and I have some really shit memory).

Wow.

Time between Skyrim to whatever is now larger than time between Daggerfall and Morrowind.

EDIT:

Maybe it's just because I was younger, but the time between Daggerfall to Morrowind felt a lot longer to me.
Yeah it is a bummer but I'm not surprised there was no new SP Elder Scrolls stuff, they are pushing their MMO pretty hard.

What are you talking about? They announced a ton of SP content for Elder Scrolls with the Amiibo support for Skyrim on the Switch

You know what my biggest surprise of e3 was?

iBKeWz2.jpg

Doesn't even include the $20 DLC. The goddamn hangers coin purse dangalangs beans n' mash on these guys.

In fairness they weren't also making fallout back then. That said disappointed they had nothing to show (elder scrolls or otherwise)
Yeah, They did have Redguard and Battlespire though.

EDIT:

My original post wasn't a criticism of Bethesda, it was just a statement of my realization that it was true.

Watching IGN.

Talking about Wolfenstein II: TNC.

Spoilers from previous Wolfenstein: TNO+TOB + for the new Wolf II: TNC....

BJ is hurt badly from previous game and is actually in a wheelchair to start TNC.

You have a level where you're in a wheelchair and actually do combat while in a wheelchair, before you actually get the suit to move around in.

Crazy.

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider.

From IGN:

Harvey Smith (of Arkane Studios) was asked about unexpected events + combos that can occur from using items/weapons/super-powers/environments.

So, they have this intended non-lethal item called a mine-hook which can suck enemies in via magnetics + hook enemies up to the wall non-lethally so they just hang there.

Dev's have actually messed around and placed numerous of these items near each other, which have caused enemies to get lethally killed + ripped around torn into pieces in a gory mess unexpectedly!! LOL.

I would probably play this game, it'd be better if It went on sale on Steam so I could use Steam wallet though.

I don't think your memory is that bad, I just don't think there have been very many strategy games like this.

That's interesting, but I don't quite know what to think about this. I think the AoE II HD Edition is really cool, but why go back to the drawing board with the inferior first game? Because it's there? Could we maybe get an Age of Empires IV instead?
I was pretty hyped until i saw that it was windows store only.

Crazy.
In the first level of Wolf TNO, BJ was pretty weak after spending many years in a coma. Though, as some characters in the game said, he heals insanely fast for some reason. So he'll probably be fine by the second level.

The trailer also shows Max Hass fighting along who I think is Bombate... and both Fergus (he eats the cookie) and Wyatt (he... takes LSD at the end of the trailer.)

So there's no canon ending? Or does the game have two timelines?

That Sony Spider-Man game from Insomniac looks like Batman Arkham combat X Spider-Man universe/settings/characters/style.

Can anyone come up w/ a different combat style system for this type of game (open-world super-hero game)?

Murdered took place in Salem.

Watch Dogs is in Chicago and San Francisco

The Division was in some place called New York City

Homefront Cry takes place in Philly

I'm sure people can pile on the list, but America isn't really a new or trendy setting for games. Now FC5 at least hits up rural America, which is a little overlooked and I'm excited about the premise. New Wolfy I'm more excited about the mixture of the US and the time period since any WWII and Nazi era games always takes place in Europe. I wouldn't mind the Sniper Elite series taking a jump to US soil, though I think stalking around the US and killing commies still would trigger the trumpets.
So where does Detroit: Become Human take place?

yes I have also gotten tired of Sony shenanigans ever since that article about it started making the rounds.

Unlike ms or ninty, they have all the exclusives to fill the void. For that matter, when was the last time Sony cancelled something of note? Even Last Guardian came out eventually, for better or worse.
the last guardian was hyped for the ps3. Got cancelled on that generation. I still remember an Asian girl working at Gamestop hyping that game to get me to purchase the PS3.

That and Final Fantasy Versus
