Just a little.
BL2 burnout not only killed my interest in Borderlands, it killed my interest in loot-based games entirely. Six years later and I still want nothing to do with The Division, Destiny, Warframe, Path of Exile, etc.
I really wish I had saved info from Raptr before it died so I would know my actual hours played but I did... I have 63 of 70 achievements in the original, this includes the DLC. I played it on the 360. Borderlands 2 I played on both platforms (I have 43 of 50 achievements on 360, none in the DLC), I have 24 hours played on PC. I think if I had "copied" my character over from 360 to PC I would have gotten father in it. I did play the Psycho class in PC which was/is fun in its own right but Commando and turret is likely more my play style. I still hjaven't played TPS... but now own all the DLC for all the games on PC.
I actually really enjoy loot based games. If you can find enjoyment in the grind, and you can keep yourself from buying other games (ha!), its actually a great way to save money while gaming in the long run.
Marvel Heroes I got 2000 hours out of and every time I watch a marvel movie or TV show I pine for a chance to play it again. (Obviously without the console patch that ruined the game at the very end.)
TC's Division 1000 hours. I still visit it at times. I really need to with the cosmetic unlocks for Division 2 being added to the game.
Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr 130 hours. Ever want to play a Diablo game set in the 40K universe? A need to get Forza Horizon 2 played before Horizon 4 comes out has made me push this to the side for now. (It could use some work from the developers too but its not as bad as reviews say... People just want instant gratification.)
And of course mentioning Forza brings light to my other time sink... Racing games.
Forza Motorsports 7, I have 188 hours in.
Forza Horizon 3, over 300 hours in.
I honestly feel I like decompressing with mindless action/repetitiveness more than a great story (I think Mass Effect 3 at release was my last RPG I really played) or games that require concentration like the souls series I've just never been able to get into. I did like Demon's Souls but playing it crippled my hands so I had to stop.
