I am always out looking for stuff. So, I have collected a lot of vintage high end stereo equipment. I have working cassette decks. You usually just have to replace the belts in a cassette deck to bring it back to life, not easy to do, a lot of disassembly is required. I also have reel to reel decks! I have hundreds of records, my dad has tens of thousands of records, we have a lot of working turntables. Cheap turntables are not going to give you good sound quality and they will eventually damage your records. I don't have a VCR anymore, I do see tons of them, the only thing I would want for it is the unedited original Star Wars trilogy.

I don't have a VCR, but I have considered getting one of those cheap, small CRT's that usually have one built in (..but probably with no intention of actually using the VCR part)

VCR/VHS is some decent social nostalgia for me. I could stay up later than my friend and watch the The Brak Show, I'd record while I watched and give them the VHS the next day. CD-R's and then USB sticks made that a lot easier later on though.
OMG The Brak Show was so weird. It was one of those OG Adult Swim shows that made you feel like you were on something. I remember when I was really little, my parents and I woke up super early to go to Sesame Place, I think, and while we were eating breakfast, Space Ghost Coast to Coast came on and my mother and I were hysterical laughing at it. During the car ride later, she and I kept sticking our bottom teeth out at each other to do Brak face lol

I remember when I was really little... Space Ghost Coast to Coast came on

I mean, who could resist those flowing locks.

Edit: In all seriousness, and I didn't watch the video, if it was unwanted, I hope the employee is OK.

Rogue Legacy 2 is a great game. May have to order a copy for Switch.
I do have it on Xbox so maybe I won't order it. I have a month to think about it.

They got me with RCT3 on switch. Because I bought it at full price on the LRG site, it will now show up on Amazon at a discount and you'll probably get your copy faster than me. You're welcome :)

Guessing the Persona games will show up at those sales because as I recall, LRG is not allowed to sell those through any other retailers.

Digital production update is funny because I ordered El Shaddai and that one is arriving to the warehouse already and was put on preorder 4 weeks after Rocket Knight Adventures but there was no update on Rocket Knight and I ordered those standards together. Hopefully Rocket Knight will be done soon.

No real interest in the blow out sale or blind boxes.

Remarkably have 2 packages incoming. Getting Arzette and FINALLY my order for Trip World DX, Getsufumaden, and Deathwish Enforcers PS5. Glad Arzette was a quick turnaround, that was part of my justification for buying that one.

The CD-R thing makes me wonder if they lost a supplier and just didn't bother canceling preorders. Or never had a supplier than can press 3DO discs in the first place. If they realized their product wouldn't work on a 3DO, they should've cancelled orders or at least send an update acknowledging this shortcomings with an option to cancel. Total mess though, which seems absurd considering we're talking about the freaking 3DO here. $70 is scam level pricing for a CD-R and some fancy cardboard or plastic.

It's all hoax guys. One giant hoax. It's the greatest witch hunt in the history of this country. The likes of which no one has ever seen before. People are treating LRG vewwy unfairly. Everyone says so; believe me. Twitter is making this political. You've got a full-digital account spreading lies about them. I will always defend the truth. If they're coming for LRG, they're coming for you and your physical games!

The icing on the cake is that the CD-R doesn’t even work on the original hardware. Like, why even bother burning anything to the disc at that point?

At any rate, gettin’ out the popcorn for another entertaining ride with LRG.

LRG remains one of the most incompetently run companies I've ever seen that literally survives merely because they were first. It really is a wonder just how much brand damage they can take before this house falls. I suppose it's lucky that so many of its customers appear to enjoy being lied to, abused, and chronically gouged
