Does anyone know what's so special about the WM edition of the new TMNT game? Is it all just DLC?

EDIT* Ok, I dunno why the link is defaulting to that "robot or human" text but it's the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed - Walmart Edition that I'm asking about.

It originally did say there was a steelbook, but it was corrected. WM edition has just DLC and there is a WM Deluxe edition with steelbook and keychains.

Yeah, I got the same email on the 12th, noting they'd start shipping that week but I also haven't heard anything. Sucks because I'm leaving town for a week soon so I really hope it doesn't just show up one day and end up sitting around...

It looks like they have started printing labels. I checked my FedEx account and it shows that it is prepping to ship from Ireland, but they haven't actually handed the package over to FedEx yet.

I forgot this is getting remade or whatever. Was this game like... actually popular or something? I remember there being a lot of hype for it pre-release but the actual game was forgettable. Like it had good ratings, but so do a ton of other games.

I'd say it was. It was a big exclusive for the Wii, and still is until the remaster comes out. I really enjoyed it. I enjoyed it more than the second game, though I played the second game on Vita.

$430 after shipping. The statues are huge. I have the other 3 and Triss was the one I wanted them to make. I think the Ciri statue is the only one that went up in value a ton. Yennifer is still in stock after a long time and even half off right now, so I think that's why Triss stock is limited to 400.

My PS5 copy of BG3 just cleared customs in Tennessee and is estimated to arrive early next week.
 
The hell, FedEx is still showing nothing for me...

EDIT* if you guys go to your order status on Larian's store, does it show tracking # there? My just shows up as blank still but not sure if that's just how it is for everything.
 
We pay $100 and wait all this damn time and Larian can't bother to give us tracking? Worse than LRG. Going to be so pissed if mine gets delivered and stole and I never even know
 
For those who have it shipped, what does it say under status? I got no emails and no notifications and under paid it's green and says completed, but under the thing above it, it's yellow, has a clock and says tracked courier. I'm just hoping mine didn't ship and I just wasn't informed.

I just checked mine and it shows the same thing as yours.
 
Got an email this morning from FedEx saying a label's been created by Larian. I was a bit baffled by the standard transit date saying August, until I realized the date format was day/month/year. Monday, 08/07/2024 by 20:00.

Larian is in Ireland, unless a US vendor that tacks them on (i.e. eBay) taxes aren't usually applied to my international purchases. Might be a state thing, might be an IRS loophole, who knows?

FWIW the invoice doesn't say anything about shipping or have a tracking number either. So it's possible that it appears when it's shipped, but it doesn't give any relevant information and I can't say for sure since I wasn't watching the order status page before it shipped.
 
No, but I got a USPS email that something is coming from Texas so I'm almost 100% positive it's that. I always get emails from NISA like a week after I get my games these days.

My Daybreak CE just arrived via usps. Was required to sign for the package. No email. Website still says unfulfilled. System needs to be better but I least I have it on release day.

Shit... I have like 25 packages with the post office while I'm out of town and I'm afraid something is gonna get lost in the shuffle. I hate that there's no easy way to track some of this stuff and especially hate that NISA can't figure out their own shit to update tracking when something ships.
