Sega Channel wasn’t even the only online service for that generation, there was also Xband

The difference being that Xband was online multiplayer and sega channel was downloading games/demos primarily. Neither were particularly great.
I’ve never seen what the Xband looks before your reply. That’s pretty interestin. I heard about online play on the Genesis but didn’t know much about it.

I had the Sega Channel, it was really great at that time for me. I am curious on why it did not resonate with you the same way as it did for me. The contents of games did eventually dried up and they were just rotating the same 50 games in and out after awhile.

I don't know what that guy is talking about. Sega Channel is one of the greatest times I had in gaming. Folks think they got it good now with a couple games a month on a paid subscription. Sega Channel would drop 50 games a month. Always looked forward to the month to reset. I felt the ones that stuck around for more than a month were usually longer RPG type games. In an era where this didn't exist, to have all these games beamed to your console was insane. Didn't need to go to blockbuster deal with rental late fees, stock issues. I always wished for them to bring it back. 50 retro games rotating a month, let me try and play so many games.

Games leaving PS + Extra and Premium in February (should be February 18th)
  • The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition
  • Tales of Arise
  • Tales of Zestiria
  • Tales of Symphonia Remastered
  • Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition
  • Outriders
  • Scarlet Nexus
  • Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition
I highly recommend the Outer Worlds. I haven't played any of the others.

Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings is only $6 so I am going to pick that up soon. I was expecting it to be $10.
Does also have trophy support.
Isn't that an old Wii U game? Sorry, there is no discount that I would toss money at that...even free it would simply be added to my library to never be played. This seems like a money grab while PS5 owners await for "The Great Circle"

I did watch some game play and I may just skip it. I was thinking this was a different game in the series.

Microsoft is really going to help save 2025 for PS5. Wonder how long it'll take for Sony's studios to recover from all the GAAS cancellations

Nobody is being ableist against the richest person in the world who buys anything he wants including a website, exploding rockets, and the title of first gentleman. Even if you ignore the political leanings of the site (and its owner), it's still a cesspool of hate that sends civilization backwards. Which, you can argue still aligns with said politics.

CAG Deals is pretty active on twitter though. I don't see it being banned here. Not much gets posted that isn't a video game deal.
You are describing every website that lets people post, including this one.

This is 100% a political thing and people's way of acting out and trying to get control back. Twitter was just as bad before Musk bought it as it is now. BlueSky and Threads are just as bad as twitter only the hate (at least on Threads, I dont use BlueSky) is aimed in just one direction.

Rather than ban any site maybe only post video game related stuff in video game threads. =-O

Yeah, because bluesky isn't biased at all. Or does that not count when the bias is a different leaning?

When the people that are in control of BlueSky do a literal Nazi salute, then we can talk. Imagine trying to do a whataboutism on this of all things... always the same tired playbook of deflecting and making everyone feel everything is equally shitty so that people ignore/downplay the actual messed up stuff.

Not directly related to this thread though just commenting. I saw above twitter links were posted. Will CAG be banning and outlawing links like reddit has been since Elon went off the deep end?
Justified or not, it’s cool when you can look back and see the exact moment things started heading for a cliff.

Lol, I see others were just thinking the same.

This is not the correct venue to discuss politics. If you want to talk about them, feel free to visit dumbassranter.com, instead.

CAG actually has a quiet unused Politics section too:

Wow I’m busy for a day or two and the discussion is all over the place! Merely asked one question about banning social media links.

on topic, are the PS 30th items actually limited or is Sony quietly constantly producing them? They seem to be constantly coming back in stock.
