F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for the 360 slim, or ps3 to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.
Wow I hope someone jumped on it, because now it's up to $994.99
His keyboard must be broken and accidently inserted too many 9's lol
Is that using composite or av cables? Also, do you think it would look better using them on an older tube television?
I have the PSP component cable. The main problem is not really that games don't look good. The problem is when you are playing a game it only displays on a small portion of the screen. If your TV has a good zoom function you will probably be OK but otherwise the game will only be using like 1/3 of the screen.
Thanksgiving morning there were a couple for $97, I haven't seen them that cheap since though.
I found a $99.99 Good Kinect last week and I got it in yesterday. Way better condition than I expected. I also had a $113.99 Like New one ordered in case the condition was going to be bad on the other that had an expected delivery date of the 24th. Unfortunately it shipped early and now I need to figure out what to do with the second one...
Yeah. Except that the $180 PS3 is already gone and not a peep from whoever was lurking and bought it.
i would have bought it if it was still available

i do wish people would post when they buy stuff we post for 2 reasons 1 it lets us know we dont need to waste our time checking and 2 it makes the person who posted it feel good knowing a cag got it and then they want to keep posting and searching more, which results in more of us working hard to help each other :applause:
lol it could easily be someone not on this site that bought it
exactly thats why i like it when people say "sweet i got that" or somethin like that then we know what we did paid off

Who do we email when something shows up damaged or as the poster above had something water-soaked? And what's the protocol for that?

I got something recently that was crushed and broken and not in the as described "Like New" condition, but it does technically still work and I don't necessarily want to return it.

Contact Amazon customer service.

the SD threads pop up from time to time, fortunately no one has made a warehouse deals thread over there -- i use that site frequently but their percentage of lurkers is huge that limited quantity deals almost always get snagged by non-contributors -- makes me post less and less over there...

as for the acceptable ps3 from today -- that was a steal for whoever was able to snag it!

Has anyone noticed that the warehouse deals are going up in price more now it seems? I wanted a silver 360 controller with the new d-pad and a new one was $2 higher. I looked at a few games and most of them are like $3 cheaper than new.

Not a gaming deal, but I just ordered the complete series of Seinfeld for $106 out of pocket after a little credit I had burning a hole in my pocket there from AWD, and it said shrink wrapped with small crease on box. I know it was $87 new back around Christmas, but I gotta admit I JUST started watching Seinfeld recently (I know, I know) and I've fallen in love with it. I can't wait on TBS, they only air two episodes a day!

But, I digress.

It could be because people are watching it every minute and buying up everything as soon as it becomes available. They are not giving anything a chance to drop in price. Why not put an item on there for as high as possible when everything is selling out in 5 minutes?
why bite on that ? it seems expensive for an 80gb they had a 320 for that price t his morning? or is this one backwards compatible?
The 80GB's with 4 usb ports are backwards compatible, hence the higher price. Supposed to be brand new factory sealed from the description also. I think I am just going to wait and hope amazon matches targets $50 credit deal like they did last week for best buy.

If I really need to play a PS2 game I can just pick on up on craigs or gamestop for $20-$40.

that one is not backwards compatible as far as i can tell if you read the reviews they all say its not and it says release date is 2008

Wow just picked up two Super Mario All Stars for Wii. One was $16.99 acceptable and the other $19.99 very good. Both sound like there is some damage to the box.

I think a third one popped up but it sold super fast of course so no time to post it here. Maybe more will be posted though.

Wow, first the thread about the 12 Luigi's Mansion Gamecube games for $25 and how you could resell them all for massive profit, and now this?? Keep going, Sir Hoard-A-Lot! :applause:

I think the best part about the Luigi's Mansion thread was that you deleted it after everyone jumped on your case for buying out Sears and bragging about your potential profit.

I didn't delete it. In fact I was pretty pissed when the thread disappeared. Probably because so many people trolling it (rofl at those losers). There is a reason that forum is called Deal/Shopping Discussions & Bragging Rights. I bought 12 because I found them at only $1.97 brand new. So what?

I flip sometimes, but most of the stuff I buy is for myself or friends. And I post plenty of warehouse finds in this thread to help out CAGers. And I only flip because I am real broke right now. Been looking for a new job, but tough in this economy.

If I was at, say, Best Buy, and I saw 10 copies of Super Mario All-Stars LE for like $4.99 each - I would probably buy them all, hehe :)

I probably wouldn't post about it here, cause people would get pissed, but I would probably buy them. I feel I make a good enough effort to provide other people with deal offers, and give people good deals every now and then, that I am justified in being a little greedy every now and then :) I'm a little less greedy with online stuff for some reason.

Oh well - people like aem will post stuff like this every now and then, and people will get mad or jealous about it every time. It's pretty much inevitable. Now if he bought 50 copies of All-Stars at that price, emptying out their stock, I don't know, it would seem worse. But 2 copies...not a big deal.

I figured you deleted it b/c everyone jumped on your case. Had you posted the link BEFORE you bought every single one of those Luigi's Mansion games, I would've grabbed one.

Unfortunately, it's users like yourself who have changed the mentality behind this site to something much more like Slickdeals. Why bother letting other users get in on a good deal, when you can laugh all the way to the bank?

It's really a pointless argument on my part - everyone is more than happy to be greedy, I just find the mentality to be pretty pathetic and sad.

Now ur getting it :)
Now ur getting it :)
LOL - there isn't anything to "get". People are much more likely to be greedy assholes than to consider others. I see it here all the time (and pretty much everywhere now, honestly) and I think it's a shame.

I see where your coming from I do think there is a happy medium though if u get it just right all ur games u keep will be free

Definitely - I think a lot of people do this, I know I've done it at times. I'm basically pointing out that it's one thing to buy an extra game or two for profit to cover the cost of the one you're planning to keep. It's another thing to constantly buy out everything for pure profit and prevent anyone else from making a legitimate purchase.
