F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

Appreciate it but can't use Amazon credit on that. Have another 2DS on order from the restock the other day just in case something was terribly wrong with it. Blue instead of red which is unfortunate but hopefully I'll have better lucky with it.
I dunno if you've already answered this question, but can I ask why you're looking for a 2DS when you have a 3DS (unless it's for someone else, in which case feel free to ignore me )?

I'm just finding the 3DS XL so big and uncomfortable to hold for extended periods, especially laying in bed where I play it the most, that I'm just not playing it. Heard great things about the 2DS being far more comfortable to hold.

While I've never held an XL, I do agree that the 2DS fits better in my hands than the 3DS did. Still, it's not perfect (it would need some sort of curvature where my palms meet the console) but it's nice. The biggest downside for me is that the 2DS doesn't fit in my pants pocket.

It's the same problem I've had since they've gone to the clamshell design. They're too thin and top heavy and just don't feel comfortable over long play sessions. This is the first XL I've had and it's just gotten worse as the arthritis in my hands has been acting up.

You should buy a grip for the 3DS. It may look silly, but it helps significantly.

Damn. I go to dentist and out with friends and miss out on all these great 3DS deals. And I'm stuck with a return of NSB2.

ugh I made a mistake and trusted AWD in terms of the games they sell working I have a huge backlog and I tried playing a couple games I got months ago and two out of three have disc read errors and one of them looks like a cat was using it as a scratching post

the moral of the story is don't trust anyone and as soon as you get a game try and play it :(

Yeah I ordered the Dreamgear one that was up earlier so we shall see how that goes for now. Oddly only certain games give me issue on the Vita. I think it's just the top heavy clamshell that makes it really bad for me.

Question: I have the 3DS XL which I can return for $149.99.

The 2DS is going for $99.99. Is the 3DS XL really worth $50 more?

Do like the you fold ability?

I want a 2DS, but I don't like the design. I want to be able to fold the system so it takes up less room with my other stuff.

Other then price, and the fold. Is there any real difference between them?

In my opinion yes. I personally enjoy using the 3D and the big screen is SO MUCH BIGGER and nicer. My wife has a 2DS and I'm not sure I could play it for extended periods especially when being used to my XL.

Question for you guys. If I grab a game off amazon that has dlc codes and the codes have been used would I be able to return the game back to them or am I stuck with it?

Only other difference I can think of is playing 3DS games in 3D if you're into that. 2DS has no 3D.

That's the reason why my Vita is playable. I couldn't imagine holding it for more than 30 minutes without a grip.
Which grip do you guys recommend for the 3DS XL? I need one badly... haha I need to "get a grip." I'm not trying to brag, but I have very big hands :whistle2:$

After 30 minutes of Super Mario 3D Land, my hands are cramped. I like to hold down the B button the whole time and have Mario running continuously. Thank goodness I bought a 3DS XL. I can't imagine using a standard sized 3DS.

I personally use a circle pad pro that I got off of amazon. It feels fantastic in my hands for lengthy periods. Only downside would be games that utilize the right bumper can be a bit tricky since it covers it up a bit.

I had a 2DS that I bought on black Friday. When Target had their $135 3DS XL deal, I got one. I returned the 2DS and haven't looked back since.

To be honest, the 2DS was a bit more comfortable during long play sessions, but I do feel the 3DS XL is simply a nicer device. The quality of the build and the 3D itself is definitely worth the extra money in my book.

There's a Vita 3G/WiFi bundle VG for $153.xx and a Assassin's Creed Vita Wifi Bundle LN for $177.xx

Is it worth it on any?

Should I get a PS3 to play some of the exclusives (even though I have a backlog) or should I wait to see how Playstation Now turns out and possibly get a PS4 or vita to play PS3 exclusives?

There is also a $154.xx (G) Walking Dead Bundle if you're interested.

Edit - $22.xx (LN) Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - Vita
Hmmm. Is that (G) Vita bundle a dinger description? I'm thinking it is but I've never pulled the trigger on something under the hopes that it's a dinger.

What do you mean by dinger description? It says:

Fully playable game is included; downloadable content (DLC) or codes for online play may require additional purchase. Packaging may be damaged.

I'm pondering these 3 choices... I'd prefer TwD bundle or the AC bundle since they come with a game and a 4GB memory card.
