F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

I just grabbed a Prime account but I haven't had the best of luck with AWD yet. My first order, Forza 4 Limited Edition, got refunded after a week or so as they said it was undeliverable. I looked at the tracking number and it appears it never even made it to the UPS facility..

My second order, Halo Reach Legendary Edition, arrived today. Except it wasn't the Legendary edition, it was the limited.. Ugh.. Gotta return that tomorrow, but suffice to say I haven't been that impressed with AWD so far..
I ordered two Halo 3 LE's and one was the standard edition and the other was the LE but beat up. I usually get great deals / condition from AWD but I always buy Like New. The Halo 3 LE's were LN but definitely not the right condition. For $3 each I wasn't mad though.

I've boughten a few LN things from AWD almost everything I've gotten was A or VG. Only disappoint I've had was with bio shock VG it was missing all the extra stuff. Either way it wasn't a loss for me I still have a sealed copy and now I have one I can play :).

Flightstick showed up and same thing, brand new with a hole punched in the side of the box. I'm happy so far though it's going to be a huge adjustment to this new keyboard. Good excuse to play lots of BF4 though. :D

This^ I mean I have to question how many of these people even sell stuff online or if they have just been really lucky.

One moron tried to tell me that it doesn't matter if you buy a game and don't like it just sell it and make most of the money back. I explained that you will more often then not never make your money back on new games with more likely on used but its very situational. He also must be forgetting that things cost money to list on ebay and amazon like he was recommending.
I've had one bad experience with eBay so far but it was a doozy.

That sucks. Ive saved a ton of money buying things off AWD and gotten a couple items that werent even opened, besides that they had little to no damage. Through this year Ive gotten 2 xboxs off AWD one for $19 and the other for $35 both were in basically brand new condition. Its all the luck of the draw I guess?
Yeah, as far as the Halo Reach legendary edition it looks like someone just mislabled it. The limited edition content does come with the legendary, but that's only part of it. Guess i'll keep trying! lol

I honestly haven't the faintest but the fact that I've only had this card since March (I think, maybe it was May? It was definitely a month that starts with 'M') of this year and have 335,000 lifetime points might have something to do with getting banned.
335k fuck. I have just under 30k lifetime points in about 2+ years or whenever Edge switched over to PUR.

I'm pretty sure $10 is 100 points for buying NEW and $10 is 200 points for buying or selling USED.

360 Wireless controller: 35,000 points, $1750

To make it even, 315,000/35,000 = 9. 9x $1,750 = $15,750 (in sold + bought used transactions). I am shocked :)

You forgot the points on trade ins which I know are a big part of reaching that number and so is ...

do you earn pur points with a amazon gift card purchase?
... purchasing gift cards that yields PUR points.

To give you an idea of how I get all those points and why I was rightly banned here's a visual illustration:

Those are just the receipts that were on my desk.  The big pile on the far left is September and those are almost all GS receipts.  It was about 5 inches tall and even after I rubber banded them together they were almost 2 inches thick.

I can probably do that too. But I have a job, friends, and family I want to interact with. That's just fuck ing nuts you do that much.

I'm not trying to be a Dick but do you work? How do you even have time to shop that much?
Flipping is a full time job, didn't you know. It just doesn't get you healthcare benefits, paid vacation and such and your currency of choice are gift cards. Sounds like a real life rpg where you grind a lot for loot and instant gratification (that some of us are also guilty of, including myself) and can't just stop like an addict.

Hey Eld, you and DarkVulture should join forces. It could be just like io and hoarder (hypothetically speaking and a nod to amusing discussion amongst the two of them), or batman and robin, or the Vulture Brothers (the irony).
I am just messing with you bro :p

Truth is, there promos have been fantastic over the summer and even now and folks went ham on them, some more than others. Folks getting $200 profit in one or two goings will generate that kind of buzz and also get on GS's radar. High risk merits high reward but high risk has its consequences as well that Eld, I, and others know all too well.

Im not gonna lie I did my share of flipping it paid off my Xbox one my total cash spent was $100. So made a $400 profit :).

Considering the literal cost for six months of flipping fun was $20 out of pocket and I have a new phone, WiiU, three 3DS XLs, a PS4 and a ton of games and other things I wouldn't have been able to afford otherwise to show for my ban I'm at peace with it.

Actually I don't even think it was six months; really almost all of it was late July and onward.

Speaking of grinding, I am just not at all into
Smtiv. Maybe it's just not for me.
It doesn't think you're for it either. :p

There are some parts of the story that are slow. Just take those times to fuse demons. My team was awesome near the end. Repelling physical attacks and lots of other types and having little to no weaknesses.

Who cares brah, you have the stuff you have, and you put in time. If they really wanted those loopholes closed then they would do it.

Good job regardless

and welcome to

Slickdeals.net

lmao jk but yeah who cares man, its all good, the route is there.

I have brothers to and I'm glad to be able to give them what they want by flipping a little.

Wasn't really going for the humble brag but I guess that's how it ended up.  Part of it's that I have to keep reminding myself that all that time and effort were worth it when I'm back to almost nothing available to spend on games.

People don't brag about their full time job. they keep it under the radar.
