F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

I want that Persona 4, but after tax it'd be more than the current PSN price for me.  I know it's supposed to be an amazing game, but it looks cheezy to me, and I think 15 total is probably my price point.

Snagged the WiiU 32gb Deluxe.  $244 after tax and coupon was just too good to pass up, especially for Nintendo stuff which rarely drops in price.   Sorta having second thoughts though.  Have a HUGE backlog and don't need a new console, but I kinda want it.

:wiiu: Deluxe Console Set - (A) $251.10  dchrisd snagged it. Unless he wusses out, too. :p

This is available again if anyone else was thinking about grabbing it. I decided even at $245 I can't justify getting it now. I have a launch day PS4 pre-order in and most of the games I am looking forward to for the Wii U are coming out around the same time so... I'm probably better off waiting until after Christmas for this one.

However if anyone sees any 3DS XLs come up on AWD tonight let me know. There are a million and one games I would buy for that today. And only about five of them are Pokemon.

What do you think? Bite for $169 with the coupon or wait?
I don't play many games as much as I used to, but I am still loving the 3DS. If you've been wanting one, the 10% off would make it even better. Think I paid $165 for mine

EDIT - plus, you don't know if the coupon will still be valid the next time you see a 3DS XL come up for under the 160ish range. The like new condition is pretty good for consoles most of the time, too. My 3DS XL still had all of the inserts, sealed AR cards, everything.

Quick question, with the trade 2's to gamestop, what game are you guys mostly getting for your new game? Are you guys just playing the game you get or are you selling/trading it in somewhere? That seems to be a really popular sale but if you get 2 trade 2 games on AWD for around 20 each (or more with tax), and then you trade them in to GS to get a new $60 game for $10, then that's essentially $10 off of the new game correct (2 games traded in takes off $50)? Seems like a lot of work.

I do it for games I've been wanting--NBA, FIFA, GTA etc.

1- You can trade it towards ANY new game. So, trade it for a $0.99 game, and the rest of the credit goes back to your card.

2- You can get any game, pay the $9.99 difference, and then return the game within 30 days(new) and get all the money back.

Well it depends what you want and what you paid for the trade two games. If you pay $40 for them combined and buy a $60 game that's $10 off. A lot of us just buy a $1-5 game and either eat the cost or return it.
