My life until 9th grade was pretty much that show Weeds without the mexicans. Not as cool as TV makes you think.

Considering everyone will be playing MW2 for the next... 6 months, I'm not too worried about missing out on a few weeks.
 
They(with the bizarre exception of LP) got banned for playing MS's #1 moneymaker a month early.

As long as you wait until games are released at retail, you *should* be OK.

* This was a known exploit that was abandoned because better prospects came along. I did not discover it; I just figured out how to make it work properly. Better hackers than I likely figured it out way before I did; they just never used it for anything I know of.
* I won't be releasing this or divulging the name of the game involved. It's a proof-of-concept, and it may become more developed privately, but until there's a worthwhile reason to release it it'll stay private. I'd prefer that Sony not patch it before it becomes really useful.
* It's user-mode only, meaning no flash modification, no piracy, no advanced custom themes, no plugins - none of that. I wouldn't expect anything else to come from it, unless I get some help.

wow......i hadnt heard about that happening. Crazy that they banned tags this time instead of console IDs. Was it cause of the french copy that came out early? Yea it would definitely suck more to have your tag banned than your console ID, in my opinion at least. somehow I have a feeling people aren't going to be jumping on LIVE with MW2 early.

I've always wondered this: Have any customers come at you, pissed off that their console was banned?

Since the 360 console logs the date you earn achievements, I don't think staying off LIVE makes any difference.

never had any customers get banned from games i gave them. Some dudes downloaded their own shit and fucked it up themselves......thats not my problem.

I'm sure there'll be something that'll keep people from getting banned for playing something early.

That's what I mean. Have they ever tried blaming you? I've always wondered if that happens.

TFN has a funny story about some li'l vato getting pissed about a scratched disc that the guy scratched himself.
 
Some dudes give me fucked up discs then ask me why they're scratched. I don't help people out anymore besides one of thekeybladewars' coworkers. He's a really big idiot, but funny and doesn't really ask stupid questions like when halo 4 is coming out or if they can play their 360 games on a different console.

no, but one dude blamed me for some dude trying to rob him. I pimped outhis 360 with all these lights, etc and his neighbor saw it one time when he was over at his house and then tried to break in to the dudes house to steal it. He didnt know that they were still home or something like that. Either way, the dude called me up and was like "I almost got robbed because of what you did...."

As for dudes trying to blame it on me, I have a verbal disclaimer each time I mod. I am not responsible for your console getting banned from XBL. It is annoying dealing with idiots through Craigslist though. I always hated it when Id give a meeting time for someone and theyd show up late and waste my time.
 
I think I am going to start a "Porn/Sex toys and alcohol for the troops" drive. It'd be popular as hell (and shut down quick) and funny to see how many fleshlights i can distribute to everyone here.
