It's still an above-average micromanagement game you can sink your mouse into, but a few more weeks or months of testing could've eliminated a number of these small issues."

Pros: Good game of micromanagement. Power-ups a clever addition. Introduces new stores with new products. Can earn awards and helper landmarks.

Cons: Quite easy. Does not really need machines. Right-clicking functionality is limited. No incentive for chaining recycled products. Some broken items do not look broken.

"Deep Voyage isn’t a bad game - it’s just one of those “eh” puzzlers that, while relaxing, proves to be a mediocre collapse-style diversion. The board layouts are interesting, and increasingly challenging, but the so-so graphics, upgrades and design competition theme make this a C-grade title at best."

Pros: 200+ levels. Can spend tokens on power-ups. Jigsaw puzzle-like minigame. Challenging level design.

Cons: Not really different than other match-3 games. Doesn’t tell you how much time is left per level. “Upgrades” not much of a payoff. Graphics are so-so.

"Val'Gor is a fairly original game with an interesting story and lots of potential, but it's lost some of its draw by being just a bit too difficult for extended play. I'd love to see a sequel to this game that minimizes the surprise challenges, and instead focuses on providing more unified game play."

Pros: 13 chapters and 140 puzzles means long lasting play. Mini-games can be played alone. Pictures have different changes each time you play.

Cons: Tedious need to replay the whole chapter if you lose. Some challenges, like searching in the dark with a scrolling spotlight, are much too difficult. Hint system is flawed.

"Salem Witch Trials plays a lot like The Edgar Allen Poe Conspiracy --with dark, beautiful graphics, a compelling story, and a solid mixture of HOG and point and click adventure elements -- but also fixes most of the issues the first game had. The puzzles are more logical this time around and the HOG scenes don't feature clues with multiple solutions. All this amounts to a wonderfully spooky game that, while a little on the easy side, is still incredibly enjoyable. Salem Witch Trials manages to overcome the sophomore curse and offer up an experience that's even better than the original."

Pros: Dark, moody atmosphere. Compelling story. Nice mixture of point-and-click adventure and HOG. Haunting soundtrack.

Just when the mystery starts getting really intriguing, it's over, with far too many questions left unanswered. You'll be done with the game in just two or three hours, and that's taking time for every puzzle and searching for every secret. In a way, it's a compliment to the compelling nature of the game's story that it's such an upsetting jolt when the credits begin to roll. It clearly lays the groundwork for a sequel, so I suppose we'll just have to wait for Anton and Amelia's next case."

"Princess Isabella: A Witch's Curse is a little strange (one of the items I had to find was a "twisted neck") and seems to have something against snakes (the game considers them "evil"), but its healthy variety of well-crafted puzzles and hidden object searches make for a challenging and creative fairy tale. The game's ending hints at a possible sequel; here's hoping we get to see another chapter of this story."

Pros: Plenty to do. Satisfying variety of challenges. Great look. Helpful map.

Cons: Aggravating and just plain bad voice acting. Questionable "evil" things - like snakes and fireflies. Stressful final scene.

"Diner Dash: Hometown Hero is a good mix of the familiar along with several significant new ideas. Gameplay is still as challenging as ever and gets more than a little frantic at times (the bawling babies certainly don't help), but most importantly, the game still feels fresh - which after this many sequels isn't an easy feat."

Pros: New locations and outfits. Dynamic and interesting levels. Good pacing. Positive changes reflected in the scenery. Online multiplayer mode.

Cons: Difficulty can be frustrating at times. In spite of significant new additions, many characters and gameplay elements are the same from previous games.

"For gamers who do encounter these glitches I suspect it will be just the last nail in the coffin that takes Memory Clinic from the merely unremarkable to the outright unplayable. It's a shame, because the hidden object elements are varied and tough enough that they might hold some appeal for HOG fans looking for some punishment, but the combination of sloppy programming and an ill-conceived, poorly-executed "brain training" angle has left it a mess. It might be worth a look if Digi Ronin can tweak some of the game's issues, but unless and until that happens, don't waste your time."

Pros: Hidden object searches can be very challenging.

Cons: The "brain training" aspect is a complete waste. Dull, repetitive mini-games. No long-term tracking or analysis of data to record progress.

Cons:Some frustrating level layouts. Rehashes traditional match-three elements. Having to hunt for obscure pieces of objects versus entire items.
