CAG PS3 Fighting Game Matchmaking Thread - Injustice out NAO!

Street Fighter and Tekken in the same game isn't something I would have ever thought of. Seems like a interesting idea. I get the feeling Namco was on board since Tekken 6 didn't do so hot. Also Third Strike online? Only thing more I could want from Capcom is Powerstone 2 with online play or a Powerstone 3.

How the fuck does this work? Do all Street Fighter characters have everything juggleable now? I would rather have something worthwhile like Capcom VS SNK 2. Not Street Fighter X Tekken.

Online 3rd strike is gonna be hot though. Lets Sean them with homie power. Too bad Remy is just a homersexual Guile.

Hype slightly raised. But since it's Capcom, they're going to really fuck up the Namco characters the same way they fucked up the SNK Characters in CvS2. There's gonna be a lot of angry Tekken fans when they realize Capcom essentially forced em to really use Capcom style gameplay.

Still more exciting then Cunt Shift though :applause:

They could just go and buy namco's version, Tekken x SF, which is Tekken style.

Realistically? SF x Tekken, even if it turns out to be the worse version.

Except SvC Chaos SUCKED. CvS2 was the far better game despite all the SNK characters and movesets along with their traits being severely weakened to their respective games.

Tekken is bigger than street fighter in most of asia, and consistently sells pretty decently anywhere else. So it seems a bit less lopsided than the CvS series was in terms of popularity.


I also imagine namco is going to put a bunch of money and time into their end of the deal too, which apparently was an issue for snk

Capcom vs. SNK 2 would be pretty insane.

Imagine the possibilities. Maybe six types of different fighting styles or 'grooves'. 3 from Capcom fighting games and 3 from SNK fighting games. Imagine parrying in it, that would be so broken.
 
Since SNK would be involved, I wonder if they would have a crazy-hard boss too? Get something ridiculous, like a "God Rugal," or an even more broken Shin Akuma.
 
So...I now have Super Street Fighter IV, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, and Street Fighter II HD Remix. Any MvC 2 noobs out there who want to play? My current team is B.B. Hood, Strider, and Dr. Doom.

I'm maining Dee Jay/T. Hawk in HD Remix, and the same for SSFIV (oddly enough).

I've been toying around with the concept of the Nintendo Power glove being very similar to the hands of M. Bison. Behold below picture.

That's actually more akin to C.Viper. She has the power gloves 2.0.

Bison is just badass and can generate obscene amounts of purple plasma he doesn't need no stinkin' power glove.

Never liked Crimson Viper to be honest. Plus I rather pretend to be bison then some hoe with flaming boots that stem from Athletes foot.

i usually do awful against terrible zangiefs but this was the first good one i've faced and i lucked out =D

is sweeping a good technique for getting people when they wake up? i do it because it works (see end of vid for example) but is there a more effective alternative that can be used at that range? i feel newbish when i do them.
