Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - Gen. Discussion & Info

Downloading game settings bug getting annoying. Been trying for the last 20 minutes with no luck.

And the influx of people who aren't supposed to be in the beta VIA exploit and non-US/Canada people aren't helping either.
 
We'll get into a party, then go on from there.

If the downloading game settings issue really is there, you might want to load your 360 now in preparation. I heard that if you're invited a party though, it negates the issue.

For everyone with the "Downloading Game Setting" bug, I actually thought it was a real message and let it "download" for about 10-15 minutes, it went away, and I never got it again.

Also, for tonight's game, someone please establish themselves as the "host", and invite me to the game at 8 :)

Sounds good, but I won't be able to get on until later on in the night because I got classes that run late.

And people that get the DGS screen, just let it sit. Trust us, it will eventually go away. Dont exit out, back out to the menu or anything. Let it do its thing.

I was about to ask the same thing.. I've emailed them thinking maybe my code just didn't get sent, but still nothing.

It's beginning to piss me off seeing everyone I know playing, even the ones that don't care for it.
 
Hey guys, write me down for some action this week. Also to those who didnt get codes, I was talking to some Brits today that figured out an exploit to DL the thing without one.
 
Well, I tried playing with some people tonight and the party system is really broken. Half the time it just randomly boots people from the party while loading the game but then you can't join the game already in progress. And while I'm 100% sure this will be resolved in the finished product, I'll be too damn busy playing "Team Fortress 2" to actually care.
