Then that's really weird. It's been 24+ plus hours and the Elite website still doesn't show that I have a premium membership, even though my Xbox account does, and the Elite website displays the correct stats for the account that I purchased Elite on.
 
Make sure you log on to the Elite website. This will help trigger the bonuses. I got one title and emblem one day, the other of each a fee days later and the weapon camo a few days after that.

Yeah, but the Elite website isn't even recognizing that I have a premium membership to Call of Duty Elite.

I think there are a lot of bugs they are still working out with the Elite service.
 
So now that my Youtube account is linked, I take it you can't render and upload clips unless you're a premium subscriber? Or is it just experiencing issues currently?

The render and share on facebook options are greyed in COD.

PP90M is really good but you may change your mind when you unlock the MP7. Huge clip,0 recoil, real good rate of fire, and its damage is good from all distances. Its pretty much an EZ mode gun like Rapid Fire,Red Dot Type 95.
 
Well, after playing a few hours tonight and just raging more and more after each match, I've decided I'm done with this game until they fix the spawns and hit detection problems. I'm sick of spawn dying and other people not dying.

If it's not fixed by the time TOR comes out, I'm really tempted to sell this game and use the money to buy timecards.

It doesn't show the caps and destroys in HQ either.

The time to register the premium Elite membership has been extended to December 13th. If anyone was on the edge and didn't pull the trigger on it, you have two more weeks.

started this up last night since I thought founder status would be gone (bought sub with points) only to find out founder status was extended (conveniently when BF3's Karkland drops).

I was playing with a friend who mainly plays on ps3(currently in the 50s or something). I was doing terrible, even worse than when I first got MW2 (first cod). It seems that gameplay is faster paced than MW2 even though I keep hearing otherwise. I switched sensitivity to 10 and was doing a bit better, maybe stay with 8 or 9 (always 10 on MW2.

Can anyone give me some tips on how to do better in TDM? I'll "learn" the maps soon enough and will try out other modes later. It'd be great if people could explain things in comparison to MW2 (ie gun/perk A is like gun B but with C).

Lastly fuck Type 95 and that default machine pistol akimbo'd
 
I confirmed today that lag compensation is biggest reason why this game sucks. I played with a friend 3000 miles away, and we got great scores, and no major hit-detection problems. When he ragequit due to spawn deaths, I started playing Kill Confirmed and got hitmarkers on point-blank shotgun blasts.

This game is shit.

No, just don't play TDM, it's camp city. I pretty much avoid it always.

Try Headquarters or Demolition. The camping is far less of a problem and it's just more fun. You get tons more kills on those modes too so you rank up a bit faster. In COD4 I'd literally rank up twice as fast on HQ.

Type 95 will probably get a nerf soon.

Also, what do you guys like to do for your classes? personally I'm having the most success right now using an assault rifle, with bling. I use a red dot and a silencer. Then I use Blind Eye, Assassin and some random 3rd perk (they all suck). When you never appear on enemy radar you stay alive so much longer.

Finally, anyone else completely unable to post in the MW3 forums on activision's site?
 
i can't even get my founder perks. i can finally log into their website but as soon as i try to get to my profile i get an internal server error message. so frustrating.

i play a lot of kill confirmed using a silenced pp90m1 works pretty well for me

Steady aim is an amazing third perk, with an automatic weapon or shotgun anyway (And an lolquckscopes rifle). And Sitrep Pro is really good too.

Of course, HQ and Demolition are spawn camping nightmare modes, so I suppose you just look down some hallway with your Assassin and suppressor and wait for people to try to get the objectives.
 
I can't tell if hit detection is really shoddy in this or if I'm just terrible. Perhaps it's a combination of both, it gets really frustrating sometimes regardless.
 
I need to complete it on Veteran, never did complete Black Ops on veteran, usually get half-way through the campaign's and get bored once I already know what's going to happen.
 
can someone make a "CheapAssGamer" or "CheapAssGamers" clan (that should fit)? I searched for "CAG" and "CAG " and several clans came up, none with many members to suggest it being the "real" one. Also maybe Traken or another mod should make it so it is "official"


also ot lag compensation sucks. I have a meh wireless connection and it doesn't help me at all. I got 8 hit markers on one guy yesterday (counted it, usually get 3-4 when it's bad). I did end up killing him but died as well. According to the kill cam, I was shooting at him but not one bullet hit him (no red) and he kills me; he then apparently gets kill by me right after.

i just made one that i'm inviting people to called CAG Unite. you can join that one, i'm hoping people will join and i didn't just waste my clan bonus xp

I went to join but didn't see any option to join. Do I have to be paid elite to join the clan? Still on the fence about paying for elite
 
so, ive been trying to link my youtube account to elite for a week now, its been telling me for 2 days "error account already linked" but its not. so i made a new account on youtube, and its still not letting me link it. is elite/youtube linking broke, or is there a way to get this to work that anyone knows of?
 
Ah must need invite to join. Ok accepted Cag Unite invite so cag should get the 500 xp and than I will join redjoeys clan as well if he still is keeping it open but I need a new invite. When I joined Cag Unite your invite disappeared.

Edited guess you can only belong to one clan at a time so Cag Unite it is.

Got my first MOAB today, with the Striker no less, but then I made the mistake of prestiging. The early guns suck, and I really hate not having steady aim until level 30.

But I'll get my striker back to level 28 in a few days, and I'll be rockin' again.

Game still has weird lag problems and shitty spawns, but whatever. I don't know how much longer I'll play this if they don't fix it. My friends are already sick of it and stop playing after a match or two, so we'll probably end up playing just Battlefield and no CoD at all in the future.
 
Finally got some time on it. Gotta agree with a lot of the posters the multiplayer maps blow. Out of all the COD gmaes since the first MW these maps are by far the worst. The quick scoping snipers suck. Can't wait till that is fixed, they are gonna fix it?
I was having a lot of problems getting connected to matches last night. Anyone else having any issues joining games?

They'll never touch quickscoping, they put it in and they'll leave it be. A majority of their fanbase is the "super-1337" 360-quick-scoping elitists. It sucks, but it'll stay in forever and ever. In my opinion, that's one of the worst things to happen to Call Of Duty gameplay-wise.

Black Ops didn't have them (Well, technically it was possible, but it really did require skill.). Honestly, I'll buy the next CoD if it's as good as Black Ops (Please Treyarch, make it happen!), but if it's like this garbage, I'm probably done with the series for good.

I think it takes less skill to quickscope because snipers are one shot one kill most of the time. Get the reticle on a person and shoot. Notice most quickscopers also use a semi auto sniper to fire multiple times because they missed. The snipers that are prone covering an area and zoom in are fine but to run around with a sniper is just stupid. Irl you couldn't run down the street wih a Barrett 50 caliber and stop on a dime and shoot. Black ops did it right. I am also having a harder time getting kills with mw3. I usually run 1.5-1.75 k/d in cod games and I started off about the same for the first 2000 or so kills but I have been falling steadily and I am struggling to get about 1.0. (like .988 now)

I do like the support care streaks. That is a nice feature and I wish you could still have some basic kill streaks with the specialist class ie uav, care package or keep the perks for the whole game once earned.

Agreed, I picked up MW3 just to play it with friends, but I really do miss Black Ops. I hope Treyarch's gets the next game and comes up with something good.

Bite your tongue. Treyarch was in charge of WAW and BO and those IMO are the worst of the COD series.

I'm still liking the specislist package. I haven't found the perfect perk setup yet, but I'm getting better streaks than before. I'm using this a lot more than I thought I would. I thought is be support all the way.

Think of it exactly like a hash tag on twitter, just something to track a subject or topic. Tags will show up on the lobby side as the top half of a restroom sign person with a + on their chest next to the score right of that persons name if they share a common group with you.
