I'm left scratching my head as to why people would pay money to spend less time playing the game they spent $60 or $100 on. My interest in MW2 dropped like a rock once I hit 10th prestige. Not everyone has the time to sit there and play 20 days or however long it takes a person to get all the way to 10th prestige or anything. Some people don't prestige, some prestige to 10th but don't unlock everything and they just stop once they hit 10th and so forth. It is time consuming. That is why I don't play games like Fallout, they take 40+ hours to complete and even then they'll release dlc which will take more time.
Everything is optional, let people pay what they want and do you. I don't drink mountain dew and I won't be paying for codes of Double XP but I will be leveling up and playing with friends to have fun.

25 GUN kills to get the MOAB will be practically impossible, and the payoff isn't great either (only 6-9 initial kills), but it is a free 4th killstreak so I guess its not a big deal. I doubt you will see nearly as many of those as you did Nukes though.

For those who pre-ordered the Hardened from Amazon, I was able to just go to the order and change it to one day delivery for $5 extra than normal shipping.

Good lists guys...
I am not liking how the thermal is the last attachment unlock for all of those. I am assuming it is for the sniper rifles too, which personally I hate seeing as I think it is one of the only attachments I used in MW2 when it came to sniping.
I also am hoping that getting the pro version of perks takes some work/skill. I am going to be pissed if Blast Shield Pro is easy to attain. It is definitely going to be one of my go to perks since Flak Jacket and Tact Mask is one of my favorite combos in Black Ops.

I am not liking how the thermal is the last attachment unlock for all of those. I am assuming it is for the sniper rifles too, which personally I hate seeing as I think it is one of the only attachments I used in MW2 when it came to sniping.
I also am hoping that getting the pro version of perks takes some work/skill. I am going to be pissed if Blast Shield Pro is easy to attain. It is definitely going to be one of my go to perks since Flak Jacket and Tact Mask is one of my favorite combos in Black Ops.

nice list. Seems like a good mix of old and new weapons. I'm sure I know the answer to this question but I'm going to ask anyways. If I buy Elite I will get all map packs for free when they are released, correct?

I did the preorder of two of the hardened from Wal Mart. Earliest won't get to me until like 14th, after the day to set up for founder status. May try to hit Kmart tomorrow and try to get lucky, otherwise just drive around drive around next Tuesday and try to find one for me and my cuz.

Try doing it in the tower on the Firing Range map. If the other team isn't very good, you can stay up there for the entire match.

I don't know if staying in the tower in Firing Range is considered camping... It would be more considered holding a point. Regardless, the whole reason that those two are great is because you don't have to worry about random ass grenades, tactical grenade spammers, or the people that use RPGs/Tubes. Not to mention, tactical mask is awesome for clearing a room of campers, especially the pro version in Black Ops which showed you what part of the room they were in.

That used to drive me crazy trying to kill someone up there because they had line of sight but than I realized you can shot them from the spawn with the car before you enter the tunnel. S when they look out towards bomb sight b you can pop them

I'm at Kmart now and found the regular MW3 in a box on a cart and when I asked the kid in electronics if they had the Hardened edition, he said "those aren't for sale yet, I need to process everything in these boxes, come back in a half hour and I'll sell it to you.". Stepped across the street to get lunch. We will see if they are still there when I get back.

Love the scare tactics. They won't ban anyone that purchased a retail copy (eBay doesn't count as retail). I am not one for lawsuits but I would think that someone would have a court case depending on the eula esp for console ban. I guess they could mw3 server ban but it would be unfounded
According to this video (skip to an hour and 3 min), the guy says the punishment for dashboarding will be your ENTIRE progress (stats, unlocks, pro perks, etc) in MW3 will be reset back to level 1.

The Xbox EULA basically lets them ban you for no reason at all. You're likely right that they won't ban people for playing early, and they'll probably just reset your stats day 1, but the potential for account suspension and permabans is there.
