Arg no Reach Legendary. I definitely would have picked up Black Ops Prestige and Reach Legendary for $75/each. I know Reach has been cheaper but Black Ops doesn't seem to be falling as drastically, unless I'm just missing it.

Best buy had blacks ops prestige for $80 back in december

I think I remember that, but my store didn't have any, if I recall correctly. Still, it just doesn't seem to come up as frequently as Reach.
 
Just to confirm in case anyone else finds one out in the wild, Assassin's Creed 2 Collector's Edition (New) was reduced to $17.99 and converted to used at Gamestop. Mine only survived at this store so long because of a dented tin, I'm sure. Thank you to the people posting about it here or I never would have thought to check the price on it. :)
 
Didn't see it mentioned in last few pages, but DC Universe Online Collector's Edition has dropped to $59.99 at Best Buy (in store and online), even sweeter for those who have rewardzone loot to burn. Used a $15 cert to snag it for just under $50 including tax:applause:

Not saying it's an excellent or must play game or anything to that nature, just alerting the fellow collector's out there who may have been waiting for the drop.

I checked gamestop.com and couldn't find a PS3 version. Think I would have some luck at a B&M store, or price matching at Amazon?

I got the ps3 ce of lego harry potter at a b&m gamestop for 19.99 even though it wasn't listed on gamestop's website.

It's not a horrible CE since it has a decent SB case but for such a mediocre sequel it's not worth a penny more than 20 bucks.

I give Star Wars some decent leeway but even knowing the reviews it got I was pretty disappointing.

Checked both of my local Targets, no go. I heard the game isn't very good, which is why I'm hesitant to pull the trigger on the Amazon deal.

Also, did Target stop carrying CEs? My two local ones don't have any now other than Reach.

It seems as though all the recent ones were clearanced out in the past couple months.

Since they went to that new setup (which sucks), it seems like all CEs were eliminated.

Aye, so did I, as well as the FU:II CE and a few other games that have dropped $1-$5 before they showed up. I don't mind it too much, as most of them I'd rather have at a slightly higher price instead of waiting for it to drop and not get it at all.

Don't bother. GS have it for $29.99 for few months now.
 
Also with the SCC CE, it's a crapshoot on whether A. the USB drive even works, and B. if it has the bonus content on it.

FYI- A while back they released the bonus content on the website free since the USB didnt work.

Ubisoft sold this directly last year - seriously, a few weeks after the game came out - for about $31 off their website, after it came out that the USB drives were messed up and all the content was just released for free. I picked one up and traded it to BB for $32 later on.
 
Grabbed the $20 Lego Harry Potter. Nothing really special. Nice sort of slipcover if you like collecting those. Aside from that you get the extra bonus dvd and 4 small magnets for each house. Somewhat ok at $20 since the game isn't bad. I would totally be pissed off if I had bought it at the original msrp.

Ah, Amazon has already dropped it down to $29 today, also.
 
I managed to get Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Limited Edition and Fable III Limited Edition for $30 a piece brand new at my local Ultimate Electronics. The store was closing and everything was on an incredible sale.
 
If there is an Ultimate Electronics near you that's closing(it's company wide), check them out!

I also picked up the Collector's Edition of Aliens Vs Predator on Amazon for $24 with free shipping. Talk about a steal!
 
FYI: It's been pennied forever there, but if you can find it Gamestop got rid of the City Of Villians CE so you could possibly be given it or get it for a penny.;)

Any idea how much longer until they close? I only know of one near me but it's a bit of a drive to just stroll over there without knowing what the situation is.
 
I missed out on Legend of Heroes: Trail in the Sky... what do you think the odds are of it going on sale again? $40 is pretty steep for a PSP game...
 
Hey if you don't want that 360 slipcover to the Fallout CE I'd like to buy it off you. I have the PS3 slipcover but I converted to the Xbox version and would like it

You're doing it all wrong. If you want to know if your nearest Sears have them in-stock, click on the link below and select nearby store. This is how I find my copy. I was looking to pick it up for $39.99, but when I got there it was being clearance out for $13.97. I'm planning to drive 25 miles across town tomorrow to pick up the PS3 version. The site below says that they have the PS3 version in stock for $39.99. I might be lucky and get them for $13.97 again.

I'm actually planning to keep it sealed since I already have/played the regular copy. However, I'm planning to trade this copy for a Fable 3 Limited Edition. I sort of missed out on F3 LE when Target/Bestbuy had them for $19.99/$29.99 each.
 
Gamestop also has the Fallout 3 CE's for cheap, as I believe they converted them over a while back. If I remember correctly, the price was UNDER $15 for them there for PS3/360.

But huge YMMV as always.

That was a loooooong time ago. Haven't seen a FO3 CE anywhere in ages or I wouldve grabbed one... even at a higher price. NV CE's however hit 30 about a month ago, maybe less.

I just hit up Sears today and thought I had EPIC luck, but I didn't.

I saw sealed Persona 3 for the PS2 in the back of their plastic prison. The game was released with an artbook and CD, and it's freaking Persona! I asked the guy to take it out so I could have a look, but there was this giant 49.99 tag on the front.. overlapping the name. Dunno who the genius was that did that.

The guy asked me when it came out, I said it was 2006 or 2007. He then took it back to the register and price checked it saying, "49.99 couldn't be right."

Sadly, it was correct :(. No Sealed Persona 3 for me -- hell, not even a complete one.
