shame 'bout that. Are they shooting for an ROH-style business model?
No idea. There's countless videos on YouTube featuring PWG content, including a bunch of hype videos for the BOLA tournament. One of their production staffers emailed me and asked me to take them down, saying that PWG doesn't allow bootleg recordings of their live events because PWG makes the bulk of their money from DVD sales.

If I can find another place to host things (which really shouldn't be that hard), I'll get the rest of them up.

That should be a cool ppv, with two excellent scheduled main events crap head.

Of course anytime there's the possibility of a Hell in a Cell match, interest is piqued.
Aww, crap. Bad news. They're relaying last week's OVW right now. Chet the Jet has all his hair - yup, it's a rerun.
Yeah, I hope it's a mistake. I thought I had a case of deja vu when I flipped the channel and it was last week's show.

BTW, did HWA get taken off CinCW? I noticed that the 2 AM show has been infomericals the past two weeks.

For those hoping to catch Impact's replay tonight. They moved it to 1 AM due to UFC 75. Road to No Surrender airs right before Impact and has a exclusive match at the beginning.

It was on last week. I don't watch it, though. In hindsight, I have no fuckin' idea how Les Thatcher got to run a WWE developmental. His wrestlers are terrible, have no conditioning, and he's focused on some semblance of "sportz entertainment" with his program, when he doesn't even have the fuckin' wrestlers to do it with.

It's an embarrassing program anymore, man.

i think it say WITH CHAIR On your ticket if your getting a chair. i know the older ones said that on the tickets.

i think its just ringside and like the first 10 rows or less .. What is nuts if i remember its like 100 or 200 more per ticket just for the seat

Saturday WO site news update - http://www.wrestlingobserver.com/wo/....asp?aID=20664

SD did a 2.7 on the fast nationals, while TNA did a 1.2, had one of its largest audiences in history, and did so against a big football game, so Spike TV is thrilled. TNA will be announcing a two hour timeslot on the PPV, and they're talking with three former world champions, not counting Lesnar as he's apparently UFC-bound. Jeff Jarrett is talking with the Titans to see just how much Jones (the advertised partner of Killings) can do in the match. A review of Jericho's book at www.associatedcontent.com says that it's the best wrestling book written.
...................................................
TNA's ratings news is fantastic considering they'll be getting that two hour timeslot. I'm looking forward to the start date, and seeing just which former world champions they're trying to sign.

The Pacman Jones stuff is just sad, as they've pigeon-holed themselves into a match that they likely won't be able to deliver, and they haven't built anyone other than Killings up in Team Pacman, so people are going to feel cheated no matter who they have take his spot (if they go that route, they could just have him do nothing on the apron and still count as part of the team).

Yet another positive Jericho book review is excellent news for him, and at a good time, as he's once again a hot commodity in wrestling, and this only helps his bargaining power.

I actually forgot today was the day Christian Cage and Rhino were signing autographs at 3D Smoothies.

Showed up late but there was no line.

D-Von was behind the counter making smoothies.

I bought a strawberry one, they are ok, not worth the 5 dollars for a large one.

The guys were tired from the car ride over so I didn't get a chance to chat with them. Thankfully they used better quality photos this time around.

The coolest thing though is that I found out they are having KING BOOKAH there next month. I can't wait.

I think I went to a HVW (Heartland Valley or something) show a few years ago. The Iron Sheik showed up, and there was some big dude called T. Rantula or something. Really cheesy show, but I'm not sure if it's the same show you guys are referring to. It ran in Wooster, OH at some old movie theatre where they set the ring up in between of the theatre seats and the screen.

i know i'm very late to the party, but after finally getting a torrent of ecw downloaded to watch the full match, cm punk and morrison put on one hell of a match. i wouldn't put it up there with kennedy/hardy from smackdown in terms of quality, since morrison is still a bit rough in the ring, but it was still easily one of the top five tv matches i've seen this year. that split leg corkscrew moonsault was absolutely amazing.

Since Myke hasn't posted it yet, I'll already tell the guys waiting to watch OVW's show this week. As Myke posted earlier, it was a reairing of last week's show at 1 PM and he was waiting until the 1 AM to see if it was a mistake. Well, caught the 1 AM show and it's a reairing too. So Myke won't be uploading this week's OVW show.

Well that sucks

and I was looking forward to seeing Colt win the TV title off of Spears.

I can understand him. WWE pretty much fucked him when it came to that. I think we all know one place that would be happy to have a devlopement territory.

Killinz vs Booka 09 nucca.

Yeah, I was still sleeping at 11 this morning, so you beat me to it (long night of derby reffing and drinking at Oktoberfest in Covington). REALLY let down about this week's being a rerun. Maybe they didn't get the video to the CW affiliate in time?

Booker T had been contemplating his retirement for years now, and it's probably best that he does so. In his shape, he could easily wrestle for 5 more years, or 10 if he does a TNA schedule. But, as few wrestlers ever discover, retiring early is the best thing for your legacy and your health.

I'm curious to see what he has to say about WWE. Booker T and Ric Flair quitting in the same week is VERY revealing about something going on backstage, and I think it's quite clearly unrelated to the wellness policy.

Maybe or they didn't tape it/the film was screwed up.

Maybe booking? Those two really haven't done anything lately except becoming jobbers for two overhyped wrestlers. Last thing I remember Ric Flair did was get palmed to death by Khali. Booker lost at Summerslam and the next night wanted to be #1 contender and that's the last time he was on tv.

A lot of the wrestlers that were there during the attitude era have hated what they did after buying WCW. It's been too corporate & making sure the stockholders are happy than creating good stories & gimmicks.

Edit- ugh, they just added Triple H vs. Carlito to the Unforgiven card. Yet another mediocre match for a PPV that has been pretty much mediocre since it's creation 9 years ago.

Damn, I missed where Flair retired....

I'm going to miss King Bookah! I thought he had a good thing going with that. Oh well. Any chance of him going to TNA? A fued with him and Sting would be good.

well one of the main points for booker's departure was him getting a 60 day suspension for violating the wellness policy. he is one of the ones that got a 60 day for violating it twice, and when you have guys quitting because they're getting suspended, what does that show to the others that are getting suspending. IMO, booker has acted kinda immature by his actions of doing this. but, that also my opinion, and I've never seen booker as more than a mid card wrestler.

Not for the next 90 days, due to his no-compete clause in his contract. But there was word going around that his contract was expiring soon, maybe someone else can clear that up. So maybe he didn't quit and just let his contract expire like Christian did.

Flair didn't retire on tv. He basically phoned in that he was quitting the company.

Yes! Now I'll never have to see that horrible King Booker gimmick again. Let's face it, Booker's ego has swelled far too much, hopefully if he does go to TNA they just bury him Monty Brown in WWE style. The guy has become an insult to the great wrestler he once was in WCW and earlier on in WWE.
Is there any other site reporting Booker quitting?
Meltzer is reporting it, so it's likely legit. Though who knows? WWE may be able to coerce him to stay.

Somehow I doubt they'd do that. We all know TNA has a hard-on for taking WWE's sloppy seconds and turning them into champs, which is the total inverse of what WWE does to non-homegrown talent save a few special occasions.

Speaking of TNA, the "big announcement" tonight is either the announcement of Impact being a 2 hour show or a "former world champion" coming to TNA according to reports. If it's the world champion rumor, TNA is keeping it secret until tonight like they did last year with Kurt Angle.

I know... that's one of TNA's biggest downfalls. Vince almost never put over someone else's talent before his own. Well, save for Heyman's talent, and Steve Austin who had been recently fired before going to ECW.

they also apparently have a hard-on for taking no talent POS football players and throw tons of money away on them as well.

That's mighty impressive of TNA. There have been so few genuinely shocking moments in pro wrestling over the past decade, and Angle's debut was one of them.

*crosses fingers for Y2J*
You can hate on Pac-Man for being a piece of shit, but to say he has no talent is a lie. He is money when he gets on the field.
Irrelevant to wrestling, though. I'd rather they give Pacman's money to Konnan, kiss his ass to come back to TNA, and give LAX a giant push again. Man they're good.

Jericho's loyalty is to the WWE. which if he does come back, he better get the big push he deserves. plua, WWE is offering him a 7 figure salary to come back, but that's heavy rumor, so take it with a grain of salt. none the less, i'd love to see him back in the ring soon.

except for when he acts like a 4th grader and lets his attitude get the best of him. seriously, the guy has no discipline. no discipline = no talent. and that's also beside the fact that he plays on a team that's going no where fast in the NFL.

What are you talking about? You must not pay attention to football much because they finished the season incredibly stong once Vince Young took over, and Pac-Man had several key plays. His off the field incidents also mainly come in the off-season so it isn't like he isn't focused on the game when it is time to play.

They may have lost a lot of good players from last years team, but they won today and as long as they have Young they have a chance to win.

Jericho or Brock. Either or would be pretty huge for TNA, espescially if they're going 2 hours (which is essentially a given).

I had completely forgotten that TNA had been in talks with Brock. Angle's a HUGE fan of his, and has been pulling for him in TNA.
