I just dropped by my local Bestbuy, there have plenty of Saint Row 2 and a few Let's Tap. I picked up a copy each for the 21st return and rebuy. I went to the Best buy at Chicago Cicero Btw. They will come in handy for Christmas gift ruffle.

I don't see how BB can refuse someone from re-buying. If a game is returned, then it is "for sale" again. It's not like the games are evidence, being held in custody or are being inspected by CSI forensics. Shit's wack.

i just played the fairy tales fight demo, and if that game is only going to be 20 bucks.. plus my 12 dollar gift card...8 bucks may totally be worth it, i hope thats a 6th deal
 
ok, first, the coupons are "In-Store Only". second, you can buy however many copies you want. There has never been any firm evidence that people cannot take advantage of a Reward Zone offer multiple times. It hasn't been applicable w/ coupons in the past, and it certainly wasn't the case w/ the RZ text messages..

when are they going to update the freaking coupons!?!
 
I wouldn't mind getting GRan Turismo for $20, but I'd prefer a digital copy. I try and see if I cam get my local store to match the deal.

In for PMD: Explorers of Time/Darkness and GH:Smash Hits. I went to one of my local BBs and they were no copies of Saint's Row 2 :ps3: to be found. Maybe I should've looked around some more but I was in a hurry. I doesn't really matter yet since the sale doesn't start until the 21st for SR2.
 
Dammit, didn't get a chance to stop by Best Buy today. The offer on the Reward Zone page for the bonus 150 points says "Offer valid 11/16/09–12/6/09." does mean I can get it tomorrow and get the bonus points?

Actually, the games are held in custody after return. If you've done it, you've seen the blueshirt toss the returned item into a bin behind the counter after they've scanned it. Some go for a nice arc, some a line drive, some just a disdainful horseshoe toss. Points for accuracy, but style, not so much. I always cringe when I see them rifle some unopened electronics return into a bin, knowing it will probably be on the floor the next day for some unsuspecting customer.

So if you're planning return/rebuy, plan on wresting the game away from the blueshirt before they go all LeBron James on you. Or have a creative story: "WAIT, I didn't mean to return that, I, uh... meant to DONATE it. Yeah. What's going on here? Didn't this used to be the Salvation Army Store?"

well i went to the store anyway as I had to return something and they had 1 copy of smash hits upon opening. I would think they'd want to have at least a few copies if it's going to be in the ad...
 
:bomb:You guys that go in get multiple games, especially the $0 are real jackasses! The purpose of boards like these are so that we can all take "advantage" of a good deal. Can you really play 5 copies of X-Blades, etc! How about give the rest of us that actually have lives and families a chance to take get one copy and appreciate a good deal even if it is a crap game.
 
Returning and rebuying(or attempting to) on the spot won't work, if you ask me. Unless the return desk clerk is a total fuckin' idiot, they're not going to let you return a game for cash back, then say 'oh and I have a coupon(that makes it $0)' and then walk out with the game(s) you just returned for FREE.

If they do, expect not to see that dumbass the next time you hit up that BB store, since they will probably be fired.

Has anyone had any problems getting a coupon to work with a sale price? Has anyone ever stacked a RZ coupon with a non-Best Buy coupon?
 
I just went to BBY and Saints Row 2 and Let's Tap were both marked at $29.99. I don't know if this was the price they scan for, but that is the price they were marked at.

Actually the way BB got out of the xblades fiasco is by saying it was a sale price. The call center backed the store and said you can have the game for the sale price without the coupon or full price with the coupon. They were lying because the receipt would say if it were a sale item, but they wouldn't budge last time.
