Maybe I finally hit peak Steam library or maybe Fanatical peaked on good sales, but I've not been interested in a Fanatical bundle for a hot minute. Either because they suck (looking at you Warhammer bundle) or its all repeats.

This one is solid. I'd say Monster Sanctuary and Toodee and Topdee are the two I would pick if I didn't have them. Behind the Frame for a third, prob.

Both Humble and Fanatical are making me always hmmmmm thinking about bundle prices. Humble is usually Fanatical quality bundles with maybe slightly lower prices or a good bundle like the Pathfinder one, but horrible tiers. I do like Fanatical is bundling board game digital versions now, as I do enjoy playing those a bit.

Monster Hunter Build your own bundle on Fanatical with some all time low prices for expansions. If you're curious I'd jump on this now because I'd fully expect the expansions to sell out of keys quickly, they've never been available in this range before. I definitely regret buying one of the earlier deals for the DLC because it was a lot more than this. Either game+DLC is an all time low for the combo as well and honestly it's a good enough deal I'd probably recommend buying both games + DLC for $20 for anyone curious but MH:W+Iceborne for $11 is a bargain.

Yeah, I had gotten World as part of a bundle a while ago so I’ve been keeping my eyes peeled for Iceborne, and they are surprisingly stingy on discounts for the DLC it seems.

I am debating Rise/Sunbreak. I love the idea of MH, but World didn't really grab me, most likely because I was playing solo. Wondering if Rise/Sunbreak is any different, or if it's more of the same?

This is the reason why fanatical repeating humbles Capcom bundles is a good thing, because they format them as build a bundles.

I grabbed the expansions. Didn't care for the cosmetic DLC and already had the base games. Not a fan of how the pricing is structured though, I feel like an additional tier should've probably been added, and the value is kinda off. A deluxe kit dlc shouldn't cost as much as the base game or expansion, but I'm not sure if they can do anything about that with how their BABs are structured

I haven’t gotten around to Rise yet, but from everything I’ve heard, it’s the most streamlined Monster Hunter yet. The emphasis seems to be on finishing hunts quickly, with maps and a new traversal system designed around getting around fast, and new flashy combat options that, once mastered, make fights faster and easier than ever before in the series. It’s got more content than World, though I’m not sure how it compares to earlier content heavy games like Freedom Unite, 4 Ultimate, and Generations Ultimate. Probably still less, those games are stupid with content.

The trade off to all this is generally less effort put into the environments, atmosphere new monster designs, and fights.

I was wondering if souffle our another mh-knowledgable cag could help me decide between gifting world or rise to my 11yo nephew for some co-op. All this kid loves to do is play botw/totk and repeatedly fight lynels/bosses to collect drops and add to his prized collection of strong weapons. I helped him build an entry level 1080p desktop earlier this year and thought the gameplay loop of MH might be right up his alley.

Again, haven’t personally played Rise, but I think it probably comes down to a couple factors. Would you say he enjoys exploring the world and tracking down interesting details in the environment? Or is he a bit too impatient for that kind of thing, and he’d really just prefer to breeze through to the core gameplay loop? If the former, I’d say World would be more up his alley. If the latter, Rise definitely emphasizes quick hunts. If it makes a difference, Rise has some pretty flashy “anime” combat compared to most MonHun titles, so if he’s into that sort of thing, worth keeping in mind.

For the record, I would absolutely say World is the better game between the two, but I can see how Rise might appeal more to some who don’t necessarily have a strong interest in the typical MonHun gameplay loop. It’s probably not gonna feel like a completely different series, but it may feel different enough.

Man I think I bought World + Iceborne for $16 a couple months ago and I bought Rise + Sunbreak a few weeks ago for about $15. This is a great bundle for anyone interested in the games, I like the idea of them but I've yet to play them.

The Elder Scrolls Bundle

Tier 1 - $15.99

An Elder Scrolls Legend: Battlespire
The Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard
The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind® Game of the Year Edition
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion® Game of the Year Edition
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition
The Elder Scrolls Online

Tier 2 - $22.49

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Upgrade

If somehow you don't own Elder Scrolls games this is a good one to get missing pieces. The Elder Scrolls online is not worth very much IMHO without a later expansion included (maybe not the latest but the one before it).

* Please note: This Elder Scrolls Online key will require activation on your Elder Scrolls Online Account (NOT a Steam key)

I might have picked this up to give away spare copies but no Steam key for the one I'm missing and a meh price for the anniversary upgrade means I'll probably skip.

That first tier is more than I ended up paying for the physical collection I got years ago that gave me all of that other than Anniversary and online.

Doesn't ESO require the ESO launcher and account regardless of where it is purchased from? I have it from Steam and Bethesda, but have only played the one from my Bethesda account, so I'm not 100% sure.

I think it does, but I mainly want it in case Alienware Arena does another "Play X game for Y Hours and get points" again. They did a much longer promotion for this game in particular.

Basically amounts to getting Cook Serve Forever at an all time low and eight other random games (most of which have been bundled multiple times) for free. That said, I'd fully expect Cook Serve Forever to get repeatedly bundled in the future as the first three games all have been.

Fanatical is having a bundle fest today through the 13th. I'll be posting all of them as I do a good majority of the game bundles.

Good prices for lots of rebundled things and one new to bundle Recollection.

$5 for 10 of those games was a no brainer, I may only end up putting a total of 5 hours into dabbling in those 10 games but these super-cheap fanatical bundles are always hard to resist.

Cook Serve Delicious 1-3 are also excellent and worth playing in order. I think 2 was the best, but 3 had the interesting travelling food truck thing and 1 had the basic setup that is just fun and evolves over time. Really fun games for sure.

I don't own a VR headset, but this seems to have very solid games at heavier prices. Some of the best quality in a while from a build a bundle on Fanatical though.

A few of these VR games are tempting but the incredibly slow pace at which I play through VR stuff turns me off. That and $7+ for some of these games seems steep considering how long they are.

There is definitely some great stuff in this bundle, but I already have most of what I’d want. I’m considering the Quad Pack and maybe Fallout 4, but it seems that Fallout 4 isn’t a great VR translation, and I don’t really know when I’d play the others.
