Heh. I just beat Leviathan Extreme for the first time and Enbarr dropped. I didn't win it, but one dude in the group was offering people 3 million gil to not roll. :lol:

Funny thing about that, I offered my group 500k each to not roll but one person wasn't down so I just told them all to roll and I got 96. They got real mad at the one person lol.

 
Only thing that excited me was increased pony drops.  I just got all my supras done and they're adding new mainhands again.  Really getting tired of that. . .

Thats why I didnt even bother leveling DoH again on my new account, every patch requires new melds or more grind that takes a long time, like you said you just got your supras but now there will be new mainhands. Ouch.

 
Well, winners were announced for starlight and I didn't win.  Actually pretty surprised and salty given some of the 'winners' because honestly, I could have done such generic garbage if I thought it'd win but I guess creativity isn't one of the factors they judged.  Oh well, had plans for the bluebird earrings and now I wish I'd tried to win the other contest as well but didn't want to end up winning both and screw somebody.

Seriously, how they picked some of that crap is beyond me.

I'm new to FF14. Just bought it yesterday on PS4. I didn't make a character yet or choose a server. Any advice on character class and suggestions on a server? Is there a CAG FF14 group?

 
Didn't you win some previous screenshot contest? Maybe they want to spread the winners around. Or maybe they just weren't crazy about your entry. :p

Oh I know, I wasn't satisfied with it myself but by comparison I'm just like, wtf? I mean, some of the entries were great, ones I even liked so there's a lot of quality winners. But when I saw a few of those that literally took the person like two seconds to throw together and no thought involved, it just makes me sad. They just better have those earrings during the valentines day contest because I think I'm going to use one I took last year and didn't enter with.

 
So word to the wise, if you're about to kill a boss in coil and a member is disconnected: don't.  The way they added the helper system is complete shit and calculates chests upon death.  It's a countermeasure against people bringing in a helper and having them d/c before a kill for full loot to the group.  IF SE was worth a shit, they would have implemented the system to identify the helper at the start and lockout a second chest for the duration of the timer.

You get five minutes for the person to reconnect to the game before it spawns the chest, but one group has already lost their second chest on T13 because of this 'feature'.  My hatred of this idiotic dev team grows each day lol.

I still don't have the Onion Knight after running ST 100+ times trying, yet on my second run of WoD and first time the puff dropped, I won it.  I guess the game was making up for being such a cunt to me in ST lol.

 
Yeah the Puff dropped on my second and third times through WOD, I won on the third trip with a 97. I wonder if it's just a more common drop. I do have the Onion Knight but it took dozens of runs.

I got Onion Knight last saturday doing weekly quest, rolled 99 :D But i still cant understand why some ppl keep waitting to roll believing that last second roll will increase their chances Haha. I clicked asap it appeared and got it.
 
It's not that they think they'll get a better roll. They're drawing it out as long as possible so other people get tired of waiting and exit without rolling.

Yeah that too, but i've read some comments like that, anyway its stupid in both cases :p
 
Okay got the story... Three hour downtime and the only acknowledged fix is the ability to take the red French maid outfit and dye it other colors...

THIS IS FINAL FANTASY.
 
Could just check out ibuypower or have a friend build one for ya.  I love this trend happening now where consoles are trying to be more like PCs and PCs are trying to be more like consoles lol.

 
I dunno about ibuypower... The reviews I've read make it seem like they have an issue where they put in too small of a power supply which causes them to break. I plan on building one eventually when I have the time and money to burn.

The reason why I like the Alpha is because it's only $500 and when I replace it years down the road it will make a nice multi media center PC for my living room.

Some weathers are so random, when i log and ser any of them I try to complete, but i'm stuck on first 20 challenges :eek:
