Free Xbox 360 Games (from Trainn...who is updating slowly)
The reason the return process was tedious before was because the gift return process was faulty, it had nothing to do with people taking advantage of anything. It has since been fixed and there hasn't been an incidence of error in returns in a long time.
That's not quite true. I did indeed speak with Trainn months back, and they said Amazon started sending them the GC's due to the mass amount of GH returns. This was a bit of a runaround for CAGs trying to get their GC's.

I changed it though, since others have came in here and said it's fine now.

I don't want anybody bitching in here if they somehow don't get their GC's (or have to jump through hoops to get them).

^^ I agree with Rig, I've done it, but I knew there used to be an issue so if something screws up, I know it's my fault. I'd hate to see posts of people complaining about lost refunds and say that it was seen in the OP lol.
I don't remember if they refunded the first time, but it has credited for me twice now nearly instantly.
How is that possible? I didn't know you could complete the same offer more than once.
Does Zooba ALWAYS refund the 9.95 or whatever back after you cancel? and has anyone ever need a MCR?
I don't know about the refunding part because I actually bought books but I DID have to wait the full 10 days for the MCR to credit.

Irregardless, I don't believe it's him.
Irregardless isn't a word ;)

Got my Rock Band Drums. Waiting on the GH2 still...

Rock Band drums "shipped" today. Ordered 03/23, shipped 03/27. We'll see how long it takes for them to really be shipped/arrive.

Are games coming more quickly than GH3/RB drums? Just curious, I took a long break from this site. I have one more MCR to go through before I can order Rock Band, and I'm hoping that'll come quicker.
has any ordered gh2?? from where are they shipping it? (recently)
Yeah, I ordered mine on march 1. No idea where they shipped it from, because it hasn't arrived yet....
How is that possible? I didn't know you could complete the same offer more than once.
You can't.

I did it once for YF360G, and I'm doing it again for the free PS3 one.

The only threads I have seen for the Free PS3 trainn site was just a conga line. And since there are a lot of PS3 deals that used to be on the 360 site, I'm still hanging out in here.

After a couple weeks of support tickets my "replacement" GHII came from Redoctane.com

They responded to my support ticket. The gh3 they said was "shipped" last monday, actually wasn't. But obviously they have shipped it since then, and it should arrive tomorrow (friday). /holds breath

I called Disney today, and they charged me because they thought I had already received the first item. Therefore, they enrolled me in their club. I pulled a Lee Corso and said, "Not so fast my friend." I have a feeling that this is going to be a big headache for me.
dang still nothing on eMusic
No Credit
No emails
No charge

Its been almost 3 days now... How long does it typically take?
I signed up for eMusic for a $500 ticketmaster gift card last week and it credited for me in 2 days, I have to admit I was worried at first too cause there was no email or anything, but it worked out.

But yah I'ts been awhile since I've been on the Free 360 site. Thinking about jumping back in cause my wired guitar broke and I miss it. What is the wait time for Guitar Hero II or is it possible to get the Guitar Hero III wired bundle.

Has anyone tried to contact Pacific Webworks in the past few days? Their 1-800-497-4988 number seems to be disconnected. Does anyone know of any other way to contact them?

I didn't know you can do that. That means another cheap offer is available for me :D

woohoo, 4 mcrs went thru today.

now to return the carebears (i cancelled?) and dr. suess and zooba crap.

and my sega superstars tennis shipped out today. not sure what i want now, guess i'll wait til the april update. :D

Yes, but you have to use a different email address, otherwise, the offers will not allow you to "repeat" them. If possible, I recommend using a different phone number, too - only because I had osme...interesting cancellation phone calls.

And, as I posted many pages ago, this is perfectly okay according to Trainn's own rules. As long as you are not using different email accounts for the same site, you're fine.

I was having problems two days ago, where it put me in limbo or would hang up on me.

I called yesterday and had a super long hold time. The nice CSR found my account (Google and eBay Auction, even though I was only canceling google SEO) and before I had a chance to confirm, my cell dropped the call (I was driving home from work and hit a dead zone). I called back, and the office was closed.

I called back again today, and confirmed that even though the call was dropped, both accounts were cancelled.

But, I was calling just before they were closing, so that may explain why the hold times were logn for me.

I just signed up for this site but none of the offers will work for me. I get to the credit card page and none of my cards work. I tried 3 different ones, 2 Mastercard and 1 Visa. The offers I tried were Stamps.com, Yahoo Success Center, and Zooba. If anyone can help me understand why these offers won't accept my cards it would be great.
did you order a book?
I didn't order a book, but i did this a while back, so it might have changed.

I tried to do Bidz today but when i clicked on it, it brought me to a site called ShopperAwards.com. Does this happen with anyone else or just me?

Are the MC/VISA cards you're using credit cards, debit cards or gift cards?

If they're credit cards, you should have absolutely no problem.

Yes the two Mastercards are both credit cards that I just got within the last month. The Visa is debit though, I wasn't too surprised it didn't work but I can't figure out why the other two didn't work. On the one card a pending card showed for the $1.95 (Yahoo) but never went through.
Does Zooba ALWAYS refund the 9.95 or whatever back after you cancel? and has anyone ever need a MCR?
To answer your question from last night, I didn't check my spreadsheet.
I emailed Zooba on the 26th, received an email confirmation on th 27th. My bank has been credited with the money already.

For some reason, I thought I hadn't cancelled yet - sorry about that. I think it was because I emailed instead of called that I thought I hadn't cancelled yet.

So, that is two insta-credits, two refunds for me.

I have been meaning to email Train about this. On the PS3 side, there are several offers that do this: Cheat to Lose diet, Nutrisystem and eMusic. The Children's Book Club also takes you to Stamps.com instead.

Bidz is doing that on the PS3 side now, too.

Just a warning about Zooba, i did that offer late last year and when I tried to cancel, they informed me I needed to buy 3 books in order to cancel, contrary to some members of CAG who report they were allowed to cancel without completing the member requirements.

it does say in their terms that you have to buy 3 books to cancel but, the next line says if you are unsatsified you can return the book and cancel with a refund.

i know it says that but what i am saying is that some people in this thread claim they were allowed to cancel without buying a book and having to ship it back
i know it says that but what i am saying is that some people in this thread claim they were allowed to cancel without buying a book and having to ship it back
Yeah, some people are lucky, some aren't.

I don't know why it credits instantly for some people, and others not at all, and why some people can cancel with no hassle and others can't.

Is there a guarantee that you are signed up for the piggyback offers? I did grant consultant a week ago, didn't get any e-mails from the piggyback offers, and was not charged by any of them. Should I still call them?

I dont remember getting piggybacked by Grant Consultant, than again it was a while ago.

It seems that if you call and cancel Zooba, you dont have to buy books. That's what i've seen in here so far, but that's not in ironproof statement.

I love how people come on here looking for guarantees when companies are free to change their policies at any time. All we can tell you is what worked for us. It's no "claim" that some of us were able to cancel without ordering any books. Some of us did the Zooba offer over 6 months ago. At that time, even cancelling through email was no problem. Could things have changed since then? Sure! It's up to you to decide if the reward is worth the risk.

I'm just going by what the second post says.
