Windows 8.1 has made every other browser broken.Firefox?
Maybe its just my comptuer or somethign, but IE is SO TURTLESHITTING SLOW. I would hate to have to use that
see above, really have no choice until other browsers are allowed to work on windows 8.1.
Weird; I've been using Chrome forever in 8.1. No issues at all. I use both it and IE.Windows 8.1 has made every other browser broken.

It comes with a DRM-free download, and activates on Steam? That's a first.Oh yeah, I meant to mention, MysterD, check out the drm on this.
Yeah, first time I've seen this. Good way to cater to both of GG's audiences. Somewhat often GG's sales aren't worth mentioning since they have a DRM-Free/direct-download version where we are expecting steam keys.It comes with a DRM-free download, and activates on Steam? That's a first.

Nod. Not making your customer rebuy for another platform is the right thing to do. e.g. for that game I'd also point out that it's available on the humble store, which will also net you the Android version (and Mac/Lin drm-free) when they are released.Nice!!
Especially for something sold on a digital download distributor!
I expect DRM-FREE Version download + Steam key activation when buying from dev's directly, which is what some Indie dev's do like Fullbright does w/ Gone Home; and sometimes from game-bundles (on HB, Groupees, etc ).

I'll have to give it a try, I haven't tried it again since updating to 8.1.It has? Someone better tell my PC Firefox isn't suppose to work on it.
Oh GG, increasing the MSRP again.http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-TOTDOK/typing-of-the-dead-overkill
Typing of the Dead: Overkill $6.80 before 20% off.
Anybody here ever play Last Remnant? That game's always intrigued me.http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-TLR/the-last-remnant-tm
http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-SONICCD/sonic-cd
Sonic CD or The Last Remnant are $2.50.
I played it, but only about an hour. The game mechanics are somewhat... I don't know how to call it, maybe bizarre, but in the good sense. Is not a game you can play between games so easily, that's why I abandoned it until I finished some other games. I should get back to it sometime soon.Anybody here ever play Last Remnant? Uh, the game's MSRP on Steam and Gamersgate is $20.Oh GG, increasing the MSRP again.
It was 73% off of $24.99 when he posted that.Uh, the game's MSRP on Steam and Gamersgate is $20.
66% off $20 is 13.20. What do you have left? $6.80.
Since the fiasco last year, GamerGate's new method seems to be to put a game up for a select price point and then backfigure the sale from there. So, instead of accidentally doubling the 75% sale on a $20 game (20-75%=5-75%=$1.25 Oops!) they would go $5 + 300%+300%= $80 game at 94% off or something silly like that.Uh, the game's MSRP on Steam and Gamersgate is $20.

Well, seeing as I don't have a console, this is one of the few JRPGs for pc I know of.I played it, but only about an hour. The game mechanics are somewhat... At that price, just grab it, if you like that kind of games (I do)
it happen feew times already they had it sale for 85cents for front misson evolve and 2.13 for cchivlry soSince the fiasco last year, GamerGate's new method seems to be to put a game up for a select price point and then backfigure the sale from there. That's just for an example but the upshot is that you can see some strange MSRPs and discount percentages until they work out that day's bugs.
Not myself, sorry. I do have a friend/coworker who has every achievement in the game on the 360... That's about 250 hour process while following a walk through so you don't make a mistake... So there is certainly something in the game to love. (The game can be finished much quicker than that and is unique enough to consider playing/owning at that price if you like JRPGs. .)Anybody here ever play Last Remnant? That game's always intrigued me.

This is such an amazing deal, I can't help liking it every time it comes up (I bought this when it first came out on GG at $20 and it was a great deal then!)D&D Anthology Master Collection if $5 again (75% off):

everytime this happens it makes me so fuqing salty i bought all these games on gog for 20 bucks and still haven't touched them and probably won't for awhileD&D Anthology Master Collection if $5 again (75% off):

Incredible price for that bundle. I bought it on Gamestop at that price, but their backup system is broken since 1957 and they always say "we are fixing it" xDD&D Anthology Master Collection if $5 again (75% off):

Includes DRM-FREE Versions of:
Planescape: Torment
Baldur's Gate 1 (base game) + Tales of the Sword Coast (expansion)
Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn (base game) + Throne Of Bhaal (expansion)
Icewind Dale 1 (base game) + Heart of Winter (expansion)
Icewind Dale 2
Temple of Elemental Evil
I own ALL of these from retail, except BG1: Tales of the Sword Coast expansion.everytime this happens it makes me so fuqing salty i bought all these games on gog for 20 bucks and still haven't touched them and probably won't for awhile
That said, this is a phenomenal deal. Every game in here is pretty high quality, and some of them (BG 1/2, Planescape Torment) are amongst the greatest and most influential rpgs of all time
then u be master of buying many timee hheI own ALL of these from retail, except BG1: Tales of the Sword Coast expansion.
The good thing if I re-bought most of this - it'd be a hell of a lot easier to download & install from Gamersgate; and store them on my external HDD's; plus they'd all be DRM-FREE.
That sure would beat having ALL of these games on TONS of CD's (which is how I bought them, ages ago).
One problem is - I really don't know when the hell I'd actually take the time to replay any of these.
The other problem is - I know sometime down the line, I'd probably end-up buying BG1: Enhanced + BG2: Enhanced - meaning, if I bought from GG and then bought the EE editions later on, I'd have actually bought the BG series NUMEROUS times!
Yeah, buying games numerous times can be annoying.then u be master of buying many timee hhe
Yeah, but still...it's never gonna get cheaper than this, and even if you look at BG 1/2 as a sunk cost, that's five bucks for Icewind dale 1/2 , planescape, and TOEEI own ALL of these from retail, except BG1: Tales of the Sword Coast expansion.

All of which I already own at retail:Yeah, but still...it's never gonna get cheaper than this, and even if you look at BG 1/2 as a sunk cost, that's five bucks for Icewind dale 1/2 , planescape, and TOEE
Yeah - if I didn't own 95% of this already, I'd probably instantly jump! Can't beat that
you're looking at less than a penny/hr that you're spending on the entertainment you could get out of those four games
GIven how many games you have from retail I feel like it'd be worth five bucks for this reason, lolI'm still tempted, just so I don't gotta dig the discs out for many of these.
Hmmmm, for all them D&D games - wow, I think I remember some of them.WHAT STORE??????
I remember I bought some PC games at a KB Toys outlet in Texas a good 20 years ago now? Phantom of the Opera, Gazillionaire, and a really great football game that I can't remember. In giant boxes. I never shopped EB or Gamestop too much for PC games since I always found them to be too expensive. I might have bought Stubbs the Zombie there though. I used to do Circuit City for PC games before they closed. It's where I bought Ubersoldier.Hmmmm, for all them D&D games - wow, I think I remember some of them.
BG1 (base game) -> It was EB Games, IIRC.
BG2: TOB -> See above. But, I specifically remember buying it from a EB down when I was on vacation in Pensacola, Florida. It was bundled w/ the Brady Guide for $20. I looked at it - and the damn things both looked like they barely been touched. And I remember asking the clerk if I could return it to a local EB in my area (in Massachusetts), if I had any issues. This was back when they were selling some PC games in the USED section; before DRM became a thing.
BG2: TOB -> Ahhh, my local WalMart's - back when they carried a good assortment of PC games.
Planescape: Torment -> Dad bought that as an XMas Present for me, that year. Bought it from GameStop for around either $25-30 + free shipping, IIRC.
TOEE - I bought it from KB Toys, when they were going out of business and clearing out everything. Real cheap - I think I paid like $10 or so for it.
Icewind Dale Collection (IWD1 + HOW + IWD) -> Gogamer.com had it. I think I spent like $25 for it or so.
