GFC is Back in Business! Worldwide Package Forwarding & Item Ordering Services ^_^.

1) Direct Request (DR) Services - The service that started it all, our Direct Request (DR) Service allows you to buy just about anything you want from the USA and have us order it and ship it directly to you. This is perfect for those of you who are unable to buy from USA merchants that will not ship to Canada directly or who do not accept Canadian/International credit cards. We charge $2.00 per item ordered plus shipping. Additional fees apply for items weighing more than 5 pounds shipped or more than $150 USD in value. Our online form will calculate everything for you automatically and there's no obligation to buy anything until you check out with Paypal. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about our services.

2) Package Forwarding (PF) Services, Address & Rates - [PREMIUM SERVICE] If you want to order the items yourself, you can! You can order from any website that ships to the USA. Ship the items to our secure UPS mail box and we will repackage them and ship them to you in Canada (or any other country for that matter). Typical fees apply for this service as usual and you pay only $1.00 per package received at our mail location. Quick, easy and GREAT for limited-time sales when the Direct Request option may not be quick enough. Please note we cannot ship: meat, cigarettes or other nicotine items (including electronic cigarettes and their accessories), alcohol, weapons or gun accessories (including paintball/airsoft), pornographic materials, toxic chemicals (including several cleaning liquids), fertilizer or any items that are illegal to ship internationally. Also, any items containing NI-CD or LI-Ion Batteries can no longer be shipped via USPS (Laptops, cell phones, handheld game systems, etc.) and must be shipped via UPS instead. If you have questions about a particular item, please contact us first before ordering.  You will receive an Email invoice with PDF attachment explaining line-by-line details of all charges and full payment options. GFC PF Service Requires Premium Membership which costs $10.00 a month or $100.00 a year (discount of two free months) and is available in our GFC Store. Full details on website.

3) GYROS Updates - After you have ordered your items, filled out the forms and notified us of your order we will add your items to our GYROS page (generally within a week or less). Once your items have been received, we will invoice you for the shipping costs + our service charge. After receiving your payment, your items will be shipped out to you in a timely manner and you will receive an Email with all relevant shipping information ^_^. If you have any questions feel free to Email us at [email protected] .

Service Charges (Free Members):

GFC Charges $2.00 per item forwarded for standard or "Free" Members. Please note that an item in this case refers to each item within the packages you ship to us. So if you were to order say 2 DVD Movies, an Umbrella and a Towel, this would count as 4 items total. Items that are sold in "Lots" such as multiple baseball cards will be counted as one item, subject to our discretion. Also, UPS Charges me to pick up the packages, so there will be an additional charge of $1.00 per package received. I will add into the invoice for you when I get your iitems in.

For larger orders, an extra $5.00 USD surcharge is added for each 5 pounds your package weighs OR per $150 in value of their total contents (example: a 5 pound package would cost an additional $5.00 USD, a 10 pound package would cost an additional $10.00 USD OR a $150 item (or group of items totaling $150 or more) would have an additional $5.00 USD charged, a $300 group of items would have an additional $10.00 USD charged). Please note that this will be either a weight or cost surcharge and not both, but the greater of the two will be what is charged. An item weighing 14 pounds will still only be $10 added as it didn't yet reach the 15 pound mark. This will be shown on your invoice and will be clearly explained. In the near future, this service charge will be automatically calculated for package forwarding items the way it is currently automatically calculated on our Direct Request 2.0 system.

So Again the things to remember:

1) Ship to the address above
2) Ship all packages in my name (James Parks) and if you want to include your information as a “Gift Message” on the order, you certainly can do that. This is required though to be in my name as the UPS store will only sign for packages in my name and will refuse all others.
3) You MUST fill out the Direct Request (DR) form on the link above to let me know what’s coming
4) Once I receive your DR submission and all your items, I will invoice you for the shipping cost plus service fees.

Estimated Shipping Costs:

The following are shipping estimates for standards weights. This will give you a pretty good idea of how much it will cost to ship your item to Canada. If you live in another country, feel free to inquire by contacting us directly.

For all items from 0 - 4 pounds we typically use USPS First Class Mail:

$00.00 = 0 Pounds / Digital Items
$09.00 = 6 ounces
$09.00 = 7 ounces
$09.50 = 12 ounces
$11.00 = 1 Pound
$16.50 = 2 Pounds
$22.00 = 3 Pounds
$27.50 = 4 Pounds

For all items from 5 pounds and up we typically use USPS Priority Mail:

$38.00 = 5 Pounds
$40.00 = 6 Pounds
$42.50 = 7 Pounds
$45.00 = 8 Pounds
$47.50 = 9 Pounds
$49.50 = 10 Pounds
$52.00 = 11 Pounds
$54.50 = 12 Pounds
$57.50 = 13 Pounds
$55.00 = 14 Pounds
$62.50 = 15 Pounds
$60.00 = 16 Pounds
$63.00 = 17 Pounds
$70.00 = 18 Pounds
$72.50 = 19 Pounds
$75.00 = 20 Pounds
$77.50 = 21 Pounds
$80.00 = 22 Pounds
$83.00 = 23 Pounds
$85.50 = 24 Pounds
$88.00 = 25 Pounds

For any items over 25 pounds, we'll have to manually invoice you.

On Hold & Unclaimed Merchandise:

GFC allows you to send items to our secure UPS Package Forwarding address (listed above). After you order your items it is your responsibility to properly fill out our Package Forwarding (PF) Form on our website located here: http://www.gamesforcanada.com/package-forwarding.php . Once you do this, we will be notified of the items you have ordered and you will pre-pay the shipping/service charges up front for us to process and re-ship them to you.

The first 30 days are free to hold all Package Forwarding items. This is plenty of time for you to successfully order from the various stores that you want and submit our PF form to notify us. This also allows for adequate time for you to request us to combine items into a single package.

After 30 days, there will be a $5.00 USD charge per ITEM per week (flat rate fee) until the payment has been paid in full. Since you are pre-paying for the item costs, you will be responsible for both shipping to your country, our GFC Service Charges and any processing fees associated with the transaction.

After 90 days, GFC will not be responsible for unclaimed or missing merchandise sent to us at our Package Forwarding address. We suggest that you fully insure all orders sent to our address in case of loss or damage as we will not be responsible for missing or damaged goods.

Woot! You won my eBay auction. I fully expected to get outbid with a $25 bid, not win it for the minimum :D

I guess I'll blow my leftover monies and fill out a DR for a FFXIII faceplate too ;)

Apollo, haven't gotten it yet but it should be here any day now. I'll let you know :) The GYROS page doesn't lie.

Ragnar14, I know isn't that awesome? I was thinking it'd probably go a little higher as well. Gotta love sniping! I will send you the invoice for the faceplate as well later on when I get home from work (8 PM EST-ish). Thanks!

No worries, goomba.

Actually, GYROS does lie ... somewhat.

I paid the additional shipping on 02/05, yet according to the GYROS page I have not. ;)

Okay well you caught me there :) GYROS does lie sometimes for payment status, but never for shipping status. Because as soon as I receive items or ship them out I do update that. The payments I admit are sometimes a bit behind but in my Quickbooks system (which I use to actually determine when things are going out) they're 99% up to date at all times :) I will update the GYROS for you hehe. Sorry!
Swagbucks are really easy and no I don't have any swag codes right now, but they're not totally necessary either. You get so many of them just using searches and such and if you refer more friends all the better. You are more than welcome to use my referal as well :) Thanks for the question! I think you'll like the service, it's an awesome way to earn Amazon Gift Cards and you can use those 1:1 in our GFC store for our services :)
If I'd like to add Amazon.com funds to my account how can I go about doing that? I've got 2x $5 Amazon GC atm that I'd like to put in, granted that I still haven't found anything that I'd want to order from the States  (end up finding deals up in Canada) but I'm sure it'll come in handy someday.

Well unfortunately the $9.00 extra for priority shipping turned out to be a waste because it still hasn't shown up and my father left today for 3 months :(

Which is odd, because I live in suburb bordering with the city of Toronto. If the package can't make it within the expected time to pretty much the closest major city center, when does it EVER make it on time (let alone at the optimistic end of the range.)

Kind of a crappy feeling to take those extra measures and still not be able to give him his parting gift

Myv, the easiest way to do it is just to PM me the codes along with your personal information (full name/ Address / Email address) and I will apply them to your account in our software. Next month there will be a place on the website for you to dynamically add funds to your account either through Paypal or Amazon GC's, etc.).

Pat, yes I did :) I will go through it tonight when I get home from 6:30 PM.

emjaymj, I'm really sorry to hear that! I have a feeling the multiple snow storms in the Northeast effected this :( really sorry man. I would have shipped it to his destination address if I thought it wouldn't get there in time. Bummer man, I hope you understand I really did try to get it there in time. Mail unfortunately isn't yet a science as it seems somewhat random in terms of customs and delivery dates. My deepest apologies man.

That will be an awesome feature to look forward to! In the meantime I've just sent my info with the codes to your PM box, tell me how it works out  Thanks!

Thanks Myv. Yeah, I'm excited about the next upgrade steps too for the GFC webpage. It's really just a big learning experience: taking everything you guys want, everything I need to work and finding the best medium for it. In time we'll get everything down so it's clear, concise and easy for everyone (at least that's the goal).

I will go ahead and apply your credits in my system and they will be available for you for all future orders :) Thanks!

No worries, I'm not the blamey type. Most of the reason it feels so crappy is I pretty much end up laying the fault of all this stuff at my own feet. Oh well... next time I'll know better than to trust something time-sensitive to international mail...

Yeah definitely. National mail in the USA is like clockwork. I could set my watch for my local packages and I can ship to California and expect it to be there in 3-4 days, but for international mail there are just too many factors. This is why I don't really offer any shipping guarantees or delivery dates. It's a bummer for sure, but most of the time mail to Canada is fairly regular. Holidays and snow storms and Olympics aside :)

Yes I did telepathy :) I will process all new DR's tonight. I just got back and picked up almost 45 packages worth of stuff (a TON of items came in today thanks to the long holiday weekend). I will be spending the next 6 or 7 hours packing and invoicing so no worries, I'll get to it ASAP ^_^ Keep an eye on GYROS updates tonight guys, lots of items are in!

Let's just say I have tired arms, a very full Prius car and a lot of trips up and down the stairs. Needless to say I earn my Service Charges :)

Think of all the money you're saving by not having to go to the gym!

Excuse my broken English, do you mean "I typically count it as a single item" or "I typically count it as a shitload"? I can't understand what you mean by saying "a lot" :whistle2:(

oh okay sorry for not being clear. If the item is a group of items (called a "lot") on eBay then typically I'll treat it as such. So if you were to order say a 5 book set for Harry Potter to me that's one lot (only counts as one item). If it weighed 5 pounds though, then I'd charge the additional $5.00 service fee on top of the normal fees. So yes, in most cases I would count it as a single item.

There are exceptions. But if you have any specific questions about a particular item or group of items just let me know :) Thanks Setite!

Thank you very much for the explanation. Please delete the DR I've sent, I'll make another one soon. Sorry for the trouble. I like the new processing system a lot, it is much much better than the old one.
BTW, if I were you, I would rename that "submit" button to "login". I think "submit" might confuse a few customers.

kathos, no but your items are shipping today. They are next to be processed so you should receive the Email soon. Not my package that you missed though sorry to say.

Setite, I already sent out the Direct Request invoice. If you want me to delete it I certainly can. Oh and I like the suggestion about the LOGIN button instead of Submit. I'll update that soon. Thanks!

Yeah, please delete it. Sorry for being such a troubling asshole v_v
BTW, I'm going tomorrow morning to pick up the package with the controllers and the boots ^__^ I will leave the feedback at once.

Setite, no need to be so hard on yourself. I'll go ahead and delete it for now. I'm glad you like the new system though. I'll be making it better and better as soon as I catch up on everything (and lose my second job in April). Glad your other package is in. Hope everything made it in tip-top shape!

Myv, not a problem buddy. I will lay out all the services more clearly very soon :)

I have one more question. You've mentioned before it is possible to transfer money to you via amazon gift cards. How exactly is it done? Should I simply choose "email a gift card", then enter the required amount and your email? Or are there some more details?

Setite, it's like this: You just PM or Email me any Amazon Gift Cards you have and I credit your account in my system 1:1. So if you send me a $10.00 Gift Card for Amazon.com, then you will have $10.00 credit with GFC. Simple as that :) And yes, you can just Email it directly to me from Amazon.com if you like, that's always an option too. You have lots of options.

As mentioned earlier, this will be actually listed on the site with the March updates but in the meantime feel free to PM or Email any codes. Thanks!
And yes, you can just Email it directly to me from Amazon.com if you like, that's always an option too. You have lots of options.
I'm afraid that is the only option for me because amazon won't ship physical gift cards to Russia. I'll try this way of payment next time I make a DR.
Oh, and I got the last package today. My jaw dropped when I saw the box. Now I understand why it took you so long to find a box of appropriate size. Everything is in perfect condition as always, thank you very much goomba :D I've left you a feedback.

Not a problem. Email from Amazon is totally fine :) works for me. This is good too because I believe you can pay with a credit card which gets around the whole Paypal fee issue as well.

I'm glad the box made it to you! Yes it certainly was a big box ^_^ I appreciate the feedback. Unfortunately, the many, many, many cardboard boxes in my tiny place have become a sore subject with the wifey. I'm working it out with her but let's just say she's not exactly keen on our house looking like a warehouse =P At least once I'm doing this semi-full time I will have faster turnaround times and hopefully less cardboard in the living room =)

Quick question, goomba, to see if maybe you would know. Is there a reverse service similar to yours? I want something that's only available in Canada and want to have it shipped to me in the US. Can you do that? Or do you know a company that does?

I think plenty of us are willing to do stuff like that occasionally, assuming it's something simple to grab. You just gotta ask. Maybe post a thread in Deal Requests?

tlwizard, that's funny that you ask that because I think you're the first (or possibly second) to wonder that. What was it that you wanted to order from Canada? I don't know of any companies off hand but I do have quite a few Canadian friends now, so maybe we can make something happen for you =)

Every service I find however only offers package forwarding from the US to Canada. If you have some viable options, feel free to PM me, and thanks for responding.

Are any of you guys here interested in helping tlwizard? If so let us know =-) I won't be heading to Canada anytime soon so if you'd like to help order something from amazon.ca be a buddy and speak up. Thanks guys!

Apparently the virtuous attitudes of the Olympics have rubbed off on us Ragnar whether we like it or not :p I'll drive to vancouver and play you in a rock paper scissors match for it though, ha.

I will admit though, if the item is small, you would probably do it better. I don't think I have any bubble mailer (I might, so don't quote me on that), I generally ship my computer stuff out in boxes. I really should be like Goomba and entrepreneur my computer consultation/fixit skills...

//rant: Why the hell does the guy who knows more about computers than all these n00bs (lulz) with certificates and degrees can't take a practicuum and prove he's better for the job then these other guys? Freelancing this stuff is hard because people generally don't trust me, or trust my advice. I seriously always walk buy computer shops and stores, and piss off salesmen working on comission by telling the customer they're overcharging them AND giving them an overpowered system. If I could somehow advertise that I'm good, I'd almost kill to have it as a side job, and it'd definitely pay my school bills better than what I do now consistantly -- I may actually have a good sum of spare cash.

Seriously, WHO CHARGES $200-350 to "remove" a virus (basically just wiping it)?! If you advertise removing it, ACTUALLY REMOVE IT, and don't trust Norton!

//End rant

Sorry, I just went and fixed someones computer today using string, spare metal that I bent, and copper wire. I then preceded to give them a "free" upgrade by changing out some fans to make it perfectly silent, and I always get worked up when I always get neglected from anything -- and everyone on my facebook knows what I do

^ you can get bubble mailers at any dollar store.

I'd do it except I'm moving soon and the whole address change might screw things up.

Hey there tkszeto, I will go through my new packages that just came in today (A lot of Amazon ones). I will update the GYROS as I go along :) Thanks!

tkszeto, in case you didn't read your Email or re-check the GYROS look at what showed up today: I think the reason it took longer than you'd expect is that it was shipped by Amazon but not sold by them (it was an affiliate seller using Amazon's Shipping Services). The good news is they're in, they've been packed up and will ship out first thing Monday morning. I'm going to go and pack up your TRU ones as well and will have those out to you Monday as well. I'll invoice you if your credits are not enough to cover everything. Thanks for your patience. Hope you like the train sets!
I'm among the willing too.
Ditto, I can handle a decent amount of items being thrown my way and redirected to the U.S.

I've been using ebay for most of my life.

BTW Goomba, never heard anything back from you in regards to the lowballs I won. I'm assuming you're just swamped still, so just let me know.

Hi there gsrce, for the lowballs you just had to follow the payment instructions on the site. If you need my payment information let me know. I will be shipping out all of lowball items out this weekend that have been paid for as well :) Thanks.

With the dollar the highest it's been in awhile I figured now was a good time to put a preorder in for a game that's coming in late march. Gamestop.ca has it listed for $50 while Amazon.com has it for $37 so it's a no brainer, especially since the patetic amazon.ca still dosn't have it (and many other games I want) listed

I'm not very happy about some games being $5 more still here but at that point the differnce isn't worth the fuss.

Hi Goomba,

It took some time to complete my order on toshiba's website, but it finally get through.

My order is #889.

I will be sending a tracking # in pm. As by this tracking number, you should have received the package on february 17th.

Did you get it? Is something wrong happened?

Thanks,

Jonat
