GFC is Back in Business! Worldwide Package Forwarding & Item Ordering Services ^_^.

1) Direct Request (DR) Services - The service that started it all, our Direct Request (DR) Service allows you to buy just about anything you want from the USA and have us order it and ship it directly to you. This is perfect for those of you who are unable to buy from USA merchants that will not ship to Canada directly or who do not accept Canadian/International credit cards. We charge $2.00 per item ordered plus shipping. Additional fees apply for items weighing more than 5 pounds shipped or more than $150 USD in value. Our online form will calculate everything for you automatically and there's no obligation to buy anything until you check out with Paypal. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about our services.

2) Package Forwarding (PF) Services, Address & Rates - [PREMIUM SERVICE] If you want to order the items yourself, you can! You can order from any website that ships to the USA. Ship the items to our secure UPS mail box and we will repackage them and ship them to you in Canada (or any other country for that matter). Typical fees apply for this service as usual and you pay only $1.00 per package received at our mail location. Quick, easy and GREAT for limited-time sales when the Direct Request option may not be quick enough. Please note we cannot ship: meat, cigarettes or other nicotine items (including electronic cigarettes and their accessories), alcohol, weapons or gun accessories (including paintball/airsoft), pornographic materials, toxic chemicals (including several cleaning liquids), fertilizer or any items that are illegal to ship internationally. Also, any items containing NI-CD or LI-Ion Batteries can no longer be shipped via USPS (Laptops, cell phones, handheld game systems, etc.) and must be shipped via UPS instead. If you have questions about a particular item, please contact us first before ordering.  You will receive an Email invoice with PDF attachment explaining line-by-line details of all charges and full payment options. GFC PF Service Requires Premium Membership which costs $10.00 a month or $100.00 a year (discount of two free months) and is available in our GFC Store. Full details on website.

3) GYROS Updates - After you have ordered your items, filled out the forms and notified us of your order we will add your items to our GYROS page (generally within a week or less). Once your items have been received, we will invoice you for the shipping costs + our service charge. After receiving your payment, your items will be shipped out to you in a timely manner and you will receive an Email with all relevant shipping information ^_^. If you have any questions feel free to Email us at [email protected] .

Service Charges (Free Members):

GFC Charges $2.00 per item forwarded for standard or "Free" Members. Please note that an item in this case refers to each item within the packages you ship to us. So if you were to order say 2 DVD Movies, an Umbrella and a Towel, this would count as 4 items total. Items that are sold in "Lots" such as multiple baseball cards will be counted as one item, subject to our discretion. Also, UPS Charges me to pick up the packages, so there will be an additional charge of $1.00 per package received. I will add into the invoice for you when I get your iitems in.

For larger orders, an extra $5.00 USD surcharge is added for each 5 pounds your package weighs OR per $150 in value of their total contents (example: a 5 pound package would cost an additional $5.00 USD, a 10 pound package would cost an additional $10.00 USD OR a $150 item (or group of items totaling $150 or more) would have an additional $5.00 USD charged, a $300 group of items would have an additional $10.00 USD charged). Please note that this will be either a weight or cost surcharge and not both, but the greater of the two will be what is charged. An item weighing 14 pounds will still only be $10 added as it didn't yet reach the 15 pound mark. This will be shown on your invoice and will be clearly explained. In the near future, this service charge will be automatically calculated for package forwarding items the way it is currently automatically calculated on our Direct Request 2.0 system.

So Again the things to remember:

1) Ship to the address above
2) Ship all packages in my name (James Parks) and if you want to include your information as a “Gift Message” on the order, you certainly can do that. This is required though to be in my name as the UPS store will only sign for packages in my name and will refuse all others.
3) You MUST fill out the Direct Request (DR) form on the link above to let me know what’s coming
4) Once I receive your DR submission and all your items, I will invoice you for the shipping cost plus service fees.

Estimated Shipping Costs:

The following are shipping estimates for standards weights. This will give you a pretty good idea of how much it will cost to ship your item to Canada. If you live in another country, feel free to inquire by contacting us directly.

For all items from 0 - 4 pounds we typically use USPS First Class Mail:

$00.00 = 0 Pounds / Digital Items
$09.00 = 6 ounces
$09.00 = 7 ounces
$09.50 = 12 ounces
$11.00 = 1 Pound
$16.50 = 2 Pounds
$22.00 = 3 Pounds
$27.50 = 4 Pounds

For all items from 5 pounds and up we typically use USPS Priority Mail:

$38.00 = 5 Pounds
$40.00 = 6 Pounds
$42.50 = 7 Pounds
$45.00 = 8 Pounds
$47.50 = 9 Pounds
$49.50 = 10 Pounds
$52.00 = 11 Pounds
$54.50 = 12 Pounds
$57.50 = 13 Pounds
$55.00 = 14 Pounds
$62.50 = 15 Pounds
$60.00 = 16 Pounds
$63.00 = 17 Pounds
$70.00 = 18 Pounds
$72.50 = 19 Pounds
$75.00 = 20 Pounds
$77.50 = 21 Pounds
$80.00 = 22 Pounds
$83.00 = 23 Pounds
$85.50 = 24 Pounds
$88.00 = 25 Pounds

For any items over 25 pounds, we'll have to manually invoice you.

On Hold & Unclaimed Merchandise:

GFC allows you to send items to our secure UPS Package Forwarding address (listed above). After you order your items it is your responsibility to properly fill out our Package Forwarding (PF) Form on our website located here: http://www.gamesforcanada.com/package-forwarding.php . Once you do this, we will be notified of the items you have ordered and you will pre-pay the shipping/service charges up front for us to process and re-ship them to you.

The first 30 days are free to hold all Package Forwarding items. This is plenty of time for you to successfully order from the various stores that you want and submit our PF form to notify us. This also allows for adequate time for you to request us to combine items into a single package.

After 30 days, there will be a $5.00 USD charge per ITEM per week (flat rate fee) until the payment has been paid in full. Since you are pre-paying for the item costs, you will be responsible for both shipping to your country, our GFC Service Charges and any processing fees associated with the transaction.

After 90 days, GFC will not be responsible for unclaimed or missing merchandise sent to us at our Package Forwarding address. We suggest that you fully insure all orders sent to our address in case of loss or damage as we will not be responsible for missing or damaged goods.

jonat I will be going to the UPS store on Monday/Tuesday this week so I assume your package should be there :) I only get them 2x a week, so don't worry I should get it early this week :) Thanks.

Goomba, do you know if amazon.com accepts a non-us credit card? So say if I had gift cards and they were applied to my account, would I be able to buy from amazon and send to your address?

Rogan is earning brownie points =) Well done my friend. Thanks for your help in answering questions for me! And yes as far as I know there are no problems with International credit cards on Amazon.com. Thanks buddy!
tkszeto, in case you didn't read your Email or re-check the GYROS look at what showed up today: I think the reason it took longer than you'd expect is that it was shipped by Amazon but not sold by them (it was an affiliate seller using Amazon's Shipping Services). The good news is they're in, they've been packed up and will ship out first thing Monday morning. I'm going to go and pack up your TRU ones as well and will have those out to you Monday as well. I'll invoice you if your credits are not enough to cover everything. Thanks for your patience. Hope you like the train sets!
Awesome, thanks so much Goomba. I didn't realize that one of the items was being sold by an affiliate seller, but it does explain why it took so long. I can't wait to give those to my son, he'll enjoy them I'm sure (okay, I'll play with them too :D).

Hey there goomba. When you have a little free period (few and far between, I know!) why don't you drop me a line about what your up to just now.
I have some things I want to run by you. ;)

Thanks for the reply, but I was waiting to pay to see what happened to that item that was going to be ebayed, wasn't sure if it was a wash with the cost to ship items to me, or there was a remaining amount to put towards the lowball items I won.

Just let me know what to pay =)
Hey Goomba, do you have an estimate of what the total cost for this would be? http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/Pro...7&sourceID=FKSJxY2VJAk-P.9_SCXqipShyEDJw1.rxw
Goomba tried finding those awhile back, since the price drop, I don't ever recall hearing him finding any. If he did/could, however, those things are 1.5 lbs or so... that's about $8.50 give or take a buck.

Random note: Holyshit shadow hearts 1 and 2 are now worth over a hundred bucks new? Wtf?! I have like 8 copies of that game since I bought them for everyone and told them to play it because they refused to rent it... and totally never did ha

Ah, thanks for the reply Rogan. Too bad, the plushie is cute. If Goomba ever runs across one while it's still at $20, I think I might like one. I think it's $50+tax in Canada.

very good game

Winnopeg so glad that it worked out! I am working hard to get as many packages out this week as possible. I have almost 50 order coming in this week and lots of new ones too. Busy, busy. I haven't been in the chat or Email as much lately because just working to get things caught up :)

I was downtown checking out things today when the game was going on and ended. Half the city was literally stopped at every TV in sight. It was nice -- all the streets were empty for the game basically.

Except, the second we lost, there was basically a riot in every intersection dissing either brodeur (the goalie) or USA :p

I was almost waiting for a riot, ha. But, atleast, I can say I've seen what there is to see, and Im going to try to go to the Billy Talent concert this week (since it's the only free concert I relatively like for a band... Why did they neglect all our local bands that play on our rock station all the time?!).

Although, there is one thing that makes me absolutely pissed off about the Olympics. I understand the consumerism and convenience factor, but who in their right minds sells hot dogs for $10?! We have hot dog stands lining the street, and the ones near Rob. Square (the main street) was selling them for $10, and the ones by the concert $5. I went to every single hot dog stand tot ry and find one selling one at a reasonable price because I REFUSE to pay into capitalist b.s. A hot dog should NEVER be over $3. Even for $3, I may have accepted because I was really craving one, but when there are subways and quiznos everywhere, I can get a 6" sub (more food, arguably healthier) for the same amount. I was almost offended at them trying to think I would actually buy a hotdog for $5 (they got one ready as I walked up).

It's almost like that Disney Land syndrome, except, it's like there is relatively good fast food places in Disney land that isn't McDonalds along with slightly more expensive restaurants. You can't say "look at all the free stuff, but we're gonna cash in on the food" when you have chain restaurants and food places all around you -- it doesn't work like that. Mind you, at that price, selling one hot dog would probably make them break even at that price, but you'd probably sell more at less.

The flame was kinda cool, little smaller than i thought it'd be. Most people didn't know how to use my friends SLR though, so most of the pictures were blackened. Atleast, there were some cool fireworks at night.

I do though kinda feel sorry for Ragnar. I know he lives in Vancouver, and if he lives anywhere near the event, it'd suck miserably. They have concerts playing until midnight (with the lights shining into the blindless rooms), and fireworks at 11PM right next to a bunch of apartment buildings.

All in all, it was kinda cool, but I really don't see a need to spend my time in 6 hour line ups to see the medals, torch, or go on the free zipline (which I've heard mixed stories that it will be open until the paralympics or not). So, if you don't stand in lines, it's basically "what you make of it". While you could argue that about many things, after seeing the flames, there isn't really much to do beside watch a couple street performers, wait for the fireworks, and go to a free concert. So, if anyone here in BC is going, I definitely say go with your best group of friends that are the most outgoing.

And if you really want to do something, make sure to be there atleast 6 hours before it opens because chances are, everyone else is already there waiting.

Hah, I'm nowhere near close enough to have any of the problems. I'm way up at 41st. Although I haven't even had a chance to go downtown myself yet... I was planning on going down and might have seen you (not likely ) if I did, but I stuck around the house for the game instead. What a disappointment that was.
Except, the second we lost, there was basically a riot in every intersection dissing either brodeur (the goalie) or USA :p
Dammit, I was dissing Brodeur through the entire game. Seriously, letting a goal in 40 seconds into a game? Luongo should've been put in after the second goal, it was pretty clear then that Brodeur wasn't in top form...

RoganSarine, GFC Secretary and now blog writer :) That was a really fascinating piece man. You're actually a very good writer and very descriptive as well. I actually worked at one of the Disney "Fast Food" restaurants for a year down in Animal Kingdom and you're right, the food quality is actually outstanding. We had one head chef, around 10 cooks under him and a staff of almost 50 people so it was far from just a McDonald's type place. Good food but a standard meal would run $12 or so. But a lot better deal than just getting a hot dog for sure =)

hey goomba, I was wondering if you could do a deal on a copy of Left 4 Dead 2, I'd just need the code to activate it on steam. I'd like to see what it will cost because I need to find some funds for paypal

Hey there JamesC_ I have exactly one copy left of the PC version of L4D2 sealed. If you want to buy it I will sell it to you for $32 USD. Thanks!

Shipping would be quite a bit more I'd think, I'm in the UK :p

The currency conversion is annoying me, I have £20 available right now, and according to xe.com thats $30.955. I'll try figure it out what it will be exactly before I agree.

EDIT: Paypal says $30.15 is £20, so looks like its a lot under what you're asking.

Oh okay I didn't know that you were in the UK :) If you want just the code now you can send me what you have in USD and we can work out the rest in the future if you want to ship the actual game over to the UK. Let me know!

Not a problem I will gladly hold the copy for you. If you want to send a partial payment now for the funds you do have I can send you the code now if you're itching to play it :) Thanks again.

Just a note: Remember that XE.com is using the current money conversion down to the exact time.

From my knowledge, all currency conversion costs an extra 2% ontop of that which is why paypals conversion is always 2 cents under that of xe.com's closing date price...

Which I realized you noticed in your post edit :p

Guys I am heading on my way to the UPS store (an odd thing considering I'm not working at my University today) to pick up your packages. I hear it's going to be snowing Tuesday-Thursday here so I want to be sure I get as many of your packages as possible. GYROS updates tonight around midnight. Thanks!

I wanted to go to the zipline but I don't really feel like wasting/waiting 6 hours standing around. I mean I do that at work already.

Actually, it's 2.5% that's tacked on. Kind of like most credit cards.

Hey goomba, I ended up placing another order and sending the paypal payment over the weekend. Am I supposed to get a confirmation email later on? Cheers.

firehawk12, don't worry. All weekend orders will be added to the GYROS either tonight in the next 20 minutes or tomorrow. We had a bunch of new orders come in this weekend and we are processing them all, whether or not they have been added on the site is another issue :) We always process them in the order we receive them of course. Thanks so much for your support!

Haha no that's not the problem ^_^ The problem is more the pile of packages filling up my entire house :) Working three jobs (University/Casino/GFC) simultaneously is a bit much but as mentioned in April that'll no longer be an issue. I'm doing alright but I do appreciate the notion.

GYROS are more of a convenience thing to let customers know where they stand. It's not 100% real time but it's the closest thing :) I appreciate it though.

The problem is that GYROS tend to go hand-in-hand with shipping, because really I update them when I receive items in the mail, when I receive new orders and when I ship items. These are all kind of hard for outsiders to update since I'd have to relay the information to you to let you know where I am on the orders :) and really it only takes a second to update GYROS. The priority is simply on the shipping of items and GYROS second. I'll get it all smooth though ^_^ I'm already updating it several times a day whereas it used to be once a week or whatever lol. I am trying to update it as soon as I get a new invoice typed up, when I ship out items and when I receive items.

You'll see =) I have made a lot of progress!

I'm off to bed now guys. I have completed all Direct Requests up until mid Sunday. I will have the rest processed tomorrow :) Only like 6 or so to go but I have to work in the morning so I don't want to cut my sleep too much. Today was a busy day trekking across state back and forth but it worked out quite well. Glad to see lots of new RFD customers and some more European customers and Australians too. Looks like GFC really will have to develop a sister-site with a more global name soon. Thanks for all your support guys!

Hey Goomba!
I was looking around redflagdeals for a US forwarding service and stumbled across you! You seem to be quite full-handed right now...are you still accepting parcels to forward to canadian addresses? I live in Vancouver, BC.

Tiar: Yes, he is. He's always this busy... It's like christmas for him everday (Except, he's santa)! So make his day better and order more stuff :p If you got any questions while he sleeps, feel free to ask.

Goomba, I know you're busy, dunno if you missed my reply to your post though =p

On another note, not sure if anyone missed the SFIV pad sale going on.

B1G1 on SFIV Comic Con exclusive fightpads.

Cost is $39.99 plus shipping for two pads. They only ship to the U.S.

I'm going to order 2 360 pads and have them sent to Goomba, so if anyone wants the second let me know =)

(Or if you want two for yourself, I'm sure Goomba could hook you up while quantities last!)

Edit: Looks like I took the last 360 pads. Only PS3 left now. As I mentioned, if you want the second 360 pad I'm getting at cost let me or Goomba know.

tiar, welcome to GFC! Glad you found us through RFD and somehow managed to find us here as well. We're happy to have you! We are indeed busy but never full-handed. We will gladly take your orders and help you get the items you want :) Just head over to our website and we will get back to you ^_^ Thanks so much!

RoganSarine, the best secretary duck a goomba could ask for. I will definitely find a way to reward you in the near future =) Thanks!

gsrce, that's an unbelievable deal. Thanks so much! I really appreciate that. Also, if you don't know you can go to their website and sign up for their newsletter for a free 10% coupon. You get it instantly and can get use it for the order. Such a great deal. Too bad that the Xbox 360 ones sold out so fast but I appreciate it!

100% of all Direct Requests have been sent out. If you didn't receive an invoice (and your item is not a lowball item or a self-order/UPS order/package forwarding item), please let me know. I'm going to work now but I will be home around 9:00 PM today and will be shipping out a bunch of new packages that came in. Thanks guys!
