GFC is Back in Business! Worldwide Package Forwarding & Item Ordering Services ^_^.

1) Direct Request (DR) Services - The service that started it all, our Direct Request (DR) Service allows you to buy just about anything you want from the USA and have us order it and ship it directly to you. This is perfect for those of you who are unable to buy from USA merchants that will not ship to Canada directly or who do not accept Canadian/International credit cards. We charge $2.00 per item ordered plus shipping. Additional fees apply for items weighing more than 5 pounds shipped or more than $150 USD in value. Our online form will calculate everything for you automatically and there's no obligation to buy anything until you check out with Paypal. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about our services.

2) Package Forwarding (PF) Services, Address & Rates - [PREMIUM SERVICE] If you want to order the items yourself, you can! You can order from any website that ships to the USA. Ship the items to our secure UPS mail box and we will repackage them and ship them to you in Canada (or any other country for that matter). Typical fees apply for this service as usual and you pay only $1.00 per package received at our mail location. Quick, easy and GREAT for limited-time sales when the Direct Request option may not be quick enough. Please note we cannot ship: meat, cigarettes or other nicotine items (including electronic cigarettes and their accessories), alcohol, weapons or gun accessories (including paintball/airsoft), pornographic materials, toxic chemicals (including several cleaning liquids), fertilizer or any items that are illegal to ship internationally. Also, any items containing NI-CD or LI-Ion Batteries can no longer be shipped via USPS (Laptops, cell phones, handheld game systems, etc.) and must be shipped via UPS instead. If you have questions about a particular item, please contact us first before ordering.  You will receive an Email invoice with PDF attachment explaining line-by-line details of all charges and full payment options. GFC PF Service Requires Premium Membership which costs $10.00 a month or $100.00 a year (discount of two free months) and is available in our GFC Store. Full details on website.

3) GYROS Updates - After you have ordered your items, filled out the forms and notified us of your order we will add your items to our GYROS page (generally within a week or less). Once your items have been received, we will invoice you for the shipping costs + our service charge. After receiving your payment, your items will be shipped out to you in a timely manner and you will receive an Email with all relevant shipping information ^_^. If you have any questions feel free to Email us at [email protected] .

Service Charges (Free Members):

GFC Charges $2.00 per item forwarded for standard or "Free" Members. Please note that an item in this case refers to each item within the packages you ship to us. So if you were to order say 2 DVD Movies, an Umbrella and a Towel, this would count as 4 items total. Items that are sold in "Lots" such as multiple baseball cards will be counted as one item, subject to our discretion. Also, UPS Charges me to pick up the packages, so there will be an additional charge of $1.00 per package received. I will add into the invoice for you when I get your iitems in.

For larger orders, an extra $5.00 USD surcharge is added for each 5 pounds your package weighs OR per $150 in value of their total contents (example: a 5 pound package would cost an additional $5.00 USD, a 10 pound package would cost an additional $10.00 USD OR a $150 item (or group of items totaling $150 or more) would have an additional $5.00 USD charged, a $300 group of items would have an additional $10.00 USD charged). Please note that this will be either a weight or cost surcharge and not both, but the greater of the two will be what is charged. An item weighing 14 pounds will still only be $10 added as it didn't yet reach the 15 pound mark. This will be shown on your invoice and will be clearly explained. In the near future, this service charge will be automatically calculated for package forwarding items the way it is currently automatically calculated on our Direct Request 2.0 system.

So Again the things to remember:

1) Ship to the address above
2) Ship all packages in my name (James Parks) and if you want to include your information as a “Gift Message” on the order, you certainly can do that. This is required though to be in my name as the UPS store will only sign for packages in my name and will refuse all others.
3) You MUST fill out the Direct Request (DR) form on the link above to let me know what’s coming
4) Once I receive your DR submission and all your items, I will invoice you for the shipping cost plus service fees.

Estimated Shipping Costs:

The following are shipping estimates for standards weights. This will give you a pretty good idea of how much it will cost to ship your item to Canada. If you live in another country, feel free to inquire by contacting us directly.

For all items from 0 - 4 pounds we typically use USPS First Class Mail:

$00.00 = 0 Pounds / Digital Items
$09.00 = 6 ounces
$09.00 = 7 ounces
$09.50 = 12 ounces
$11.00 = 1 Pound
$16.50 = 2 Pounds
$22.00 = 3 Pounds
$27.50 = 4 Pounds

For all items from 5 pounds and up we typically use USPS Priority Mail:

$38.00 = 5 Pounds
$40.00 = 6 Pounds
$42.50 = 7 Pounds
$45.00 = 8 Pounds
$47.50 = 9 Pounds
$49.50 = 10 Pounds
$52.00 = 11 Pounds
$54.50 = 12 Pounds
$57.50 = 13 Pounds
$55.00 = 14 Pounds
$62.50 = 15 Pounds
$60.00 = 16 Pounds
$63.00 = 17 Pounds
$70.00 = 18 Pounds
$72.50 = 19 Pounds
$75.00 = 20 Pounds
$77.50 = 21 Pounds
$80.00 = 22 Pounds
$83.00 = 23 Pounds
$85.50 = 24 Pounds
$88.00 = 25 Pounds

For any items over 25 pounds, we'll have to manually invoice you.

On Hold & Unclaimed Merchandise:

GFC allows you to send items to our secure UPS Package Forwarding address (listed above). After you order your items it is your responsibility to properly fill out our Package Forwarding (PF) Form on our website located here: http://www.gamesforcanada.com/package-forwarding.php . Once you do this, we will be notified of the items you have ordered and you will pre-pay the shipping/service charges up front for us to process and re-ship them to you.

The first 30 days are free to hold all Package Forwarding items. This is plenty of time for you to successfully order from the various stores that you want and submit our PF form to notify us. This also allows for adequate time for you to request us to combine items into a single package.

After 30 days, there will be a $5.00 USD charge per ITEM per week (flat rate fee) until the payment has been paid in full. Since you are pre-paying for the item costs, you will be responsible for both shipping to your country, our GFC Service Charges and any processing fees associated with the transaction.

After 90 days, GFC will not be responsible for unclaimed or missing merchandise sent to us at our Package Forwarding address. We suggest that you fully insure all orders sent to our address in case of loss or damage as we will not be responsible for missing or damaged goods.

Hey Goomba i sent you a message about the DVD+R DL's I wanted to change the address to a different one if possible because I am in transition of moving, all info is in the PM I sent you unless you sent it already.

You are very welcome my friend. Oh and in case you thought I forgot about you guys (from not posting on here today), not the case :) Just furiously packing, cleaning my house and making crepes (in that order). Emails will continue to be sent as item are packed.

I have a few of you who have ordered multiple items (not you Telepathy ^_^) who have not paid for shipping yet. I will be packing up your items today and giving you updated invoices if I have your items. Thanks!

lol funny, (btw, started playing muramasa. It's a wicked game, & currently will be tanking it within the next few days). i also remembered u mentioned you have contacts in japan. so if i sent you a DR w/website/name/price/etc. you would be able to get it ordered & shipped?

BTW goomba, I thought I would mail that package to Canada for you today, but there was a typhoon blowing through today so I got it out yesterday just before they closed. It should get there fairly soon I think. Maybe a week or so?

telepathy, I'm glad that you're enjoying Muramasa! It's currently my favorite game on the Wii (even if people complain it gets repetitive, I find it's actually quite deep in the combat and sword-making areas) and GORGEOUS to boot. Oh and yes to the Japan services :) dv8mad (who posted right after you interestingly enough) is my main contact in Japan ^_^ and I do all the paperwork side of things. He's extremely good at what he does :) so yes, contact me directly with DR's for Japan and I will get them for you one way or another generally speaking.

dv8mad, no problem man! I heard about the typhoons in Japan on the Weather Channel so of course I understand. Take your time, be safe and ship it when you can. I appreciate your extreme professionalism, but take it easy :) no rush. Thanks again for everything you've done ^_^ I will make you a business partner slowly but surely haha.

Oh i remember him, he's the one who organizes the lowball stuff. I wish him good luck on his paying off his debts (i read the blog post). He definitely sounds like a stand up guy from what i can tell. I wonder, do you think he could get some stuff that isnt found on websites or stuff from auctions like you do sometimes?

(& so far i dont find muramasa to be repetitive for the reasons you mentioned. the combat is so fun, frankly i dont care at all & the story seems pretty cool so far. now time for me to go back to playing it lol :) )

telepathy, yeah I agree. I wasn't saying it was repetitive. I've just heard a lot of other people claim that it was or that the fighting was flawed. For me it's the perfect mix of side-scroller/action/beat-em-up/RPG and I love it to bits. As for auctions, as far as I know he can probably bid on things like Yahoo Japan auctions and what not. I am pretty sure he's ordered from there before. But yeah, dv8mad is a REALLY awesome guy. One of my all-time favorite CAGs :) Just let me know what you want and I will do my best to work with him to get it for you. Thanks!

Thanks, that's really great to know. ive seen a number of things in japan ive wanted but the problem has always been how to get them over here lol.

Yup definitely. Things from Japan are NOT cheap, but there are some truly unique things you can't find anywhere else (not to mention really unique gaming items). So if you play your cards right then you can get some really awesome things for a lot less than a trip to Japan or paying through the nose on game import sites or eBay. dv8mad is the man :)

Hey Goomba, I don't know if you would be able to estimate it, but does it seem right that this costs only $20 to ship within the US, but $115 to ship to Canada?

Hey Goomba, I know you had an insurance claim recently, so I was wondering if you have any idea how long it takes?

One of my lowball auction sales came in today completely wrecked (thankfully, not yours... These are just cannon fodder games that I just wanted to try but still). The boxes on both sealed games are completely broken, destroyed, and the artwork is a freaking mess. I think the discs are still in 1 piece though. I'll just bias-ly praise sony and say the Blu-Ray storage capacity is inferior to snapping because I have no idea how honestly the boxes could get this fucked (quite an appropriate word in this case) but the manual and gamedisc are fine at a glance.

Do I have to return my package? Do I get reimbursed? What's the deal? I'd like simply to get reimbursed for the package, and HOPEFULLY find somewhere that I can buy a playstation 3 case so I can just print off some artwork.

Sorry to hear that Rogan. I know that if you ask BBV/EB nicely, they could supply you with spare PS3 case, I've done so several times in the past. Otherwise, you can get a Uncharted 2 preorder at BestBuy/Futureshop which is like $5 and they give you a PS3 case with a bonus unlockable code inside.

I was going to go preorder Uncharted 2 tomorrow at BB... Will they still accept the preorder being only a like 4 days in advance like EB?

The case thing is good to know... I guess it just enforces and encourages me to go because I can reprint the art (just it'd be nice to have the original stuff), but they better not say that I don't get reimbursed at all.

By the way, doesn't best buy only have the preorder bonus code? Or does FS also have it now?

Gombay, that's definitely overpriced. It probably costs about $50-$60 at most to ship to Canada I would assume (I doubt it weighs more than 20 pounds, but I could be wrong). If you know the exact weight of the item I'd be happy to give you an invoice estimate :)

RoganSarine, Insurance claims totally depend on where they got it from. Typically you have to wait 10-15 days minimum for claims. If the item is cheap enough the company typically will give the money faster. If the item was improperly packed though the insurance company typically won't cover it (there are a lot of small restrictions like this in the fine print of most insurance policies). Also, what game is this? Just curious. PS3 Blu-Ray discs are nearly invincible (one of the reasons I often buy PS3 version over Xbox if the games are virtually identical). Let me know :) And insurance doesn't cover shipping costs to my knowledge so sending it back wouldn't help much. Let me know what game it is, I'm curious!

Rogan, yes I think you can still pre-order from BB and other stores no problem as long as they have the tickets out for sale. They'll just basically hold a copy for you. If you need a replacement case I can probably hook you up with your next order as well. I'm good like that to my friends :)

I was at my local FS and they were selling the identical preorder as BestBuy, they both should include the code for the golden weapons. They should be in stock but it will vary by store.

Azumangaman, I have good news for you. I just received this info from Amazon:

We now have delivery date(s) for the order you placed on August 31 2009 (Order# *******-9093829):

Joseph Cotten, et al "The Third Man [Blu-ray]"
Estimated arrival date: October 15 2009

Looks like we're in business. Woo Hoo!

As always, I got your back :) Each one of my packages I send out is like a little baby I'm sending out into the world. It's great to see them all making their way out in the world and growing up with their rightful owners ^_^ Glad you are enjoying your purchases and look forward to hooking you up with more in the near future. Thanks again for your support my friend!

Yeah, really the only thing that didn't come in was the cards we ordered from eBay. Not sure why they're taking so long. I will have to write to the seller on eBay to see what's going on. The rest of your items have mostly come in and shipped out though. The DVD sets in particular gave a bit of a challenge because of the size/weight of them but I managed to get boxes for all of them. If you have any items in particular you were curious about let me know :) Thanks!

Hey Goomba,

Can you order stuff from Yahoo Auctions Japan or Japanese websites ? How does your Japanese consignment work and how much are the fees ?

picture.php

It looks worse on the other side -- the plastic is broken directly down the spine also, it can't close since the snap things are busted, the whole entire plate behind the disc is smashed, the the front plastic that holds the game art is basically cut. It's almost as if someone intentionally tried to break it.

The instructions and disc are fine, so it isn't really THAT big of a deal, I just want the insurance company to do something about it because I don't care how easy it really is for me to fix (since the 2 most disposable parts are bust).

RoganSarine, you can definitely make a case for the insurance (even though the disc is fine, the whole case itself is not so the product is damaged obviously). I would contact the CAG who shipped it and find out if they purchased insurance. If they did, then send them the photo and ask them to make a claim for you. They should have no problem getting the money I would assume as long as it was packed well enough (bubble mailer, etc.). Good luck and let me know how it goes!

Cool, i cant wait till they get here. I'll also need to ask you to quote an approx shipping for something (from japan) so i can decide if i want it later tonight.

Well, Amazon says it's 28 pounds for the premium set. But I just want the core set which doesn't have any cymbals. They're 4.2 pounds each and there are two of them on the premium, so the core set should be 19-20 pounds. Not sure what the dimensions of the box would be though.

nice, I'll keep that in mind if I need to get something ordered there!

Future Shop pre-order is not the golden weapons. It's a dynamic XMB theme.
Which one gives me the box? :p Bestbuy?
I know Future Shop does for sure as I got it there. The card for the XMB theme is inside the box. Best Buy might too.
Hmm... How does the theme look Firestorm? It may be more worthwhile then some stupid guns.
but you can show off your pretty guns in multiplayer, it must be good for something!

I can see them making the theme available on PSN in the future (prediction) but the golden weapons may not, could be worth more on ebay later on

Who would seriously buy a code (I thought you can't seel codes on ebay unless you send them a physical code) off of eBay? I'm sure there are people, but I can't imagine anyone buying it for more than $5 whereas a premium theme you may have to pay for down the road, and if it looks good, it beats my Resident Evil background.

No idea I haven't put it in. I don't think it has been activated yet. So far the only way to get it is to pre-order at Future Shop. The US doesn't have this bonus.

People have sold PSN items on ebay for some decent money, I've seen playstation home costumes go for $15-20 because it was only available via preorders. If the FS exclusive theme is indeed exclusive, there may be a strong demand for it online.
Juggernaut code from Marvel UA2 is selling for $30 on ebay right now lol.
OMG wow, & here i thoughtlessly got the game, downloaded the code, didnt even play the game, & brought it back to eb so i could preorder the next gaming gurantee.

Wow, are people actually buying it? I got like 4 codes (my brother accidentally did the thing where he got multiple codes for canada without knowing they'd give him 4).

Hey guys I'm home at last (11:30 PM...wow, can you believe they kept me not only my whole 8 hour shift but overtime too. I totally wasn't expecting that). Looks like you have a lot of messages for me here so here are some responses ^_^;;:

Gombay, for 20 pounds you're looking at around $54.00 shipping to Canada with Priority Mail. Let me know!

Tetsugen, yes you can get into my "members club" ordering clothes or whatever you like :) I don't play favorites!

RoganSarine, it's true you're not supposed to sell codes on eBay, but people do anyway. If there is a physical card with the code on it, you can sell and mail that and a lot of buyers will just ask for the code over Email. So it's a grey area, but definitely happens.

Afrodiziak, that's insane. I wish I had known that it'd sell for so much and I would have bought a copy lol. Though Wombat's review didn't exactly make the game sound all that great, so it's probably best I didn't.

....

Goomba, I'll probably go for it (the drums), but I'll have to get back to you in a couple weeks because I have to set up paypal with my new bank account and get some funds in there.

Thats right you arent supposed to sell codes but they really dont care about it. The worst that ebay will do is take your item down. Then you could just relist it and state you will ship it and they cant do anything about it.

I have sold over 100 xbox codes online and the only troubles I ever ran into were people trying to scam me by stating "my code didnt work". About 3 people tried that and for all of them I stated that I make sure all codes are active via the xbox dashboard code inputing thingy and then if they still "cant get it working" I would tell them I will get a hold of xbox and figure out what happened and have them trace to code to figure out what happened. This scarred them into dropping their scamming act and the code magically worked every time.

Just wanted to randomly jump in here and say that the wonderful looney is a super high of .96! Soooo good deals in the US just got better!

(All you guys probably already know this but I need to say it somewhere! :p)

Heya goomba, I'm looking for both the Raving rabbids wii titles and pokemon battle revolution. If you see any on the cheap can you let me know? Thanks.
