This looks to be a coupon all Power up rewards *PRO* members will receive some time in the next few days. It will be valid from 8-30 to 9-2. To be clear you WILL nee to be a PRO member to receive this, this is not the coupon for renewing, merely a coupon going out to ALL pro members, and will be good for the small time period.

It is mentioned in the "Xtra Points" section of the poweruprewards.com website, and a survey can be done regarding your interest in it, although it is not mandatory from what I can tell.

Seriously, in Deptford, NJ, there are 2 Gamestops in the Mall, one across the street, one in the other mall not even a mile awhile and a Target and Best Buy right next to the mall as well. Also a Sears in the mall. And a Toys R Us across the street from the mall as well! I go there on my day off after I drop my girlfriend off as she works 10 minutes away from there.

Trust me, I don't do much traveling, lol.

I really don't even flip as hard as some of you guys do. Lately i've just been buying cheap games form GameStop to trade to Amazon. I really need to rebuild my GS credit, lol.

The best was when they were giving $40 for Zelda and Fire Emblem 3ds while buying it for 27. I made a lot just going to those 4 gamestops and keep buying and trading to the other ones, lol.
I can back you up on that as I'm familiar with the Deptford mall area. 15 minutes is only a slight exaggeration.

But I got it for $13 and love the VITA, Im still giving it a shot. Will let you know how the turnout was. :cry:

I loved all three back in the day as well. Thats why Im excited to return back to it.
The Vita issue is overblown IMO. It isn't perfect, but the game is still quite playable and enjoyable.

Finally caught up on this thread. One thing I didn't see mentioned and i'm not familiar with is the bby trade in program. Is there a limit to how many of the same game you can trade in? Based on post there didn't appear to be.

I have some extra GS credit that I would like to move over to bby to pay off my xbox one, so any advice is appreciated.
if i remember right, you talked about going to the liberty gamestop, so if you ever go to the liberty best buy, you can trade in two of the same game/different platform at one time, but two of the same game, same platform is about 50/50. ive had some people say they cant do it and some not even care. like someone else said, i think its 3 per title per year, but ive traded in more of black ops 2 than that and been ok, but ive also bought quite a few copies there (that i traded to gamestop)

man, I really wish that I had more GS credit, or a BB near me.  The best deal I can seem to find at my GS is Splinter Cell Blacklist X2 and TLOU but I really dont wanna spend $80 cash (I have a little GS credit right now) to get $110ish GS credit.  Maybe I'm doing it wrong?

so u dont get the coupon in your account but  in the stores and  does the 100%  ends today @bby

Not mocking you friend, different hobbies is all. I work full time too, I am so tired by the end of each week day that I just want to go home and lay on the couch. If i do this on weekends then i would not have time to actually play games... Really admire the energy that you guys have, I wish I could too so that my PS4 would be cheaper. In fact I'm so lazy I would pay to avoid spending time in LA traffic and spending that $4 gas. Wait a minute....I do....it's called the "pay to drive without traffic express lane".
I'm with you. I was a hardcore flipper when blockbuster was my area. I even bought a $1500 50 inch flat screen from then for $500 at the height of my flipping in one of there test stores. But now a days I'm just content to play games, i just don't have the energy anymore. But I'm impress what the guys are doing, more power to you.

Any titles in the $20-$25 range that are a decent flip to Best Buy?
I'm looking to pick up Toy Story 3 for my son, and might as well combine it with a couple of other things to make a few bucks back.

I'm already heading up to BB later to get rid of ANOTHER copy of Dead Space 3.
Ha Ha Ha, I'll never play that game.

Those games always get hard to find after the initial launch print runs out, they're fairly niche after all. EO4 also has had garbage for trade value even when it was new so less incentive to trade it there.
Thanks, I know that a lot of Atlus games become rare, but damn this series seems to just stay right out of reach. Actually the entire Etrian Odyssey series has stayed just out of my grasp, except 3, and the digital copy of 4.

I was more concerned with getting a hard copy of Soul Hackers, since I don't plan on selling Etrian Odyssey, but both would have been boss, so then I could just download other crap.

I really wish I had seen your post earlier because my friend actually wants me to get her Etrian Odyssey 4 as well. Luckily, a couple stores around me have it. I probably could've gotten you a copy as well. Too late for that though I guess.

Since this was a code the employees had to scan anyone who renewed their discount to get this deal will have a B2G1 coupon waiting in active offers with the standard 2-3 month later expiration date.
Thanks MSU, this is the forth time you answered my question in my CAG history, really appreciate it.
Don't think I will be able to use the next B2G1 though, my backlog just expanded to two digits due to the 3 for ten. I remember that standard B2G1 coupon can be used by another member right?

I see that a few have bought more than three games, were you able to buy as many mutliples of three as you wanted like a normal b2g1 free sale?

Yes, but if you're doing multiple price points like three $50 games and three $20 games I don't know if you won't get two $20 games free since I did all the same priced stuff.

Double digits?!? o_O :rofl:

You can do B2G1 more than once per PUR card. However, Best Buy told me they couldn't do more than one copy of each game regardless of console. Sounded wrong to me, atleast as far as the part of regardless of console.

it's YMMV at Best Buy when it come to taking multiple copies of same game even if on different systems.
Yesterday I went to my local Best Buy and did 3 Madden 25 and 2 NCAA 14 games at the same time and wasn't even questioned so it all depends if it's the nice person or the policy enforcer.

Can I trade in more than one item at a time? Are there any limits? For Video Games, you are limited to no more than three copies of the same title and platform within a year (e.g., three copies of Madden 2011 for XBOX 360). Persons or companies intending to trade in ten or more than units of substantially similar products (like mobile phones, or laptops) are requested to use our online program. Our in-store service is provided for the convenience of our retail customers and is not designed to handle large volume transactions. Please be aware that the final offer price on volume transactions may be less than the offer for individual items.

They are idiots basically. They said i couldn't trade in more than 3 of the same title. I said it's 3 of the same title PER PLATFORM. I asked where she got her info from she said the stupid manager. I said well he doesn't understand the policy. I just stood my ground and eventually they did do the whole trade in. I said let me see in writing the policy..of course they couldn't find such info so i got what i wanted.

Thanks, but it's no huge deal. I'm just glad the eShop had a sale this week. It looks like it is going to be a pretty good game. Just started it this morning.

Also, here's a booster if anyone wants it. :rofl: :whee: :wave:

He said he just hit the double digit mark which means that he's probably in the 10-12 range. That's ridiculous and I think he's doing the site wrong.
To me the point is to buy games and play them. Not just buy them. So since I probably have 20-30 games(unplayed) only am I doing the site wrong?

Only sometimes! It was more that even when you're playing games like crazy it's almost impossible not to be adding new games to your backlog. Unless you're pretending to have that willpower thing everyone keeps making up. :whee:

I enjoy willpower. Prevents me from buying cheap games when Im not at all interested in them. Like that $6 MOH right now. Im not interested. Sure $6 is cheap as hell but why buy it if I dont want to play it anyways? I only buy when I am interested AND it is cheap. Not just cause its cheap.

Couldn't you buy NBA Xbox, NBA PS3, and Donkey Kong 3DS for... Is it around $55? Not home.

And then do the trade 2 for $9.99. Essentially making the third game free? Or combine the third game with a game you have and yeah.

Because those games are on the 2 for list and are somewhat the 'cheapest'. FIFA is also in the same price range, as is MLB, and...yeah

Yeah but when you are trading in games left and right for crazy $ amounts it is hard to say "Ok I don't NEED this game". It mostly is the fact we see games hit a super low point, when they are deserving of much higher prices, and sure we might not even play the game this YEAR. But should we want to, somewhere down the line, we have it, and we paid pennies on the dollar for it, and after that we can usually send it on its way for at MINIMUM our cost for it. So maybe it is half going "we don't need it" then instantly needing it, reverse psychology sucks... but the other half DO wan't to play the games, but the problem is, so man amazing deals pop up that games are arriving faster than we can play them! Before this site about a week or two from black friday when I joined, I could pile my game cases on top of eachother and they would be about one stack of close to two feet... Now I have literal boxes of them, I mean PACKED full of games, and when I go through them and look at what I paid for the games, I am shocked.

Would be $68, not really worth it

I went to GameStop and used my trade in credit to purchase The Last of Us, Splinter Cell Blacklist and NCAA 14 for around $105 ($49.49+$49.49+tax). I traded all 3 games to Best Buy for $132.30. Not bad.

If I had the time, I would make another trip to Gamestop. But I work today, and I have a feeling that BB trade in values will drop tomorrow

...What? Your math is wrong.
Yeah, maybe I'm confusing the #'s on the free game and stuff :\

Edit:

If you buy 2 Donkey Kongs and 1 NBA, wouldn't it be

1- DK: $29.7

2- DK: Free

3- NBA: $31.5

So, ~$60 after PUR discounts. Which item would the bday coupon take off from? Since they are different prices?

Trying to see if I'm making sense or just drunk lol

The bday coupon comes off your most expensive item. You originally said 2 NBA and 1 DK. After PUR:

DK = 29.7 (free)
NBA = 34.2
NBA = 34.2

After bday coupon:

DK = 29.7
NBA = 34.2
NBA = 27.4 (free)

Total before tax is ~$65.

Edit:
Sorry, I didn't comprehend the 2 DK thing...

DK = 29.7
DK = 29.7
NBA = 27.4 (free)
Total = 59.4

Birthday coupon comes off first. Then PUR.

Has anyone gotten successful results after using the bday coupon with this weekend's B2G1Free promo? I tried using it but it didn't seem to stack :/

Is the GS employee suppose to scan one game first and then scan the bday coupon, then scan the rest of the games? Thanks for any replies...btw I've never used one of these coupons b4 so be nice lol

I had bought Madden, Madden, and Saints Row and when I went to trade them into GS, the guy scanned Madden and said okay I'm going to refund you for this and then I'll do the trade in.

So, I'm not sure if you could return a paid game and get the full price

Got Fire Emblem Wii, Last of Us, Tales of Xillia, then got Saints Row IV by trading in Mario Kart Wii and Animal Crossing Wild World. Spent: $115 trade credit, $15 cash to get Mario KartWii and Animal Crossing WW

Traded in TLoU, Xillia, and SRIV to Best Buy for $130 credit. So I guess whatever I can get for Fire Emblem Wii will be my profit essentially.

Grabbed NCAA 14, TLoU an ToX. TLoU had an unused online pass and the ToX was the limited edition bundle with artbook and sealed soundtrack. The DLC code had been redeemed on that one.

Then like the majority went to BB and traded them in since I already own all three. It's been awhile since I've had a decent chunk of credit at BB.

Wow. That's nice. My TLOU had a used pass. I grabbed NCAA Football 14 with a dude's receipt between the inserts. lol

I got Tales of Xillia, but it was missing the artbook and soundtrack. Is there some way that I can get the artbook and soundtrack from you?

Ok Stellar can no longer say I never buy games to play.  I was just at GS trading my recent arrivals from Amazon and in addition to the two copies of Pokemon Black Version 2 and a copy of Pokemon Gates to Infinity I got for the trade two I also got Dragon Age Awakening, Dragon Age 2 and Final Fantasy XII-2 on an impulse because I wanted them to play.  FF13-2 might get exchanged for something else since it's $17 and the others were $9 but they were about to close and it was the only thing in the same ballpark I could find.  Heck, I even pre-ordered Diablo 3 since I've been tempted by it and they were awesome and did three different transactions to make sure I got all the promos.

Third transaction was better condition copies of NFS Shift, Ninja Gaiden Sigma and Bad Company 2 and then I'll return the others.
