Is there any way to check how many of a certain item I've traded in?  From here on out, I'm going to keep an excel sheet.  I'll play it safe and not trade in my 360 S adapter this time I suppose.

I have a new rule. Anyone who charges the $3 warranty without asking me, automatically gets all 0s on their survey.
Same. In my eyes it's basically theft - which is what I said to this chick who decided to charge me a fee for EVERY game I traded it as well as warranties on every game I was purchasing on the same transaction. The best part is the games were almost all new and I opened them about 20 minutes before trading them in. We ended up arguing for about 10 minutes before she took off the warranties and all but one fee. I obliterated her on the survey and never returned to that store.

Use the m.gamestop site and then under the PUR section it will have a transaction history and it will tell you what you did on each transaction. It takes some work if you're done a bunch but only way I know of if you don't have your receipts kept together.

Oh I hate that, especially if you go over the copies on the floor picking out the best one.

I do it all the time because its easier than having to change cases and relabeling the other case. We are told to do this. If you're adamant about having that case tell them before hand. Most employees won't care.

Is there a limit on how much cash I can get for trades in a month?  I was thinking about doing a huge trade in tomorrow but don't want to get banned.

I used about 30 certs on one account and still didn't receive a ban. GameStop is slipping up.

Also, what are the chances of pro day trade in value going into Sunday morning/afternoon??

Extra 10% off is being reflected online as well.

Doom comes out $21.46 used.

Edit:
CAG16 voids out the additional 10%

Wow thanks so much for that! Looks like I've only officially traded in 2 adapters (3rd was when I signed up for PUR and there was a system-wide issue going on, so no official record). While I'm at it I'll also trade in the chat adapter I got for free from purchasing the Polk headset. Life is good!

Maybe Deader or someone can chime in on this... any possibility the Retailmenot coupon would void the 10% pro day?  Actually nevermind.  Even if it did, it would give a larger discount.  I guess the only concern would be if the No Man's Sky promo stacks with the pro day bonus.  I'm on the East Coast so I plan on going pretty early to grab some games.  I'll report back as soon as I can

edit: I don't think it will affect the promo actually.  The Pro bonus is listed as a straight 20%, not two seperate 10% bonuses.

By the way, both cash and trade credit are showing the 20% bonus. YMMV, but it's nice that it shows that way on the app.

It'd be better if I hadn't assumed it WOULDN'T be that way and traded in most of my stuff already.

I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas day to come.  I promise I'll play Rainbow Six Siege this time.  Anyone else ever buy a Season Pass and end up not playing the game? lol

Son of a Bisquick!  Looks like the Pro day discounts on new games applies in the cart so the used prices will not drop.

Example: GTA V is still 39.99 new and $35.49 used. If you add to your cart you will see that $10 is taken off the new one to get to the $29.99 price.

Also (not really surprising) the Pro Day extra discount on used games is actually only 9% since the 10% is taken off the PUR Pro discounted price,

Basically this means the cheapest you will get GTA V for is $23 even with a RMN coupon stacking. Still a solid $23>$35 boomerang with a NMS preorder but not as lucrative as we were hoping for.

Looks like some of the sale prices aren't live yet. For example, Mad Max is still $30. We should be fine. Hopefully

edit: Doesn't look like any of the sale prices are live yet, it's just showing a bonus in cart at the moment. I think we'll be okay

edit 2: Just add Doom to your cart ($29.99 new, the same price GTA V will be in the morning) to see the values from the chart. May be a few cents off

edit 3: Don't listen to anything I said lol. I certainly hope that the used prices will update. They have that 20% guarantee

Dang, was hoping to get a used Gta for super cheap, although I guess it kinda makes sense since the new price isn't actually changing

Me :D/

Seems I captured only some of the new TIV as they were changing on the site. Never fear I am re-running the query.

TBH no idea how it will all work since this is the first time they have done a Pro day. I close tomorrow so you all will find out before i get in.

So I apologize in advance but I've been trying to follow this part of the conversation but am not 100% clear - does the system flag you for using that RMN coupon more than once? My employees 100% will not care, but I just want to make sure the system won't automatically do something to my account if I do it.

Just a thought:

If they ever charge me for that protection thing without asking me first here is what I will do.   "Oh that's a good idea, you mean even if the damage is my fault you will replace the disc?  Sure!  I'll take it!!!"

Then step outside the store, snap the disc in half and walk back in.   "Oops!  Looks like I broke it!  Need a new one!"

Rinse and repeat until they are out of that game at that store.

Just FYI, if your accounts are burnt like mine are, you can still trade in under those burnt accounts by giving them the phone number. I have done this and even if you don't get the pro bonus it still helps to have that account.

Seems like some of you are gearing up for Pro Day. May I ask what looks so good on Pro Day that some folks are getting excited for? As the above mentioned poster mentions "one hell of a train run"

Thanks for the tip. Too bad I don't even know what number I used to register it with. I've always scanned my card. In your situation were you able to open up a new account with same DL and do trades?

Has anyone had anymore instances of Gamestop running out of cash for trade-ins? I want to trade in around $350 worth of games, but I don't want to be out of luck if they can only give me credit.

Why did you cover up the part that says credit must be applied toward the purchase of an Xbox one s? Lol
I was underlining the date. I assumed people already knew what it was for especially since I mentioned it.

EDIT: And it has a massive image advertising such right above the text.

Last time, traded in $400 worth of games for cash at open and had to wait about 30 minutes for them to get cash from other customers.

Just looked weird is all. Anyways you'll find out today its really not much of a deal, they were already offering $200 for a ps4 this just means they will keep doing so do another month. You can get 200 without having to buy anything.

The only thing to see is if it actually gives any bump to Xbox ones and how much

SHITfuck! Just tried doing some trades today and found out I was banned on all 3 of my accounts. I'm really annoyed about losing all my PUR points, I hope they show up when I'm un-banned. I'm pretty sure it was multiple uses of the retailmenot coupon that did me in. So be careful if you are using those. Between the 3 accounts I stayed under all my 4 per game limits and $500 cash trades.
Man, these bans seem to be random. I have a single account and have traded in $500+ cash trades in a single month and have traded multiple copies of the same game in the same transaction. Guess it just depends on if you get a Jr. Detective or not

Okay, so the consensus seems to be wait until later in the day when they make more cash transactions. For some reason, I was going to go at open because I assumed they had a separate fund for trades that depleted during the day.

Any one know why I am getting a "we're sorry, we are unable to process your order at this Time. Please try again later." Error from GS when placing games on hold?

Try putting a dot in your email if you use gmail. You probably have 3 holds lingering in the system due to employees not marking them properly which blocks your email address.

typically that means you've exceeded 3 online holds limit. At least that's what comes up for me. So I just another email address to get up to 6 holds at a time. They typically clear the next day after you pick them up.

This is really cool. I did not know about this. But I'm searching through it and it's only showing about half of the trades I've done on my account. I think receipts still might be more reliable (unless they get lost).
