Gears of War 3 - Release Date Sept. 20

I wish i knew how to wall bounce better. Sometimes i try to slide into a wall and he just rolls forward. Like sometimes it just rolls instead of slides even though its the same distance from previous times ive slid into cover. I love sliding into cover, or off walls. But im not good enough to do it effectively 2+ times. I try to move the RS while im sliding in to the wall, so i can view the next wall i want to slide into, is that how its usually done?

Sometimes i see people wall bounce left to right without even moving forward or backwards.

I beat the Campaign on Normal and then played through Arcade on Insane, and it gave it to me for both modes.

I also noticed that when I would just check my standard campaign progress it would show the Insane completed icon from Arcade chapters I had played, so I think it should work.

What chapters do you have left?

All of Act IV and everything in Act V except chapters 1 and 3. It's the final boss fight that I'm dreading. :) That's why I was wondering, if I beat everything in arcade except for the final boss fight, and then beat that in standard with my brother playing on casual difficulty, will I still get the Onyx.
 
Arcade just adds scoring to kills.

I prefer it because it gives you a kill confirmation and you can die and respawn in co-op. It does make you go back to the Lancer/Gnasher after every chapter because of Leaderboards though.

Well unless you play as sam, she is annoying to play as because you have hammerburst/sniper to start with. That combo is garbage if you get in close quarters with enemies. I mean it makes sense she is a precision weapon expert from her loadout, but its only good for long range situations. Dom also has a hammerburst, i hate playing as him too.
 
So a guy is running after teammates, i put 4 gnashers into his back via pop shot and he still runs off clean. Then he can turn around and SOS me in one shot. LOL. The same guy traded shots with me, 3-4 gnashers shots at the same time and i go down and he didnt. I also have had games today where i shoot a guy first, we trade shots, my 4th shot does nothing, then he shoots me back 4th time and i go down. What? I dont understand how the guy shooting 2nd can win a battle if each shot is connecting.

Also mantle kicks are still fucked. I evade back 5 feet and still get kicked. When i do mantle kick they end up behind me.
 
Just gotta come to terms you need to play smarter if you use the gnasher. SOS will always beat you in a CQB. I just use lancer now at this point even for CQB. :D! EPICS!WANTED!IT!LIKE!THIS!
 
Says you get 10 entries per account but only lets me do one.

You don't need to like them just wait for a banner to pop up and fill in the info. It worked for one friend already.
 
I redeemed the code but it just said i wasnt an instant winner, also when i registered i had to put i was from Illinois because they didnt have wisconsin as an option, since we dont have any in our state. If i have to buy a combo meal i guess im screwed, the closest one is 292 miles away, unless someone has extra codes and gives me one.

how did you enter more than 1 code? Mine says i reached the limit, but it says 10 per day and ive only done 1. You can probably get unlimited codes, just share and make up some random email, if you put the same email it will say you already got a code.
 
Not a winner. I have a second code, but their terribly run site is down.

EDIT: If someone wins a code and doesn't want it, just PM it to me. I'll keep trying though.
 
Turns out you can generate as many Facebook codes as you like, as long as you use a different email address each time. I got a skin code on my second try. Just remember to use a valid email!
 
Just downloaded my code and tried them out, they look fucking slick! Some random dude I was playing with hit me up asking me if I modded my camo :lol:

I told him it was legit and got it from Jack In The Box. I wonder how much this code will fetch on eBay, I gotta try to get me more later.
 
These little code promotions always turn nasty and end quickly after being heavily abused.

Too bad they don't have codes that put blanks in everyone's shotguns in your match - then the game might be more fun.

Did this promo just go live? I think the horde of people crashed it. Damn was looking forward to playing versus most of the night tonight with my new sexy "FREE" skins.
 
Oh awesome now reading all over the Epic Forums that they had limited amount of codes on Facebook and now they are all out because of greedy ass fuckers who took like 10 codes and are selling them on ebay. If this is true fuck you microsoft and fuck you epic games. I live within 5 minutes of a jack in the box but I am not going to buy one of there nasty ass combo meals I would rather eat dog shit over that stuff any day.

This is all rumors though on the Epic forums people are raging. No one provided a link to actual proof my guess is they crashed the code site from how many people were on it.
 
I was able to use one of my codes i saved from earlier and score a liquid green set. Thank god, because the nearest restaurant is 292 miles away. Sorry for everyone else that didnt get one. I tried to get another one but code wasnt a winner. :(
 
After a brutal 150 wave session of Insane Horde with a friend of mine the two of us are now proud owners of its onyx medal. LETZ GO! LOL @ the Green LM Skin drama. Un-sur-pris-ing.
 
So I just got back from jack in the box. Bought 2 large cokes and am 2 for 2 for the green skins weapon packs. My brother used the other. Now looking on ebay there is one up for $46 jesus. lol.
 
Sigh...I guess I'll try one if the one near me is still open (I think it is). What are codes on? I'm guessing you have better odds with actually going there.

Yeah I just bought a Large Drink, Coke baby and chugged it down. On the side is a little peal me off thingy. Which you can win other items won a free medium drink. But then under the sticker on the actual cup is a 9 or so digit code you have to go to http://www.jacksgotgame.com/ and enter it. As soon as I signed up and entered it it said Congrats gears 3 weapon pack.
