Agreed. I see it too often. "Can you fix my laptop?" No, it's a $400 pile of shit. You get what you pay for.
You can get crazy powerful PCs for cheap now. The market has never been this good for what you get for the money.
Plus building is fun. ^__^

Same card I have, different manufacturer. It's great, had it for almost 2 years now, paid $200 for it, still mows over most anything I throw at it. I'm probably going to upgrade at the end of the year though, something in the $250 range or so, most likely a 570. That'll last me until the next console generation and beyond.

Dude, I liked InFamous... it had its share of problems (like the ing useless train tracks not being useful for travel at all -- the somewhat late granting of the thrusters), but like Prototype, it was a lot of fun running around in a vertical sandbox with super powers.
And there's nothing wrong with porting good fighters to the new PS Vita platform. I'll buy em. Maybe not all at once, maybe not at full price... but I'll buy em, especially non SF-layout fighters, since I won't have to worry about which buttons to put on the shoulders. Especially interested, if -- as mentioned above -- they support PSN play and I can fight PS3 owners on the go.

What didn't I like about Infamous? I don't want to go too deeply into it, but I'll just say the controls are ass, framerate is ass, missions are lame as hell, and every motherer shooting at me from a rooftop with a pistol is annoying as .

In regards to playing fighters I did forget that the 3DS and Vita might have slightly more of an online presence (we can hope). So at least you'll be able to play with other people if you're near wi-fi, I was just factoring in playing only CPUs which would get boring really fast, like imagine MvC3 with no online *shivers* I would never want to play that. My hands also cramp up really fast playing fighters with a d-pad (like within half an hour the pain in my hand is so great I have to stop) so I usually try to avoid playing them like that, so I might have a strong bias against trying to play fighting games especially on handhelds which typically have even more awkward d-pads than normal.

Infamous is a pretty mediocre game. Hank is perhaps the most reasonable GGter here, and thus I'm not surprised by his accurate viewpoint.

This is very true, I went into inFamous expecting Crackdown, and it was no Crackdown. Doesn't mean it was bad though, it just wasn't great. But I have a feeling inFamous 2 is better than Crackdown 2.
