I really hope the lag isn't a problem in Gears of War 3... it made 2's multiplayer unplayable... which is a damn shame, because I think Gears 1 was probably my favorite multiplayer game ever. Yep. Me, Jimbo, Rolento, seanr, and some people who aren't GGT $$$s used to play the SHIT out of that.

I loved the single player in Gears 2, but yeah... multi just wasn't the same :(
Gears of War Wednesdays, right?
Gears of War Wednesdays, right?
Officially, yeah, but we were playing that shit like... most days of the week for several hours.
And true to the norm, they picked a shitty overrated brown one to like.
you forgot homoerotic

Through that game I think most of us become what we are known as now, good or bad, but mostly strange.

We didn't need Gears to tell us you were an art $$$, Rolento

it's like a baby's toy!

Um

I was playing RDR, on the raft mission

And all of a sudden

I was flung 100 feet into the air

Where Marsten had an epileptic seizure

Then fell back down and drowned
Gears of War was one of the most unfun games I played this gen. I enjoyed the demo of Vampire Rain more because at least I could laugh at that. Gears was just bland boring shit full of bullet sponge enemies, TROIKA!!!!s, shitty vehicle segment and etc
Wow, we actually agree on something.
Gears 1's single player is indefensible. It was insanely generic.
very much. Online was a blast though. I actually liked it when online would glitch.
Wow, there are like 5 people in Metropolis and that's it. It's crazy.
Ya, I mainly noticed the hulk and spawn

I made an ice guy and named him Frigid Air....like the fridge.

I didn't mind FFXII's combat speed in the first place but apparently the config menu allows you to practically double the ATB rate. Now I can grind to my heart's content \\:D/
There's actually a lot of valuable gameplay aspects you have to learn about on your own -- but who ever checks the tips menu?

Oh and as always, I'm down for SSF4 tonight.

WOOO! Hell yeah, the Fridge! *high fives*

Yeah, I've noticed two or three Spawns, a couple of Hulks, and a bunch of random Wildstorm characters. Oh, and a couple of Deadpools, too.

Dude, make sure you hit all the little green question marks when you're on mission arcs, because for getting all of them you can get some seriously bitchin' loot! I've unlocked both Bane and Scarecrow's masks.

who the fuck wants to be in metropolis? Gotham's where its at.

I did because apparently that's where the JSA are in the game. Whenever I explored the area though, I kept coming up against some of the shittiest enemies ever.

Started up Dragon Age yesterday and got thoroughly sucked in and played all day (8 1/2 hours or something). Really dig the story and all the dialogue. Need to take more time to figure out all the combat options. Was just rolling through it until Redcliffe castle. Had no problems defending the village, but was getting my ass owned in the castle and ended up dropping the difficulty to casual to get past a couple of battles. Off to get the help of the Mage Circle to deal with the issue in the castle now.

In any case, this game will consume a lot of my time the next month or two!

I was really tempted to pick up the ultimate edition (clearance at Target, 30.00) yesterday, but I still have the regular edition to finish, and DAII comes out pretty soon (and DAII looks like it will fix things similar to ME1->ME2).

Yeah I grabbed the ultimate when it was $40 on Amazon (and had a $20 gaming credit to use toward it).

Figure I'll just do the same and wait for eventual ultimate edition of DAII. Just too pricey to play these WRPGs with expansions and smaller DLCs if you buy at launch and pick up the DLC as it comes out.

So you're saying that DAII won't be an RPG at all, just use minimal RPG elements? [I don't know, I haven't payed attention to it at all]
From what I've seen about DAII, it looks more like a hack'n'slash with RPG stuff and lots of talking thrown on top.
So it is getting the ME2 treatment then. ME2 was a TPS with RPG stuff and lots of talking thrown on top.

Yep, pretty much. I know I'm more excited for DAII having this done, though... I really didn't like the first one. I didn't mind the combat in ME1 at all.

If that's the case, then I'm definitely looking more forward to DAII. I much prefer action-oriented combat.

I'm really not big into RPG stuff--I just love the stories, questing and dialogue options in these kind of games. Hate micro managing stats, combat commands etc. So I'd be stoked if DAII is getting the ME2 treatment!
4 dollars from the bookstore for my textbooks

life is a shit
Ya that happened to me first year of college, me and my roommate sold off all the books we didn't want and got like $15 total each, we decided to just go out for a nice dinner.

All on the online shit I looked up gave me less and I don't wanna go through the work of actually selling them to another person.

So I traded one in for 4 dollars.

They wouldn't accept the other, I threw it away.

They won't accept another.

And I'm selling the last one to Chegg for 40 dollars.

On that subject, what does "postmarked" mean? If I take something to the post office like, on the 14, it would be postmarked the 14th?

Yes. Postmarked is the day postage is paid for and it enters the postal system.

Got back from my 4 hour contracts final.

Yo. I wrote about contracts for 4 hours.

Couple hours of relaxation, then I gotta hit the books.

That's good to know actually. I dont think I've hit any of the green question marks so far.

And sounds like Gotham City is the place to be? I need to make a hero character for gotham.
