Edit (shipwreck): I went ahead and merged all of the Gran Turismo 4 and God Of War threads as it looks like they have had a universal price drop to $19.99 at multiple stores (Best Buy, GameCrazy, GameStop, EBGames, etc.).

Pre-played version is going for $29.99 & most places still have it at $49.99 NEW, that I've checked..haven't checked many.

Bout time the price dropped on this one... I think the new version with online play is getting pretty close to release though right?

It's rumored to come out the second quarter of 2006. It should have all the features of the orginal game plus some new online aspects.

I thought sony denied it... They said that the leak was only partialy right, other 2 where just thoughts right now.

Would you confirm something you haven't announced yourself? The game they confirmed out of the 3 games was Killzone for PSP and that's only because they officially announced it some time earlier.
 
Still not as good as the deal at KB Toys where they had this for ten bucks during christmas but if gets to that price at EB then I might pick it up. Should got at KB but somebody had bought all the copies of it before I got there.
 
I heard about this GT4 online version when the game first came out but I haven't heard anything since, so I don't think there is going to be any GT4 online version coming out any time in the future
 
GoW...finally. Now I have to find other places to have it for 19.99 as BB shipping isn't that great from what I hear.

I'm pretty sure it's coming, I heard about it some time ago as well, but recall reading an update on it in the past two weeks or so... wish I could remember where I read the article.
 
For those of you going to BB B&M to pick up the games, remember the 10% off all games at BB.

The BB around me didn't have GoW so I had to order it online. It only came to $21.
 
This is probably a signal that these two title are getting the GH treatment. They have both been out for a little over a year and sold a ton of copies, so this price drop is welcome.

Any word if Sony will ever release an online enabled version of GT4? I may want to wait for that.
 
Ebgames have it for the same price. Seem like new MSRP is $19.99 but still waiting for Gamestop to drop down $20 so i can pick it up (have so store credit to spend instead cash).
 
lol they prob just gave up on that online version.. isee no reason why they would release now.. their prob workin on ps3 and psp version
 
Finally. Since discovering CAG I've decided that $50 is too much for a game so I been waiting for this price drop. Being a CAG is great. Thank you all.
 
I just picked up a copy of each from Gamecrazy and they're also $19.99 a pop. So hurry up a pick up a copy before they slap that ugly red GH banner on them.
 
Cool . . . I rented it (free rental) and enjoyed it but was waiting for $20 . . .

Plus, I now have the penny player's guide.
