Green Man Gaming (Steam) Deals: 25% Off Hitman

You also forgot to mention that the net-play is neutered as well. (Yes, I own these from back in the day.)
That bothers me less than missing content. It also sounded like it could be recovered using some launch switch and a console command (not that I paid too much attention to that though.)

It was 20% off!

If anyone cares what Liberation looks like, I posted several screens on IGN. That's with all settings on max but AA, which is on High. You need d3doverrider like with AC4 if you don't want it constantly bumping you down to 30fps.

That's 5 different urls ^

Yes. I've noted that many times before. I decided not to pull a MysterD.

I actually have all DS1: LoA Edition & DS2 base game + Broken World expansion from retail.

Is there any way to take your retail copies and basically plaster the expansion content/files (from Retail) over the Steam-versions of these base-games?

I'm assuming you can with DS but I can't vouch for it as I don't own the box retail with the expansion (I actually I think I did YEARS ago but long since lost it) but I know you can with DS2.

You have to do some registry editing to fix the paths to get it to work. It's been a while but I had the DS2 expansion working over the Steam version. There should still be some discussion about it on the Steam forums but not sure if it's on the community forum or the old SPUF.

It's been discussed before here too. I remember talking about it in the past here and I even seem to recall you even commenting about it at one point.

Really? I commented about it?

Well, I'll be damned - hehe.

I must be getting old or something, forgetting things like this...

{shakes my head}

{goes to search to see if I can find more info on this to share}

EDIT 2:

This is interesting on how to try to get DS1: LoA Edition (Retail) working on DS1 (Steam):

http://steamcommunity.com/app/39190/discussions/0/882961586735352371/#c882962877579075578

I ain't tried any of this, since I don't own DS1 and DS2 on Steam...

...but, might as well toss this out there, for those willing to try.

LoA isn't just an expansion, it includes the original Dungeon Siege as well, so it doesn't seem like it'd work.. but yeah, you can definitely get the DS2 expansion working with Steam.

that's a really nice looking game. i'm going to make myself wait for the previous AC games I have, though. I played a bit of 2, liked it, and bought 1, B, R, and L. maybe i'll start 1 after I finish x:ew this weekend.

I have both steam and disc copies of DS. Also have its expansion.

If someone reminds me can see what works and what won't work.

Thanks neuro! Bought Batman 2 for the kids. They are loving Lego Marvel and I see B2 is more of the same but with DC characters (I know Marvel is newer)

Have any GMG coupons been redeemable on Titanfall? I kinda want the game but $60 seems a little steep.
Pre-orders usually have their own deals. I don't think I've ever seen a general 20%/25% off voucher intentionally work on any pre-order. Best to just keep an eye on their blog.

Nice!

Go check my Edits on this post here w/ links on how to try to plaster:

DS:LOA (Retail) over DS1 (Steam):

DS2 + Broken World (both Retail) over DS2 (Steam)

I hope it works. :D
Sorry about my previous post... I was checking in at work via my phone, and its an old phone.

Anyhow, I do not have DS 2 nor its expansion... I do have DS and LoA (I've only linked the non steam LoA into steam right now) but when I got the DS complete (with 3 and its expansion) for 5 bucks I noticed that DS MP didn't work. So I simply broke out my copy of DS and installed it over the exact location steam install it. This gave me the best of both worlds as my DS MP works now (At least I assume it works it lets me host a game over the internet but I've never tried to see if anyone could join) and in my steam library DS shows up with the store page, which friends play it, etc.

Is that what you're trying to do...? (Just making sure I'm on the same page.)

If so LoA installs in the same folders as DS... (or maybe I just installed it in the same folder, if it installs separately by default change this) It just has a different executable... So I just moved the normal DS excutable out of the folder and renamed the LoA excutable to DungeonSiege.exe and started the game via steam. I can create/save games in both DS and LoA and I can host a game in MP... Again I had no one to attempt to join but I'm not expecting any issues...

So truth be told. DS 1 is very easy to do this with.

Has it been verified that you only get the $0.10 back per order? Still seems like individual orders are still the way to go.

According to this post on the reddit, the vouchers should now apply to multiple items in the checkout cart.

Finally.

edit: I just quoted a post to say the exact same thing that I quoted. What the fuck is wrong with me.

What?!? That's heresy!!! Now how I am supposed to freak out my bank... they love the multitude of small foreign transactions... even though it's the same places and similar amounts as I've repeatedly approved before...

You get $0.10 for each product not each order, you can check the GMG Credit earned at the right side of the page when you enter the voucher code.

Just for the record, if you're a completion thinking about picking up all the Lego games, the pack that included them all was about a dollar cheaper when it last went on sale.

I'm probably the only one who would actually buy them all, but that's a dollar that could be used elsewhere.

Brown shoes...no.
You're missing the bigger context here of me trying to ward you off of an iPad Lego game. The "proper" handheld version on 3DS/Vita are already inferior to their console/PC cousins and missing a lot of content/features, and the iPad version is an even bigger step down with the added disadvantage of touch controls. I love the Lego games to death, but couldn't advise anyone to go with those versions.

Not that I really expect you were planning to buy it, but I still felt compelled to "talk you off the ledge" so to speak.

No, I appreciate the advice. I just view my iPad as more of my casual gaming platform. LoTR was the only one I had the slightest interest in due to the movie voice work, but I will defer to your better judgement.

But still, I feel the more important issue is I will not be wearing brown shoes.

Wait what? You're the only one who would buy them all? I think you failed to notice you are attending a meeting of ex Gamer Hoarders Anonymous members who fell off the wagon.

I'm still waiting for that god damned Lego Indiana Jones to go on a decent sale. Hell I've even pondering buying Lego Pirates of the Caribbean which isn't even on Steam. Heresy I say!

I take it you skipped the Disney Kids and Family pack, then? So, yeah, I have Lego Pirates of the Caribbean.
