Well, I put my credit to good use. I went out and about today and found a used copy of Guitar Hero 2 for 360 for just $27 at a pawn shop! That rocked. So naturally I needed the guitar to go with it. I took a drive to my local Gamestop where they had a few used ones. I had about $25 in credit from another previous DS trade-in. So I went in and traded Starfox Command DS and True Swing Golf for another $25 credit. Bought the guitar for $36 and had $10 left over.

In the end, I got Guitar Hero 2 with a guitar and it only cost me $27. Woot for the boys at CAG keeping an eye out for the goo trade-in deals.
This would only benefit people that want to keep Madden 08 DS.
A few people have confirmed in the TRU Madden 08 thread that they were able to recover the cost of Madden 08 through ebay or via return to TRU.

I traded:

Pursuit Force
Ratchet and Clank
Wipeout Pure
Hot Shots Golf
Brain Age
Mario Kart DS
New Super Mario Bros. DS
Clubhouse Games
Metroid Prime Pinball
Advance Wars DS

I got 12 issues of Game Informer (they pushed it on me and I felt bad for them)
and I paid off BioShock

I had $131 before Game Informer and BioShock and after the extra 10% and 10% and after the two, I have $59.68 left. Not bad at all. I basically got GameInformer for $3 after the 10% extra they gave, so its not too bad.

Since tomorrow is the last day for this deal (and also my b-day) I just need to try a few psp games I have now to see if they are worth keeping.

cagwiki says $6 for DQ:RS and $5 for MS, check cagwiki next time

Just got back and traded (prices after bonus)
HM: $15
Sega Casion: $10

Put the $25 credit towards Halo 3 LE, they didn't let me double dip on the trade in towards reservation of Halo 3 and get 20% more on trade in.

I really didn't take advantage of this deal like I should have, but I did get another $66.30 out of it today. Traded 2 each of Ape Escape Academy and Pac-Man World Rally along with a Go! Sudoku and an Over the Hedge Hammy Goes Nuts (DS) - all prices as in the wiki (I will update the dates later). That makes about $216 of credit on about $86 spent originally - not bad. I could have done a lot more, but just didn't have the motivation (and my Best Buy's are very limited in that only 1 location has a decent stock and it is just the 3 PSP games Gunpey, Pacman, and Ape Escape). Of course, just in the last few days I found out Gamecrazy is having problems and there are rumors swirling of it's demise. If I had known that earlier I may have tried to pump up my EB/GS credit a bit more. Oh well, hopefully GC (where I have even more credit) will stick around at least another year.

Does the deal expire today or tomorrow. Does it expire on the 19th or good thru the 19th? Just want to see if I can trade some old psp games tomorrow?

I ditched:

Final Fantasy 3
Metroid Prime Pinball
Metroid Prime Hunters
Feel the Magic

Got $48 for them all... not horrible, but less than half of what I paid total for them all back when I bought them. The extra $20 was the only reason I did it anyways.

After my local BB got 4 copies of harvest moon today and a couple Hard Rock Casino/Dave Mirra copies, I'm up to over $500 now...

Too bad I have to wait a month to enjoy my time spent flipping 38 $5 games haha

Oh well, the 360+Halo will be sweeet

How much does Hard Rock net before the bonus? I'm sure it's mentioned somewhere in this thread but I can't find it and it's not in the wiki.

Can we trade in cart-only games? I have a cart only Madden 06 I literally found on the ground and would like to trade that in, along with maybe something else.

I wish I knew about this deal earlier! So only Sprung and Ping Pals are excluded?

anybody happen to know how much "My Frogger: Toy Trials" on DS would fetch?

Also the games don't have to be in original cases do they? If they do that would be lame cuz I bought a used DS game from gamestop one time and it was just the cartridge that came in a little paper Cd sleeve.

Did two more sets today.

Harvest Moon ($10 + $1.00 edge)
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team ($8 + $0.80 edge)
+ $10 bonus
= $29.80 credit

Harvest Moon ($10 + $1.00 edge)
Diddy Kong Racing ($11 + $1.10 edge)
+ $10 bonus
= $33.10 credit

is this from a ton of bestbuy frontlane/expired coupons or from getting money from crap games you were never gonna play anyways?

Oh man I went too far today for my final flipping spree. I bought 4 Gunpeys and 2 Go!Sudokus at Best Buy for $30+tax. I paired a Sudoku and Gunpey at 2 different Gamestops for $21 at each one. At the third Gamestop I tried to trade the final 2 Gunpeys at the same time and the guy checked my drivers license info and he said I've been flagged in their system for trading in too many Gunpeys. I traded 1 Gunpey on Thursday and 2 today. Damn. What to do with the 2 I have left...

The deal is dead, long live the deal!
play both Gunpeys at the same time?
Ha I don't even have a PSP. But yes this was a great deal if you did it right... Thank you OP, Best Buy, and Gamestop for letting me turn $5 cash into $10.50 credit. This deal will be missed...

Mine were from my own horde...er backlog...er collection. It's actually a little scary.

I found I had a lot of games that I would probably never get around to playing. There were other, better games also there that I would play first.

Or there were games that I bought that were, at the time, among the best available, but now there are much better ones. Am I really going to play a mediocre RPG when I've also got several other A-list ones? When I haven't even opened the A-list ones?

Or, there were others that I picked up cheap and intended to play (someday) that were just sitting there. I tried a bunch of these in the last week, and dumped anything that seemed like it was lacking.

It's been an expensive lesson, though I managed to pretty much get back what I paid (on average) for the stuff I traded in. And now I have enough to buy a (used) PS3 or 360.

$7....so with the bonus and my edge card it was a nice $12.70 for a $5 game

I really hope this deal makes a comeback...after flipping 3 more harvest moons, a pacman, a hard rock, and a gunpey today, I'm almost at $600 haha
