Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock - 8/21 Dragonforce Track Pack

Sweeet! Except the original would've been better.
Love the Guitar sound though.

I played the demo today at Gamestop, they had the Guitar there. The buttons were not as easy to push on as the GH2 one though.
Also go this demo from the OXM mag.
That isn't my point, My point is would they allow that in GH3?
Why not? They have a song called "Raining Blood".

Ive gotten 5 stars on every song but 2 so far on all the games combined and I think I met my match with that song. One more week of suffering...

I hate the Pride and Joy cover. There's way too many missing/extra notes and the singer isn't too great. Number of the Beast and Minus Celsius look fun, but very hard. Bulls on Parade looks like an easy FC, even for me. Not that I'm complaining about that. I'm not kidding anyone though, I know the game will dominate my life for the next year or so.

Also, Holiday in Cambodia video.

Two months ago I had zero interest in any guitar game. Then I borrowed GHII and got hooked. Now, I have to say, I have never watched so many game videos for a single game before.

I'm more pumped for this than I was for Halo.

I haven't been following GHIII all that much, but I'm a bit confused by the OP. The description says it will have over 70 songs, yet the confirmed list is only 59 and it was posted that the final song was revealed. So did they cut the final number down to 59, or is it something else that I'm missing?
too bad the final song wasn't
the devil went down to jamacia - weird al haha

That's not Weird Al.

The OP is kinda useless. Just read the thread for the last few pages or so.

Wow, the Holiday in Cambodia cover shits all over Police Truck.

Final song as in last song you play "on tour".

I knew it was someone obvious

EDIT: wait, so you have to buy Slash & Tom Morello? lame, i though you just had to beat them

There seem to be a lot more chords and the game looks much harder. I beat expert in GHII and fc'd most. Anyway, the paranoid cover is crap and I'm pissed cause that was one song I was looking most forward too.

There are people on my friends list playing Guitar Hero 3 demo. Where did they get it? I don't see it on live.

Edit: Found out it's on Tony Hawk Proving Grounds.

picked up the actual game at Sears in Michigan City, IN. It's about 45 minutes from my dorm, but im sure it was worth it. About to play now. For anyone wondering, they only had disc only copies out for PS2 and 360. I grabbed the last 360 one and there were one or two PS2 copies left.

Lucky.

I'm through the first three tears on hard. Miss Murder and Lay Down proved to be the only songs I had any problems with. I'm barely passing some, but so far it's on about the same level of difficulty as GH2. (I can do very well on medium, but struggle quite a bit on hard)

Any specific questions or anything i'll try to answer.

After the god awful paranoid cover I was surprised that the LaGrange cover is decent. Nobody can recreate either of those songs perfectly though.

Currently the list in the OP has 59 songs, and it is the leaked list, which is supposed to be full, correct? Then why does the current issue of Game Informer have an advertisement for GH3 that says, and I quote "Over 70 Rockin' Tracks". False advertising? Incomplete list? Super secret tracks? Day one DLC rape?

No, the OP list is not full. There are like 73 songs in the game. This was discussed over the last few pages. Please read a thread before posting.

Is there anyone out there that doesnt like having actual masters? I guess for me, part of the charm was the fact that it sounded like a cover.

Hell no! I love Masters and I'll take them over the covers any day.

how could u not like masters?
some of the covers have just been plain wrong or sounded completely off...like killing in the name and stellar :cold:

well killing in the name had to be more "civilized" for the masses and whatnot, a shame though

and to those that got the game early...
how much of a bitch is the devil went down to georgia?
