Yeah I just put in GH2 to play some Thunderhorse and thought the same thing, there has to be a Dethklok pack in the future.

Opening the guitar up and having a look inside might not be a bad idea. Just don't go cutting wires. Could just be dirty buttons or something. I usually have my brother take a look at these things as he's a bit more tech savvy than I am. But it sounds like something that could be fixed.

Which guitar is it anyway?
 
I just joined the tour group, but I don't understand the point of it other than accumulating points (groupies) together to increase our ranking, and to look at our leaderboards. Is there anything else to it? Also, how do I get my scores on those scoreboards? I don't see any of my scores on there.
 
Maybe because its no longer under warranty and just became faulty.
Ive already seen that. The people with my problem said it doesnt work for them. Sigh we pay this much and we still get a faulty pos

First off we are representing the CAGs by climbing up the leaderboards, but also you can compare your scores with other group members which is cool. It also allows anyone cross-platform to join up, so you can compare you scores with people who are playing 360, Wii or PS3 versions.

I'd love to get some people to join up to play co-op or maybe have a CAG tournament sometime if we can do that.

Wow. I played live for the first time today and people daamn good. My scores haven't been updated yet on the tour group rankings, I think. How do I get my scores on there? I played both ranked and player matches and none of my songs are there.
 
Ok, so I sweated through Before I forget on Expert. Ripped my hair out with One and then almost killed myself trying to beat Raining Blood.

Now, my life is completely shattered because of the last Battle on Expert. Lou, is a bastard whore mofo. And I'm serious when I say he is ruining my gaming life. I don't want to play any other games until I beat Lou, but I cannot beat Lou so thus = Cant play any new games.

I've almost shattered my TV, broken my 360 and smashed my Wireless Guitar trying to finish this unforgiving hell song.

One of the hardest songs + Battle powers = Hardest POS ever.

I'm considering shipping my HDD to someone and having them beat it for me for 30 bucks.
 
Theres a super easy way to beat Lou. Look or a youtube video called the "easy way to beat Lou on expert" or something. Pretty much the first powerup you get NEEDS to be a whammy, if not then just restart. Then a few seconds after you get that powerup Lou gets a long row of green notes. Activate the whammy before it and instant win. I wish I knew of that before.

agreed, on expert is fucking impossible to do anything because he gets the first powerup, which then almost always screws up your powerup, and then that process keeps repeating, and if you do get a powerup, it doesnt do shit to him.

You have to remember what the note chart looks like for the first minute or two and just mash the buttons accordingly when he uses powerups. It takes quite a number of plays to survive them consistently.

It might take a day or so to get your stats to update online for the CAGs Tour Group. Have they updated yet? If not you might want to try re-linking your game to your account by getting the code from the Xbox Live menu in the game and re-entering it on the site.

Speaking of the Tour Group, we need to get more people to sign up and keep racking up groupies. We have almost fell off of the first page of the leaderboard. Here is the link so if you have not yet signed up do so today and lets represent CAG!

God I suck at this. I've been playing constantly and I only have 90 achievement points... I 5-starred Medium... and that's about it - I'm stuck on the Muse song in Hard.

I bought that companion pack CD with an early x-mas gift card. I went to the website to get my code and put in all my info. It says I need to go through a confirmation email to go any further but I haven't recieved the email yet. Has this happened to anyone else? Should I make a new account? I really want those songs.

I was stuck on KoC as well, took a few tries but I barely passed it. I don't think I'll ever beat Hard though (damn Metallica song "One")

I fuckING HATE THAT GODDAMN KNIGHTS OF CYDONIA. I cannot beat it on hard - the fucking solo kills me every time and the song is so easy up until that point. DAMMIT.

That song on medium is pretty much the reason why I haven't played again. I was so discouraged after getting to that song, I felt I sucked hard. Been meaning to go back and 5 star the songs on easy, then move up to medium again to try to conquer that beast but I just haven't had the time.

Nope. I just bought it the other day. I believe I registered at the site a few weeks ago in anticipation of getting the disc. Anyway, I put in the code and it brought up a screen with the Xbox redemption code. Worked like a charm.

I didn't receive anything about an email, but like I said above I had already registered so that may have had something to do with it.

They sure are droppin' the ball (with DLC) compared to Rock Band. I guess it only makes sense why they'd try to block Harmonix' patch to let the PS3 LP work with RB.

javery, practice your hammer ons and pull offs. play it in practice mode, thats actually a really good song to practice doing it on. after some practice you can should be able to nail the solo easily. you only have to strum about 10 times, the rest is just pressing the buttons. i used to get flustered trying to keep up with strumming, but once i it clicked, well it was much easier.
 
I think those track packs blow. I would really be willing to pick some GH3 tracks if they released something I really liked. They should try to import songs that wouldn't be easy to make in RockBand. Songs that have almost no lyrics or with little drums.

But at least they are giving away another song. I'd like to see EA do that with RB.
 
Yeah, free songs are always good. The choices are absolutely awful, though, save for Mastodon. Are they gonna add a zeroth tier for the Linkin Park song or what?

Thanks - I'll definitely give it a shot! I want to get to Cliffs of Dover in the next tier because I love that song.
