Judas just went gut first into a board with barbed wire taped to it. Not even a minute later he's walking around like it never happened.

GREAT JOB THERE.
Since when is Scott Hudson a backstage interviewer?
He used to be several years ago. Honestly why they can't have Hudson on play by play instead of Don West is beyond me.

I know. Tenay and Hudson were the 2nd best announce team WCW had, after Tenay/Heenan.

Now THAT'S a good stream. Thanks, Matt.

I thought about driving over to Greenville for the PPV but Impact has been too weak lately to convince me.

Gots ta post something in here so it'll show up on my User CP. (ok, or I could subscribe but whatever)

My one remaining wrestling shirt is the "Mick Foley - Fake Wrestler" one. I tried to find a picture of it but nothing came up. Anyhow, the front has a list of all his injuries up until about 1999, the back has a picture of his head, all bloody with "Mick Foley" above the pic and "Fake Wrestler" underneath it. I keep meaning to splurge on one of those "Cactus Jack - Wanted Dead" ones but something always comes up.

If you didn't see the Tomko swerve coming a mile away..... you really must be blind.
Or among the 99% of us who are smart enough to not watch TNA on a regular basis. Still it was pretty obvious what he was going to do as soon as he made contact with Kurt. Although, truth be told I had no freakin' clue who Tomko was alligned with at this point (I know he was with Christian in WWE) but I try not to watch this shit.

I turned the stream off right before the main event when I realized I didn't give a shit, and probably couldn't have told you the main event to tonight's PPV this morning if you asked me.

That's about how bad TNA is. And unlike WWE they didn't consume a part of my soul as a child, making me a habitual viewer no matter how bad. Although, I must admit there's certain parts of WWE I've been enjoying lately. Poor Kurt.

Stephanie is having another kid.

And I'm going to use this picture to promote ROH coming to Dover. I'll be printing it, getting a ton of copies made and then hanging it all around town. :)

I wonder what the wrestlers will say when they come around and see it. Hahaha.
So anybody watching RAW right now?
No.

---------------

I'm glad to see everybody get help.

There is a message on Jake Roberts' MySpace from rehab in which he talks about the experience thus far and thanks Vince McMahon & WWE. Roberts said, "After all, recovery certainly isn't cheap. Well folks, the truth is, think what you want justify or summarize, I don't care. But Vince McMahon and the WWE saved my life, plain and simple. Do I like it? The fact is, I don't. But I am damned sure grateful. NO I don't like having slid to where I was at, feeling like I did. NO, oh no, but the truth is I was a dead man walking. Still breathing, heart still beating, but my soul was dead and gone. So thank all of you, my friends, my family, my fans, especially Vince McMahon. Thank you for tossing me that life preserver. Yes Vince you threw me a life preserver, and I grabbed hold of it."

-------------------------

If you're wondering where Ron Simmons has been in recent weeks, he recently took up WWE's rehab offer.

Simmons is currently staying at a rehab center in Atlanta.

Simmons was last seen on television at the 12/29 Raw taping in Greensboro in a "Happy New Year's" vignette with Jillian Hall.

Former WWE star "Razor Ramon" Scott Hall has also taken up WWE's rehab offer.

Apparently, Hall had a recent breakdown in Puerto Rico. He then decided to take up WWE's offer.

Hall is staying at the same rehab center former WWE star Jake "The Snake" Roberts is currently situated at, which is in Atlanta. Roberts is currently nine weeks into his fourteen-week stay at the facility.
So anybody watching RAW right now?
I turned it on at 9:05 only to remember this was taped last week and I already know all the spoilers and made a mental note to not watch it because it sounded boring.

No. I'd rather make completely insane posters and post them around town to promote Ring of Honor. Anyone got an idea of what else might be good?

I'm looking forward to HBK/Hardy. I also got a kick out of Birchall debuting the curb job in the WWE, even if it was a setup for his (and everyone's) generic finisher, the test drive (or whatever trillion names it has).

To go with the rehab discussion:

Juventud Guerrera recently spoke with the guys over at InYourHeadOnline.com. During the interview, he mentioned that former wrestler and close friend Sean Waltman (X-pac) had gotten very depressed and tried to committ suicide. X-Pac has been residing in Mexico for the last year or so. Guerrera said that Waltman is now in a treatment facility in the U.S. Guerrera noted that he visited Waltman last week and is doing well.

I can't remember if anyone else had mentioned this here or not.

Birchall doesn't do that backflip thingy anymore? The C4 I believe it was called.

New ROH Poster. This one isn't as good as the lion riding the horse, but I think it still has a what the fuck factor. Does anyone else have a good WTF?! picture I could use?

Excellent main event for Raw, while JBL-Jericho actually impressed me more because of their sub-par work in the ring together at times before "tonight's" match, which was physical, told a great story, and a joy to watch on TV. Between these matches and the great promos by Cena, Flair, and Kennedy, Raw filled me with joy. The impact spoilers fill me with sadness. Also, laughter. Actually, Raw's "WWE IS DRUG-FREE!" PSA did that as well.

Quotes -
J.R. - Hornswoggle took a chunk out of the posterior of his father, Mr. McMahon, which angered him TO NO END! No pun intended.
King - Hornswoggle brought this on himself.
J.R. - HOW DO YOU FIGURE THAT!?
King - Well, all he had to do is kiss his father’s ass.
J.R. - Would like to join the kiss my ass club?
King - No, but you joined.
J.R. - YES, I DID, AND IT WASN’T FUN! Look at Hornswoggle’s face, is that funny?
Vince - Finlay, I want you to remember that you’ve got kids, you’ve got a wife.
Finlay - YES!
Vince - You’re about to throw your entire CAREER AWAY IN ONE MOMENT, and for what? FOR HIM!? I DON’T THINK SO! Finlay, get out of my ring. Get out now, FINLAY! FINLAY, YOU’RE… You just keep on going back - you’re not the kind of Irish I am - don’t make me fire you. Get on about ya business, I’m gonna finish mine. Son, this man isn’t loyal, HE’S A COWARD! GET OUT OF MY SIGHT! (he shoves Hornswoggle, Finlay hits him with the stick)
King - MR.MCMAHON JUST GOT BEAT BY HIS OWN SON… A LEPRECHAUN! SOMEBODY’S GONNA BE FIRED!
J.R. - It’ll be physical - John Cena against the world’s most strongest man -MARK HENRY!
Regal - Mr. McMahon, I’ve got the papers, then you can have him kiss your feet, kiss your ass, or SPITON HIM IF YOU’D LIKE! Look at that hematoma by your ear, it’s full of blood - IT’S DISGUSTING!
Vince - No, I’m not gonna fire him - that’s too good for Finlay. Tonight, with my son, I’M GONNA BE LOCKED INSIDE A STEEL CAGE!
Birchill - What Katie wants, Katie gets.
King - Does Katie want King?
J.R. - It’s doubtful.
King - He’s got a hot sister.
J.R. - That was Jerry Lawler, Hall of Famer.
King - You don’t think that’s a beautiful woman?
J.R. - She’s a handsome lady.
Cena - Randy, you don’t have to get up, but I want you to shut the hell up and listen to what I have to say. I am 100 percent. I’M STRONGER THAN I’VE EVER BEEN, YOU JUST SAW WHAT I DID TO A MAN WHO WEIGHS 450 POUNDS! You’re a smart champion, but your plan isn’t going to work. On Sunday, there’s No Way Out.
Kennedy - Well, here we are, I gave Flair one week to give me an answer. He’s either going to forfeit and retire, or we’re gonna do this thing. I want an answer, and uh, and right now would be a good time for that. So what’s it gonna be, Ric?
Flair - I don’t think we’re on the same page. This is food for thought - before you were born…
Kennedy - Crap
Flair - It’s not crap, it’s a history lesson, and guys who are down here and think they’re up here need to hear. 25 years, 250 days a year so guys like you could work 100 days a week. You wanna claim that I’m so hurt I can’t work Sunday, I don’t think so.
Kennedy - If you knew what’s good for you, you would. YOU JUST DON’T KNOW!
Flair - Once again, you wanted me to walk out here and forfeit, you wanted me to do it face to face - I couldn’t be any closer. The answer is no, and you wanna know why? Because I’ve been YOUR WORLD CHAMPION sixteen times! I know you respect that, because that’s what you wanna be once. I know that you’ve got a great future, but it’s not gonna be at the expense of the Nature Boy. You have to beat me to get where I am, I have to win to survive. So KENNEEDDDY! At No Way Out, the Nature Boy, look as only I’ve looked for 35 years, I WILL GET IN THIS RING AND LIVE TO FIGHT ANOTHER DAY! WOOOO!
J.R. - I’ve got goosebumps…
Santino - I know that Maria is beautiful, I don’t need Mr. Stupid Head Hefner to say that.
Santino - Lay that baby down, Maria.
Santino - Maria, I’m sorry about that, but Maria, that’s what-a happens with the Playboy! You see? You become a target! Just look at the Playboy girls, Torrie Wilson - Injured. Ashley… well, she’s not injured, but we don’t see much of her. What I need to know is it Playboy, or Santino? Maria, you have one week. Unlike these-a losers, Maria, I’m the one that really loves you. Let me show you (he kisses her).
Fans - PLAY-BOY! PLAY-BOY!
King - Hardy’s gonna have his main event at WrestleMania handed to him.
J.R. - Handed? He has to win the elimination chamber, with five other men gunning for him.
J.R. - THE CROWD’S ON THEIR FEET, AND I WANT TO STAND UP AS WELL! IT’S BEEN ONE HELL OF A MAIN EVENT!
J.R. - Michaels explodes into the face of his adversary!
J.R. - HARDYBEATS MICHAELS! JEFF HARDY BEATS SHAWN MICHAELS!
King - WHAT A WIN FOR JEFF HARDY!
J.R. - HOW CAN YOU ARGUE THAT JEFF HARDY ISN’T THE HOTTEST SUPERSTAR RIGHT NOW IN THE WWE!?
King - You’ll get no argument from me or these fans!

I'm partial to this one, but it may not be appropriate for posting all over town...

Hardy/Michaels was epic. I'd love to see those two wrestle a one-on-one (no MITB, no tag teams, no TLC) ladder match against each other one day. This year's Summerslam would be a good time for that.

Anyone watch the old UWF shows on ESPN Classic? I'm behind and just found out they're airing the show...boy...it's something...I know it's old...but damn

I've posting about it (and posting tons of quotes and screens from the shows) since they first started airing on Classic, and they're definitely... interesting. Some eps are good, most are bad, while others are classic uninentional comedy (like the show with a match so bad that Albano insults the wrestlers in it, says they should go back to finish training, and calls them gay. Then Herb Abrams runs in, RUNS WILD...and falls on his ass doing stomps. Tremendous trainwreck TV.

They aired all of them. I didn't know they started again.

Well, by "all", they aired all the tapes that ESPN acquired the rights to. Many more "Fury Hour" shows were taped, but (seemingly) aren't going to be aired on ESPN Classic.
Birchall doesn't do that backflip thingy anymore? The C4 I believe it was called.
I haven't seen him do it in ages. It's not something that can be done to larger wrestlers so easily, so my guess is that WWE wants him to have one finisher that can be equally applied.

I hope he just uses the curb job from now on - it looks devastating, and the test drive is so boring and generic that it's almost a death knell to your career if you use it. Who ever got that move over?

I wish I had a dollar for every guy I saw use the Test Drive, Pumphandle Slam or Playmaker for a finishing move. I'd have about 87 bucks right now

I think having a move that can be applied to virtually any size wrestler is essential.

I remember Reno in WCW using "Roll of the Dice" (Test Drive). First time I ever saw it.

The move I would like to see someone use again is the Big Show's "Final Cut". I loved that moved. I think Gregory Helms used it too.

Just got my ROH DVDs in the mail:

Man Up
Final Battle '07

And from the Grab Bag:
Straight Shootin' w/ Skandar Akbar (wtf?)
Straight Shootin' w/ One Man Gang
FIP Sold Out
ROH: The Best of the Second City Saints (score!)

Now that I have the cash I'll take advantage of the $10 DVD sale.

I agree - plus, the C4 is neat looking, but not all that believable as a maneuver (the same can be said of the Canadian Destroyer, though).

But I think it's *lazy as hell* to go with the "test drive." It's like calling something 'gay' or 'retarded' if you don't like it. Sure, you're getting the point across in an effective way, but it doesn't look like you put any effort into it whatsoever. I hate lazy more than anything else.

EDIT: Purple, the idea of a Skandor Akbar shoot video is kinda appealing to me, since I grew up watching WCCW - but I could see why it might not appeal to everyone.
