He has a great laning phase. After that, he's easy to ignore. His only utility in teamfights is a silence.
 
Its trying to tell you "Yo Waughoo, i know you like to play this game, but you cant carry games like Icedrake and Flippr, so you are not allowed to play without both of them"
 
Figures, I was kicking ass one game yesterday and my internet dropped. When I got back it was too late to stop them. My other two games had bad teammates.
 
3 games yesterday, 2 horrible losses. The 3rd was weird. Waughoo and I were playing, we were losing, but the game froze. A disconnect message popped up, we tried to reconnect, then hit cancel and went back to the main hub, didn't say a game was in progress.
 
I'm beginning to think Guinsoo's job is to think of ways to try to break the game. First he thought of ways to make jungling easier (even though it's fine as it is now, making it easier would just have morons try and fail jungle Annie or something).

Serious question. BFF Sword = BF Sword + Brutalizer + 750. Grants 100 AD, 25 ARpen, 15% CDR, and +25% bonus AD. You buy?
That's a 3737 gold cost (less than IE), but look at that 25% bonus passive. What AD champion isn't going to buy that?
 
I'm still mad my internet went out that one game... I was 18/8/17 when it went out, and I was on my way to gank one of them. With them gone we could have maybe forced a team fight and aced them.
 
My and Flippr have lousy luck when we queue together lately. We like to do Taric+Cait, but the last few games our solo top has failed so Flippr goes to help. Then bot, who we were owning, starts pushing more and gets the turret. Then it all goes to hell. I get focused hard as Taric, too :whistle2:(
 
Yeah, i dont think we should Cait + Taric unless we have a real tank.

The one time we had an Amumu lock in, we thought we had a real tank.

Until the idiot went AP and didnt do anything all game.
 
Anyone who plays AP Amumu should be shot. He's not there to do damage, he's there to stun, his damage is just to help finish off enemies if need be.

Made friends with the enemy Nasus after :) He was so confused on how I was hurting him when he had like 100+ MR and i only had 3 doran rings, sorc boots, and deathcap

Orianna hurts!!

A fed Orianna hurts MORE

A Orianna AND Blitz in the same lane...hurts MOOOOORE

Gragas and Nasus stood no chance.

The only thing is I need blue all the time usually with her.


I got Cait as my main AD

Probably work on Orianna for AP. Both have long ranges which I like and both can carry well into late game.

Orianna's always been good. =P That's why I mained her, owned everyone then quit.
 
Played with the dumbest Amumu today. First, he takes Ignite/Flash. The combo is better for offense champs, not a tank, especially Amumu who should take Ghost/Flash to initiate better.

Then he goes AP and rushes Rylai's. This is the worst item for Amumu. 3 of his 4 spells are multi-hit, so they're not going to slow much at all. His ult last longer than the slow, so that's useless. Then his Q, the only single-target, is a stun which also lasts longer than the slow.

I've been playing Jarvan since I got his Commando skin, went 1-3.

Tryndamere got a new model and is using the Fury system, he gets Fury from each hit and extra from crits and kills, makes his laning and jungling better.

TF and Pantheon lose their global ultimates, now there's a set range. Pantheon has buffs on the way, as you can see in the video, his HSS does nothing.

Corki is getting nerfed. Galio is getting buffs to his durability (FINALLY!) but his damage is being nerfed (since it was really OP :roll:)

I don't get it either. Resolute Smite did decent damage, but it's a skill shot with a slow missile speed. I personally found Righteous Gust to be one of the worst skills, it does nothing at all early and has a high mana cost. And like every one of Galio's abilities (except his ult), the CD doesn't go down with leveling it up. But Riot hates tanks so this is no surprise. As a tank, he's supposed to be durable and his base stats were awful early game, lowest armor and HP of any tank.
 
Tanks are very useful and work well with many compositions, so Riot is doing something right.

Leona is pretty squish though, but I guess she lanes better than most.
 
Just because they're useful doesn't mean they should be nerfed, especially when they already have been so much. Shen's passive got a huge nerf for no reason, Rammus' Powerball got a nerf for no reason, Galio was nerfed into oblivion in the Lux patch, Randuin's Omen has been nerfed more than any other item (CDR went from 15 to 8 to 5, Armor from 90 to 80 to 55 up to 75, cost went up). Frozen Heart and Glacial Shroud each lost 5% CDR.

Amumu is about the only tank that hasn't been nerfed in awhile but I'm sure his days are numbered.

They just put out a new Amumu skin, so expect him to be nerfed in the next week or two.

His passive, which was mostly just used to last hit and harass in lane, got nerfed and sucks now (needs 3k bonus HP to match the old numbers), his shield sucks, and vorpal blade does nothing late game. All he's good for is his taunt and passive which people don't consider fun.

Yeah, one of the few patches I've seen where there's nothing I dislike. I will miss all the extra gold from GP's Parrrley just because he's my co-op/AI champ. It was stupidly OP to get 150% more gold from minion kills than any other champion. Raise Morale deserves a nerf but I'd have rather it gotten a longer CD.

The Jax nerf is kind of dumb but no one plays Jax anyway.
 
Wukong is really fun (yes, i finally unlocked a champ at day 1)!!

I dont think he can solo lane very well and much more suited to a duo lane and paired with someone that has good burst or CC.

This Akali and I laned together vs a Galio and a Karma.

Galio and Karma were not very good, and we had to tower hug for a while. Then we just both went to attack someone and it went VERY well. Akali snowballed with me after 2 kills, and then we just went around ganking people.


Another time it was Cait + me vs a Tristana top.

With Cait's range and my burst, it went very well. We both denied Trist and snowballed from there.

His ult is a little tough to use due to you can not cancel it and it is pretty long. A few times i wished I could cancel it and use my W to run away.

But his R does really great damage.


In summary, he is really fun, but needs a duo lane i think
 
I dont feel like he outputs enough damage. His "Q" scales off nothing, his "W" scales off AP (why you'd ever go AP with him, who knows), and his "E" has a terrible ratio (at one point I had like 150AD and the bonus on my "E" was something like 25 extra damage). Not to mention he is already broken since his "Q" just reduces base armor and doesn't factor in items if the enemy has any.

Wukong came off incredibly weak and basically worthless to use.
 
I laned against one last night. I was really awful, finished 2/10/17, but we won since we had a fed Kayle. Our Xin was dumb though, he built no resistances except Warmogs and Atma's (they had a lot of magic damage) and would run into every fight when we weren't near.
 
Wukong is great IF in his lane he either has a partner with good damge or CC.

Oh, and his Q can be used on towers and crit :)

Cait and I sent a Tristana back in the start of the game and got her tower to around 1/4 hp left really fast

I had LoL downloaded for about 6 months, never touched it. I got bored today, fired it up and 6 hours straight here I am lol
 
Thanks Morphx2, One thing I have a problem with is killing Champions once I get them low on health, they flee and run towards their tower before I can kill them, I only avg about 1-2 champions kill a match, while some are 10+ per match, wondering what strategy to use so I am able to kill the champions like others?

Also when on fourms, I hear people say Q and W attacks for respective characters, What are they talking about?

My 2 characters are Ashe & Tristana (lol some of the other characters look like they be awesome to play with but they cost money) and I want to grasp the basics of this game before I go for Riot points.

One one question, whats the point of being a Jungler? (Where you go into the jungle and kill random monsters that is not of the opposing team) Anything?

Yeah that's always a problem I have too. I'm not so great at getting the kills but I'm the assist master. Don't worry if you aren't getting 10+ kills each round. Assists are just as good IMO, but you just don't get any glory for it.

When they're talking about Q & W attacks, it's basically just that. The spell that is cast when you press Q or W. For instance, Ashe's Q attack enables Frost Shot. Her W attack is Volley.

You shouldn't be afraid to branch out and try different champions. They have a handful of free champions that rotate our every week. Sticking with just one or two isn't a good idea in the long run as you won't know the intricacies of other champions when you're stuck in a lane with them.

Jungling is basically just another way to gain XP and gold.

Dont go for the kill unless you can really do it. Harass as much as you can and poke at them. If you can get the kill great! If not, no biggie

I guess I dident put two and two togother when it came to be called that because of the keys assigned to them (I use a Razor Naga MMOG gaming mouse) cause I always use the keys on the mouse to activate skills (12 hot keys on side of mouse, extremely good mouse for gaming)
