I broke my pledge not to buy $3.99 CMFs plenty of times, but I think I'm burned out on feeling up bags. I have only seen the new series a couple times at Target and every time passed.S@H already has the CMF series as 'sold out' so of course the LEGO world is freaking out and saying they are being recalled and all types of crazy shit.
However this could be a bigger problem for fans. If they are selling so well then why not increase the price again? Keychains went up $1 at the first of the year, why not make the Disney series (That hasn't been officially announced.) $5 each if they are selling so well?
The currently rumored to be recalled based on nothing series 15 is currently on sale for 5% off at TRU. Series 12 was $3 in January from TRU, and they sometimes do 2 for $5 or $6 sales around Christmas, but I have never seen any in stock then.I bought the monster themed one, series 14, outright on ebay. It was kind of a mixed bag (get it?) but we bought a really cheap display case at Target when they had some on sale and my son really likes keeping them in that. I'll likely buy the Disney set on ebay as well if I can do it for 15 bucks above MSRP. I've mostly stayed away otherwise and wanted to ask if there was anywhere these things go on sale?
I was wondering this the other day too. I want more LoSH minis!Somehow despite being a big LoSH fan I had no idea that the Cosmic Boy polybag was exclusive to the new Bluray/DVD movie until I happened to see a copy at Costco.
Now where's Saturn Girl?
Oh man, there is one about 25 miles away per brickseek . I may make a drive for it tonight. Thanks for the heads upDang, the Gorilla Grodd set is $13 at some WMs now, if you can find it.
It was for me the other day too. I went back to target to buy another one of those buildable figure sets for $17.xx so I could return it with the receipt from the $41.xx I bought the day before. They were all still $41.xx. First time I've had a price be wrong.Brickseek has been inaccurate for me lately. Said all the new Bionicles were on clearance for like $4-$5, but I could not find a single figure. I did end up getting an older one for $1....yep, a Buck. It was the smaller Stone set from last year, but hey....$1.
That's happened to me when the markdown crew hasn't done their thing yet.It was for me the other day too. Fyndly.com is good and also shows clearance prices. Surprised you still have the Ghost in you area. Haven't seen that in my area forever. So my son and I are pretty into Star Wars Rebels since we started watching it recently.I was looking for the Ghost and found it a local store but I noticed Target and Brickseek have conflicting stock. I don't want to drive out there if I can help it unless I know it's there but I'd also love to know if it's clearanced. Are there any other sites that could tell me the stock with accuracy in the Atlanta area?
You couldn't wait until tomorrow to get double points?Busy weekend - had some gift cards/exchanges so waiting for double VIP points wasn't an option - picked up the Brick bank with Kai's mini dragon (usually don't care about Ninjago but this one is cool), carbonite freeze chamber and the Grievous/Kenobi two pack which was on clearance at Target for $18!
Same with me and my son. I couldn't have cared less about these sets initially, but now that we've been following the show we've had to scramble to find them.So my son and I are pretty into Star Wars Rebels since we started watching it recently.I was looking for the Ghost and found it a local store but I noticed Target and Brickseek have conflicting stock. I just saw the ghost somewhere. Let me know what store you were seeing it at and I'll see if it was one I've been to recently. So my son and I are pretty into Star Wars Rebels since we started watching it recently.I was looking for the Ghost and found it a local store but I noticed Target and Brickseek have conflicting stock. I was looking to go to thee Duluth (pleasant hill) Target in Georgia. Target.com says limited stock but brickseek says zero. It looks like B&N has it and I could get around 27% off that with my coupon and discount but if I recall correctly it was clearanced at 50% for a while in many stores so if that Target had it at 45 bucks that would probably be worth the drive. Calling a Target has always been futile in my experience or I would have done that as well.I just saw the ghost somewhere. Let me know what store you were seeing it at and I'll see if it was one I've been to recently.
Do you remember if they were on a decent clearance?Though others say never call, at this point I would. Call toys or electronics and give the DPCI and have them look. I saw these recently at Walmart. I just can't remember the exact location, I think the stone mountain location on memorial.
The big car set that goes for $99. I think it's $75.Mini?
Checked BrickSeek and no Ghosts at any Targets or Walmarts in my area. Not surprised though as I haven't seen them in ages
Thanks, the good news is there's a B&N near me with one. The bad news is that they don't allow the use of coupons anymore so the best I can do is my 10% which essentially makes it tax free. Anyone have any thoughts on if it's a good set or not?Mini?

Oooh Mini Cooper, got yaThe big car set that goes for $99. I think it's $75.
BN coupons never work on Lego with the exception of the architecture sets which are classified as educational toysThanks, the good news is there's a B&N near me with one. They used to all the time. I even got them to work on Lego Mindstorms when the coupon only stipulated those and not other legos. My guess is that employees were either manually entering the discount out of convenience and that they recently received an upgrade that started working with the UPC and maybe even updated employees on it. Heck, I used one on Saturday for the Scooby Van and it worked. Not a huge deal, just makes the membership a little less valuable to me.Oooh Mini Cooper, got ya

They were member coupons that came every few months.Yeah you must've gotten lucky with them manually overriding any restrictions. We're these just the normal email coupons?
