Just got my confirmation also. I wished they would have mailed it sooner like Friday or Saturday. Also does anyone know how they ship there packages? There has been alot of fuss about the LE Halo 3 disks being loose and fear if its in a yellow pad its going to be a mess as my post office is pretty ghetto with my packages.
 
Just got my ID # also. I feel bad for mn, prolly should of asked to see if he could of picked it up instead. Oh well, hopefully it will be here by tommorrow in South Carolina (crosses fingers)

I wasnt allowed to mail it on friday. if i did some people could get the game early and I will not ever break street date. Some Ups orders did go out friday and that is because my distribuotr can time the arrival. the packages are shipped in yellow bubble mailers. The yellow mailer wouldnt be the cause of the scrathed disk the bad design would be.
 
All halo 3 orders were shipped by 1:30 today. The website wont update since I sent every an email with the delivery confiramtion number in it.
 
You should have scammed threatened POLITELY convinced the USPS into rushing all your Halo 3 orders in return for the botched Bioshock shipments. :D

I really hope mine gets here Wednesday...

Today when I dropped off all the games they called the hartford distribution center to let them know they were coming. The hartfor office said "is this the order we are suppose to be looking for? " They got a call from the head of the business delopement team. On top of that i received this email today from the manager of consumer affairs.

Is there anyway you can get a list of the zip codes where this mailing will be sent? I have notified my network of co-workers nationally, all are onboard with helping to ensure timely delivery of your mailing and this additional information will help us tremendously

Needless to say they didnt take the bioshock situation lightly.

Yes we need to see if how microsoft intends to handle the problem if it is a major one. The pain in butt thing here is when things are defective you have to ship back the entire game. The game is heavy and it isnt cheap to ship.

Man I'm glad I just bought the regular version. I don't care about Master Chief Helmets or Little Halo Figures, I just want the game and I want it damn cheap J\K:lol:

winsted ct is only 1 hr 40 min from where i am i hope i get mine tomorrow that would be awesome i got the middle shipping. is that possible?

Good to see the USPS is trying to match the personal level of customer service certain store owners in this thread continually work towards. ;)

If they get my package to me by Wednesday, I will seriously considering sending a thank you to your local post office.

If you paid for ups shipping then you wouldnt have received an email. But most ups orders should arrive on 9/25.

Update on the Halo Collector's Edition: it sounds like MOST of them are going to be scratched, but MS has an exchange program where if you mail the disc in by New Years, they'll send you back a replacement free of charge:

So unless your copy is too scratched to play, just enjoy it now, and once you've beaten it send it in to get a fresh, scratch-free copy.
 
Tony is right, I got the email yesterday in my Junk mail folder. I use Yahoo by the way, it was sitting in SPAM.

I know how you feel. Ive been so busy for the last couple of weeks that I didnt have time to check my email as often as I do. My wife's great grandmother passed away and my job has been crazy since this is the first month of school (I work for NYCDOE). By the time I read Tony's email it was too late so I hope I get it today but realistically I dont think I will get it until tomorrow. Oh well, the game's price was great so I cant complain, FINISH THE FIGHT!

I live about an hour away and upgraded to priority shipping and received Halo 3 at about 12:30PM today. I would bet that if you didn't get it today you will certainly have it tomorrow. The USPS is really on top of the orders from Lion Games this time around. Good luck everyone and thanks again Tony for the great customer service. If other EB & GS stores put in the time and effort that you do they might do a better business.

On the official USPS site mine says: Delivered, September 25, 2007, 10:11 am, CRANSTON, RI 02921.


Then I had someone get my mail at about 12:30PM to confirm.
 
USPS has yet to change for me. Status is: "Your shipment was accepted/picked up at 1:30 PM on September 24, 2007 in WINSTED, CT 06098 ."
