Lost Season 3!!! (Beware of Spoilers)

I'll tell you why ratings have dropped, they killed off motherfucking Mr. Eko, the greatest character on the show!

Anyways, I got a feeling we might see who actually caused Locke's injury and why he's went all gung-ho, which actually is awesome.

This season is finally starting to pick up after they finally ended that lame love triangle and are focusing on awesome again.

Wasn't he hit by a car?

Agreed
They've never said, but from the one image that they showed of them putting Locke in a bed, he looked like he got beaten bad.
He actually looked like he exploded. It was probably the gangsters that were looking for his dad...or maybe that's what they want us to think.

I found a video on youtube with a preview for the 3/21 episode only I don't think its the exact same preview that they showed at the end of the 3/14 episode

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZWYvIxR9LE

At the very end it shows Locke saying to Ben that he wants to know where the submarine is. I could swear that part wasn't in the preview before

I think the part in the preview had Locke pointing the gun at Ben and saying something but I didn't catch any submarine.

So I'm flipping through the channels and I see that this episode is titled, "The Man from Tallahassee." I don't watch the show so can anyone enlighten me as to the connection with Tallahassee? Does it have something to do with the MagLab here at FSU?

Man that episode was really good. Definately gives me a little faith that Season 3 will be good from here on out.

I can't believe Locke's dad was on the island. I guess he's the man from Tallahasse?
Man, I saw that coming from a mile away.. but, I still thought the episode was enjoyble.
I saw it coming to for sure, but it was still cool. I was like
"It's Locke's dad" and then I was like, well maybe it's the son that was killed, and then I was like nah it's Locke's dad, and sure enough...

Wow... that whole episode was predictable. Blatantly predictable. Oh well, still a pretty good show. This season has indeed been fantastic with damn near no filler (i'm looking at you Hurley episode). Although that filler was entertaining so it was a wash.

So Locke is now like... god of the island?

Excellent episode. All of the character interactions were better than they had been recently. While I'm one of the few who's enjoyed all of the episodes up to this point in the season, I'm hoping that upcoming episodes feel more like this one.

got damn man I cant stand Locke, his character is just so naive and immature.

Henry Gale on the other hand, now dats a guy u cant fuck with.

u wanna fuck with Henry Gale? fuck you~! Henry Gale fucks with you!

Henry Gale dont give a fuck.

Henry Gale will fuck you the fuck up.

Henry Gale cant even fuck with Henry Gale.

hey locke blew up that computer that said enter XX for a food drop. If that was the only computer then i guess everyone is ##$#$# cause there is no more food drops.

Expect outsiders to come to the island wondering why they havent heard from the island. I say that is the cliff hanger of Sesaon 3 . New people invade the island

Nah, cliffhanger is gonna be when a big tidal wave comes.

Or when Korea decides to do a nuclear bomb test on a "deserted island"

I liked this episode a lot. I didn't see anything coming, possibly because I try not to figure stuff out during the episode, I stopped doing that a while ago, makes the episodes more interesting.

However, I'm kind of getting tired of this:

Character 1: *Interesting Dialogue*

Character 2: What do you want from me?

You mean Benjamin Linus?

I say locke father ripped off swayers mother or they are somehow connected.

Also anyone notice that lockes father was drinking the same kind of booze that that boss guy say that little amount was worth more then desmond could make in a year
Best fucking episode in a long while....this one went back to its roots.
One of the top 10 episodes for sure.

Yep I noticed it.

All this talk about this past episode, and no one has said how fucked up it was that Lockes dad is the one the put him in a wheelchair, and how he did it. A great episode, this is the type of episode that reminds me why I watch lost.

I love Lockes line "Is the man from Tallahassee a code for something."
Ben: "No unfortunately John, we don't have a code for there's a man in my closet with a gun to my daughters head. Even though we obviously should."

Also Bens other line

Locke: "Where do you get the electricity?"
Ben: "We have two giant hamsters running in a massive wheel in our secret underground layer."

I like when the show pokes fun of itself like that.

great episode this past week....as for the slidcages comments about outsiders coming to the island, that might tie in with the at least 2 new characters mentioned a couple pages back. In tvguide it is said that they are not from the flight and not the others

Its not that I didn't like this episod, its just... there are so many things going and every episode brings up a new freaking storyline. I am all for a bunch of crazy storylines, but I just don't want to be disapointed by the creators either tying everything together weakly or not tying things together at all and just forgeting about them.

I want the crazy monster thing to come back and I also want to know if the others are aware of this thing and how they interact with it.

I liked this filler episode. It was very Tales from the Cryptish...oh and LANDO!

An awesome way to kill off 2 lame ass characters, as intended from the beginning of the season.

That's exactly what it was - a useless morality play episode that did nothing to further the huh-plot of the series.

At any rate, at least they did a real clever job in staging and editing these two useless characters into the events of the pilot and other occurences across three seasons.

Wow some useless charaters they added just to kill them off died! Shocking!

And the twist to these charaters is the fact that they are mean! Wow! That was so shocknig! I so didn't see that coming! That was so different than stuff they have done in the past!

And then he preview for next week's episode is a white tee shirt contest bitch fight!!! All right!!!!

I agree this one sucked. Normally every tv show runs two story lines through a show to keep the audience from getting bored.

On the positive side. I guess its fair to say that they told their whole story, and killed them in one episode instead of dragging it through 6 episodes over 2 seasons.
man that episode really sucked

the only good part about it is that now (hopefully) Nicky and Paulo are out of the picture
You never know, maybe they will dig themselves out and give Hurley a heart attack instead:)
Zombie episode!
I sorta thought that when she opened her eyes. I was thinking that when they were shoveling dirt on her. That it would wake her, and she pops out of the grave. I know Hurleys reaction would be awesome.
Honestly, I love how Sawyer says what everyone's already thinking.

"Who the hell is Nicky?"
i was laughin WELL into the commercial break on that one! and Sun's swiftly moving up my "annoying" list, i dunno why...

plus, i was hoping theyd talk about Walt's crazy shit (Linus and the blonde chick, forget her name already) when they mentioned Michael...I hope they can explain that shit in a cool way, not making sound too hokey. And they couldn't have made next week's episode any LESS appealing to me, another whiney Kate show, wooo...

No, the best was when he said directly to her during their fight "and who the hell are you anyway?"

The writing of the dialog has really improved as of late. The show in general really seems to be firing on all cylinders again which is great. I'm glad that I thoughed through last season and the beginning of this season cause, while its still not back to the level of awesomeness it was in season 1, its still damn good.

Ha, that was great too. At first, I was thinking this was the "jump the shark" episode, with lazy writing putting Paolo and Nicky in all of the main places on the island long before anyone else was. The CG plane crash additions were amusing, but the ending made it worth it. Sort of a light-hearted gift to the fans of this show that were against Nicky and Paolo from the beginning. In Nicky's defense, she had a nice rack.

My only question came when Sawyer and Hurley were looking at Arzt's bugs. Who the hell has been keeping them alive?
