dont know what level, 89k. i always die at the skin with red and white dots block.

on vs cpu mode, i always die on the robot skin .... its very hard to see the blocks there

That's my only complaint....sometimes the color changes and schemes are too brutal for the eyes. I've gone two levels above the red and white dot blocks, and then I struggle.
 
91K or so. I forget the level. I usually struggle on the levels with circular beads since I get into a groove looking at blocks the change in shapes throws me off alot.
 
Level 95, 251K points and change.
Why am I so good? Because this game has stolen my soul! I picked up Lumines and God of War as my last 2 purchases and I played Lumines at least 3 times as much.
 
I only played twice, second time scoring about 27k. Still didn't quite grasp everything, except for the obvious fact that the game is awesome.
 
How do you play puzzle mode? I'm confused on what you supposed to do.

My highest score on challenge mode so far is LVL 28 56K
 
How far have some of you gotten on puzzle mode? I'm currently on "clear all."

I got my highest score last night in between my Halo 2 matches, a whopping 50k...Granted I haven't had the chance to practice it much, but I will eventually.
 
I haven't played in a while, but I'm at level 52 with a little over 100,000 points.

I like the song with the slow timeline. It is easier to get massive combos, but you do have to be careful not to go overboard and fill up the screen too quickly.

I finished Puzzle mode completely today. Only made it through two CPU battles :(

My high score so far is 55,000. Pretty bad compared to you guys.

I don have my PSP on me, but memory says:

Challenge score is 100K+ (tho I dont think not that much more)

also plz post your time attack scores too! (60 second scores)

I think my 60 second score is like 52 or 57 (but I think 52 is right). My goal is to break 60.
 
My high score on challenge mode is 238,315. I think I was on level 89 when I died. My 60-second time attack high score is 50 even, which unlocked a character. I was so pissed the couple times I scored 49 before I hit the 50 mark!

My Challenge score is around 126,000. I'm on arrows x2 for puzzle mode. I'm tempted to ask how many puzzles there are, but I kind of want it to be a surprise. I think I've beaten around 7 opponents in vs. CPU. Also owned anyone I've played in multiplayer -- though my record shows two losses because my friend and I switched units so he could see if my 1 dead pixel was bothersome.

For the "clear all" puzzle question, you just have to erase ALL blocks on the board in the allotted time. When I did it (after many tries), it only took around 30 seconds.
 
my new record of 95,000 is still crappy compared to you guys. My hands gave out on me around that time as it took me 45min-1hour to get that far.

Do you get anything for Time Attack?
 
100k? Wow.

I've gotten 60k+ at about level 34 and to the 4th CPU opponent. I still have to get used to using the special clear blocks to their optimum potential.
 
55,000...wow, I didn't think everyone else hated those red and white balls as much as I did...

oh, is there anyway to listen to the soundtrack when you aren't playing?
 
I think I beat the game. (Spoilers ahead)












Got to level 116 with 342,857 points. At about level 100 I got the most beautiful skin called "Lights" and the music had waves crashing. At level 106 the skins started from the beginning. I also got a bonus skin called "Rodent," but Lights is the prize.
 
some new scores:

60 second: 60 (YEA!)

180 second: 151 (enough to unlock a new character)

new max combo: 19! (did it in the level in challenge where the line moves hella slow. sucks tho that Im one short of 20...)

Ima make another Challenge mode attempt later before I sleep!

damn, I'm nowhere near you guys! my top score in challenge mode is ~47,000 for ~30 minutes, always losing on the blue and white skin. By the time I get there, I get really psyched out by the music and start going crosseyed from the sensory overload and transcendent state of gaming bliss XD
 
jus got 288,852.

woulda got more but the problem is when u get that far the game gets real fast and I ended up getting disturbed by a family member.

dont feel like playing for another hour, I should make another attempt sunday

Dang..I could only do 50 in 60 sec. and my record for 180 sec. is only 135 so far...15 blocks away

I didn't think the red and white beads were bad at all, I actually like that skin.

I recently beat Puzzle mode. Good stuff. I'll probably chill out on Lumines for a while now. Not sure whether to dig deep into THUG 2 or Acid next. THUG 2 is a little rough to control on PSP.
 
353,000 last night up to level 111. Lights was the last one I got.

I am still missing a few things though :(
I still have 3 guys to beat CPU challenge mode.
I also still have to beat times for last three in time attack.

I think I am going to take a break in order to play Splinter Cell Choas Theory.

dat's 2 hours wasted! I coulda been doing something better!

my new resolution is to only play this game on sunday, when I got the time to waste...

Can't seem to get over 280k for high score. Not sure what level that is, but I was getting a bunch of clear screen bonuses of 10,000.

It took me a while to figure out you can pause, turn off your PSP, then continue at a later time. What a great feature!
 
Man, you young guys sure can go and go :)...

Granted, I've only played it twice for about 2 hours a piece, but I think my high score is like 20,000. Don't have my PSP here so I can't verify. Freaking pathetic though compared to what I'm seeing here.

I was going to post here asking what the point was since I don't ever seem to get anywhere or unlock anything! I got a few skins - is that all there is to it, more and more skins?

I also couldn't figure out the puzzle mode - at first I thought I had to cover the pattern with the blocks, but then I realized that would be pretty impossible :). Yeah I'm sure it is mentioned in the manual, but who looks at those! I would have gotten around to it eventually - so you *clear* all the blocks. THAT I might be able to do (vs the marathon sessions where my eyes lose the ability to focus after 20 minutes).
