GG. Despite going down 21 points early and losing, it was a pretty interesting and fun game throughout. Might be just me making excuses but, the absence of Wilfork and Mayo was felt in the middle. Seemed like Turner had alleys to run through to fit a large Semi truck.
Turner definitely had a big game and I wouldn't be surprised to see him as one of the leagues rushing leaders come seasons end.

yea it did seem like turner had big holes for days lol - was a fun game
 
Bucs defeat the Rams 38-24 and are undefeated at 3-0 for the season. However this was a bitter sweet victory having lost 2 key defenders (Gamble and Ruud) for (3-4) weeks.
 
Tell me about it..!! Beat the Giants 55-8 but lost Jonathan Stewart for 8 weeks....it happened early in the 4th quarter too, I was just too lazy to sub in my backups :(
 
I got no response about my game, what am I supposed to do I'd no one offered to sub?

So you advanced but bitched about me not being in the forum a full six hours after I initially brought it up. I waited around all afternoon, excuse me for having a life. If this is how your gonna treat people then replace me.

If you get no response from your game then pm me and if we can't find a sub asap then you can play the CPU. This was a deadline day so skipping the thread for 6 hours is sort of a big gap of time. I don't think that's unreasonable.

Sorry that I couldn't play my game guys. Tried last night but something came up and the Steelers guy had to go.

Well if someone knows the Bengals owner... I'm down to play tonight. I'll try to PM him.
 
GG Ube... Madden had it in for me this game. Didnt matter what i id on either side of the ball, Madden wasnt tryna let me get anything going

Countless dropped passes capped off by Anquan Boldin dropping a 2-pt conversion when he was WIDE fuckING OPEN.

Lost my both my strong safeties, and my KR to injuries... and Chris Johnson had an abysmal game rushing the ball. I knew this season would be a lil rough but come on...
 
with all the injuries to key players i have right now, the next 5 games are gonna be brutal... if any team in my division can beat me at least one game in the 2 game series, i probably wont make the playoffs this year... fuck

I was in the thread from 1:30 until around 6pm when I had to leave. It's one thing to have to wait 5 hours and get no reply about a sub, It's another to get called out for not being around when I clearly was based on my posts.

It wasn't really aimed just as you FYI. And I'm not going back through the thread but I'd have to guess if you said "hey I need a sub, I'm gone at 6 on advancing day" I would have found someone or had you play the CPU. I can't guess everyone's schedule.

Laron Landry 2 interceptions and a sack in his Pantherial debut! BAMF!! And Captain Munnerlyn with 2 interceptions of his own that game....matching his CAREER total with the Panthers in this league.

Man we've never seen such a strange top 5 Power Rankings in this league lol...Panthers at #1, then Chargers, then...Patriots, Bills, and Jaguars? I know it's really early in the league but still....pretty crazy. No Uber, Cru, sprice, mog, Doom, Deuce, Ramesu....you guys better step it up

Categorically false, at least for me. I'm off to a good start though, I hope I can keep it going, my division is pretty tough. I'm just hoping for a return to the playoffs for the first time since season one's 11-4-1 record.
 
a flurry of decimating injuries has put the Ravens in a unfamiliar position... but the season is young and we still need to find our identity now that Flacco and Rice are gone

Browns 52 - Chargers 35

Turns out MasterAwesome DID jinx me. Thanks buddy!

The score says this was a 17 point game but it was actually a 3 point game. The Chargers intentionally allowed a TD to get the ball back and then Rivers threw a sack/pick six on the last play.

This was a game in which absolutely no defense was played, the entire difference was that Antonio Gates fumbled on the Browns' 10 on the first drive of the game. Other than that both teams scored on every offensive possession until the end.

Rivers was 15 of 17 for 330 yards, 3 TDs and 1 pick (though it was when he was pressured on a hail mary at the end).

Mathews carried 10 times for 119 yards and 2 scores.

Gates did the bulk of the damage through the air, catching 6 passes for 156 yards and 2 TDs (the 4th consecutive game he's had 2 scores). Jackson had the other TD.

Colt McCoy was 16 of 24 for 200 yards and 2 TDs.

Steven Jackson was ridiculous, carrying 21 times for 216 yards and 2 scores, he was back-breaking ALL game.

Rookie Elliot Moore had 6 catches for 109 yards and a TD, Cribbs had the other.

gg man! I felt like I came into the game with a pretty good handle on what you liked to do on offense, but I just couldn't stop it. 9 for 9 on 3rd down pretty much speaks for itself, my defense was abysmal, it's back to the drawing board in that area.
 
It was definitely a fun game, though not going to go on any defensive highlight reels, that's for sure. The game was really over when I failed to get the onside kick at the end, he just happened to put up 14 points after that, haha.
 
Sucker...!! So aside from the forced pick at the end, you went 15 for 16 for 330 yards and 3 TDs, and also 10 carries for 119 yards and 2 TDs? And you still lost? Lol wow your defense must have REALLY failed hard...
 
Did you not read where he was 9 for 9 on 3rd downs? Many of those were runs on 3rd and 4 or 5 too. We're talking historically bad defense.

Steven Jackson is one of those backs who gets 3 or 4 yards on the end of pretty much every tackle just by falling, he's insane. His YPC weren't any higher than Mathews', but he was just relentless. I've never been scored on that efficiently.
