Anyone experienced the Attack Speed Glitch on Dragon Age 2 yet? Happens when you befriend Isabella and take her out of your party. Your speed decreases and it's just game breaking.

Really? I guess I'm lucky, I've had Isabella in my party and took her out almost immediately and had no issues. The only glitch I came across so far is sometimes when out of battle I took out my weapons and instead of putting them away my hands would just be stuck out (two weapon rouge). They would even look that way in non-gameplay conversations. I switched out weapons and it reset itself.

Since there's only 12 teams left that have yet to pick up a FA. I'm going to open it up to the rest of the league now. If you haven't picked up your ONE FA yet, then you are welcome to do so.
 
Well I read up on it more, there seems to be more to it then just taking her out of your party. It's when you have a full friendship with her and in act II there are points where she is automatically removed from your party. When that happens, your battle speed stacks -5% each time. By the time my girlfriend reached the end of Act II, she was fighting in slow mo. I told her it was probably framerate issues, but then I looked into it and a lot of people have it and are pissed. How the fuck that glitch made it through testing I'll never know. It makes me wonder if the testers actually play through the whole game.

I'm still on Act I, but I guess I'll make sure I never become friends with her! I don't like her anyways, especially since I'm playing as essentially the same character. I planned on using her in my warrior or mage play through though. Not a fan of Varric and that's the only other rouge I've met so far.

I'm actually dying to make a tank next time because I really hate having to use whatshername in my party.
 
BTW Panthers pick up David Gettis (WR) and drop Colin Cole (DT). Gettis was actually originally a Panther...but I dropped him a long time ago and he's been rotting away in Free Agency ever since. I figured the rule about you being able to resign a player on your team doesn't apply to players you dropped from the 1st or 2nd season...but maybe I'm wrong!

P.S. I play CPU Saints right? Or are we doing subs...I have a tough time keeping track of these things.

Probably because it's not a stat which shows up anywhere. Thanks again for bringing it to my attention, I think I was affected some but I was able to catch it before it got too bad. I'm sure they'll fix it in the first patch, I think the fact that none of the DLC Achievements work is just as bad.

I think I'm done with this game. I just don't enjoy playing it. It's a chore.

Edit: redygo I'll boot soon. And by done I mean the end of this season.
 
Actually if anyone wants to play commish I really wouldn't mind if I never pick up this game again

Edit: gg Jon. Despite the picks this was one of my least frustrating games vs you. I was testing your LBs all day and probably got burned one too many times. My only problem with the game was that I wished I was playing dragonage instead hah

Sorry to hear that, I've been thinking this is my last season with how busy I've been at work and what-not but, I still haven't had too much of a problem with scheduling games so once it does that'll probably be it.

Am I clear to play the CPU Dolphins at this point? once the work week hits I'm pretty much out of commission.

I'm with you, this is probably my last season as well, I need a few months break until Madden 12.
 
Should we shut it down until the summer then? At least we'll have something to play during the summer drought of gaming. It's up to you guys, I wouldn't want to continue in a league watered down with new members who don't communicate.
 
I've been battling with whether or not to step away from the league for a while and seeing so many people leaving, i think i'm gonna jump on the train as well... after this season (both leagues) i'm done with Madden til 12 comes out most likely. I'm gonna trade Madden in and get something to hold my attention.

Bengals owner, when can u play?
 
Really sorry guys, I really want to keep going in both leagues but I just don't have the time right now. I'm gonna have to bail, the Browns are free now.

I think it's just reached the point where getting games in has become more of an obligation than something I look forward to. I've played all of the core guys so many times that I feel like there's nothing new to see in this game.

Maybe we should all do a MLB11: The Show league (though I hear the online is super laggy).
 
Isn't that on the PS3 only? I don't think it's safe to assume that a lot of people in this league have PS3s AND 360s...although I recently became one of those people! I really don't like baseball in general but my friend had MLB10: The Show and I was addicted to "Road to the Show" or whatever when you create your own player. But I'm still not so sure I'm gonna end up buying it unless it has a ridiculously sweet sale.

And I still have a lot of fun in this league (only seems to be this league...I've quit 2 other ones because I'm starting to get bored with the game as well), but if Uber isn't even gonna play in it then that's not a very good sign. I'd be okay with postponing the league for a while...
 
i'm down for postponing cuz i just realized i cant trade in the game cuz it's damaged... would we pick up where we left off or would we be starting from scratch?
 
Do you guys play online shooters? I play with Deuce and Cru once in a while(Black Ops). That's about the only other thing I can think of. I doubt everyone here has a PS3.
 
I picked up mlb 2k11 on the 40% off sale. Been only playing single player "my player" mode (similar to race to the show). From what I've read about both baseball games the show is better but 2k11 is much smoother online (maybe it is stripped down to bare bones to make it run smooth). I haven't tried an online game yet but I'm having a lot of fun playing a baseball game for a change.
 
How is NBA 2k11? I know I heard some banter about it prior on the forums, and was thinking about picking it up if there were enough people into it. Not the biggest NBA fan but with the strike coming it's either that or NHL (which is what I'm starting to learn toward).
 
Best basketball game ever made to be honest. The online association is sometimes a pain in the ass, but it's still not too bad.

I can't imagine playing MLB 2k in a franchise. Minimal lag just screws everything up. Not a fan of NHL or FIFA so that's out as well.
 
I agree with Doomtime on NBA 2K11. Also, I have a ton of games for the 360 and a decent amount for the PS3, if people want to play other stuff with me.

It's pretty simple, especially this time around. Obviously special moves are different and comboing into specials and supers take time to figure out, but everyone does basic combos with L+M+H+S(launch).
 
Basics are easy; competing online is ridiculously difficult if you don't know what you're doing. There's a reason the guide is 400 pages and full of tiny print.
 
Those games are so hard and frustrating for me...I spend so long in the Mission Mode trying to learn and perfect all the long and complicated combos and then when I try to apply those against my opponents online, I just get destroyed by people who obviously have no skill who just sit there and mash buttons all day long. I try to get in close to start up the combos but I can't get anywhere near them :(
