Madden 11 League-OFFICIAL CAG LEAGUE-That's all folks! Mini-tourney still coming tho!

Hey friends! Anyone starting to get back into the Madden spirit a bit? I wouldn't say I'm itching to resume our franchise, but it's definitely starting to come back to me. And I'm about 95% sure I'm gonna buy Madden 12 regardless of the lockout...I can't wait to try out Cam Newton even though they're probably gonna give him like a 70 rating at best.

Not at all. I have an LA Noire itch to scratch tomorrow and a case of Diablo 3 that won't be fixed any time soon.

Ditto on both counts. I'm accumulating a list of all the people I know who will be playing Diablo 3 so I'm sure I don't have to play anything else for about 4 or 5 months once it's released.

I played Darth a few days ago and I'm definitely feeling it a bit. I doubt I'll pick up Madden 11 full-time again, but with the lockout seemingly over I'm definitely on board for 12.

I actually haven't played much of anything lately. I'm going to try to find some time for Alan Wake and Portal, but I really want to pick up MvC3 again especially because of Thor. Not that I loved the movie all that much, but for some reason it made me want to play as him.
 
The game I'm most worried about taking away from my Madden time is Rage. I think it comes out a couple weeks after Madden '12 comes out, so I'm gonna be juggling those 2 almost right off the bat. I'll definitely be hitting up Diablo 3 too, but I don't think that comes out til January 2012 or at least til December, so I'd have already played a good bit of Madden '12 at that point. There are rumors going around that Diablo 3 might be released for the consoles too...I might have to settle for the console version cause I'm pretty sure I'd have to buy a new computer to run the PC one. Plus, lying down on the couch and playing games for me is infinitely better than sitting in a chair playing on a desktop.
 
Whats up guys, its been a long time. Sorry about leaving w/o much notice, had some personal issues that I had to deal with and wasn't really up to doing anything for a while, I just shut down.

But, I will be back for next season of Madden 12! haha

When and how will we be picking teams?

But I'm def looking forward to madden 12! An if there.s anyway I could get my hometown team baltimore that be great jus let me know when we will be picking teams!
 
I hate it when they have "limited editions" of sports games. They never hold their value. Seriously, it's just as bad as buying a new car. Damn thing depreciates in value the moment you take it to the register.

I'm not pissed about buying the Madden 2005 Anniversary Edition or anything... fuck.

Hopefully the Cards can get their shit together and grab Kolb. The addition of Peterson during the draft is nice but without a QB, any form of pass rush, and no O-line they should be a project in '12.
 
Darn, I might have to arm-wrestle Deuce for the Panthers this time around...Cam Newton made them a whole lot more appealing. And Doom, you're only allowed to use bad teams!

Yeah, this will most likely be the case. Obviously if a player quit or left on bad terms (can't think of anyone off the top of my head) then that goes out the window. But I'd like to keep some consistency.

If anyone comes across any Madden 12 deals please feel free to alert everyone in here. I definitely want to at least get a $20 gift card out of it if I'm going all in on release date again!

Yeah best deal I've seen on Madden so far is the $20 giftcard on Amazon. Don't think it will get much better than that.

I'll be getting in on that deal most likely, though I'm waiting to see if we're still going to do the league even if the season remains in limbo.
 
For now ill stick with 49ers I am interested in seeing wat other teams become available? I would love to have a strong fantasy league this time around also I think it would be fun

You're good. Pretty much everyone who played multiple seasons is good. The only way that wouldn't the case is if they left on bad terms and a great owner stepped in their place. That probably never even happened at any point, but that would be the scenario.
 
Dang this thread is happenin' right now!! 4 posts (and counting) in one day! I'd like to keep the Panthers but if Deuce wants them, I have no problem giving them up...I could take over the Ravens. And yeah I think a fantasy football league for our CAG bunch would be fun...I'd definitely be up for that.

As far as the Falcons go, I know someone picked them up for like half a season (iTs jonboi817) but I dunno if he plans on rejoining this franchise for Madden '12, and even so...gbpackers should still definitely be entitled to the Falcons over him.
 
Hoping to at least hit .500 in '12 for sure. Looks like I'll keep the Cards, although I really need free agency to open up sooner rather then later.

^^ Looks pretty solid. Really like the minor camera changes especially on kickoff.

Hope they fixed the beast rookies in franchise. It annoys me that EA has the ESPN license yet it's nowhere to be found. They should use the guys from NFL Live and have the Monday Night games be on ESPN.

I sold my Xbox because of the summer drought but bought one yesterday with that $100 giftcard deal. Starting to get that Madden itch again. Not Madden 11 though, don't think I could take that soundtrack or the Saints lovefest anymore. :lol:
