I understand that but if I rape someone or vice versa, just don't see why that should warrant a 5 party commitee to save someone from a really bad trade, I get rules are rules and I'll leave it at that.

Because when that guy bails on the league we won't be able to fill his team. This isn't a one season league. We play nearly year round. Someone destroying a team and the leaving hurts the chances of the league staying full all year.

Believe me, I completely understand that but it takes alot of fun out of things if trades are being vetoed left and right, not a deal breaker for me but I was just kind of thinking out loud. MY biggest gripe is five people doing it, instead of just one but not a big deal...

That seems to be the only way to change them permanently. You can still change it on the pre-game screen, but you need to do it every time.

Why would one person doing it instead of six appease you? That's not a rhetorical question...I'm really curious as to why. One person having the say on whether a trade would get approved sounds pretty horrible to me...something along the lines of a dictator. "Umm...nah I don't think that trade is fair, NEXT!". The whole idea of a trade committee is so that people can discuss trades rationally and contribute different insights into it. It's not like the decision has to be unanimous...having 6 people discuss a trade instead of 1 doesn't decrease the chances of it getting approved.

And it's a little premature for you to be assuming trades will be getting vetoed left and right when we have had 1 whole trade proposed which was accepted. You have no idea how strict we're going to be with our trades. And we're never going to just outright deny a trade...most likely we're gonna be proposing that a trade be tweaked a bit if anything. I don't know why you'd just be fine with people getting raped in trades. Not everyone is knowledgeable in the world of Madden attributes, so we shouldn't have people being taken advantage of. And on the opposite end of that, we shouldn't have people getting stacked teams at their expense.
 
I clicked accept on the trade but heyward-bey is still on my team maybe it passes when we advance the week so they don't play in two games for one week.

This trade is not approved.

Now, before anyone jumps down our throat, please understand that it does not mean we're vetoing the deal outright, but just sending it back to the owners for further tweaking. In situations where we do this, we'll try to give as much reasoning as possible so that it doesn't seem arbitrary.

Our feeling was that the inclusion of the draft pick is unnecessary given that the deal already looks to benefit the playstyles and schemes of both sides. Both guys are valuable at their own positions, it seems unnecessary to balance the deal further, especially since Leach is both older than Maclin and has a higher salary.

We'll leave it up to LV and mog to decide whether or not to resubmit the deal and how to do so, but our recommendation is that the pick be removed and the trade be made straight-up.

Not sure. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't.. Was it agreed to before or after we advanced to week 4? If after, I'm confident it will process when we advance.

Do you mean the fans or the team? I'm certainly not in panic mode, but then I don't live in New England anymore so I don't really have my finger on the pulse of the fandom. It was one game, it definitely sucked but I'm not too worried yet.

Also yesterday I got screwed over, my team was put on auto-pilot so Uber could play while I was out.
The auto-pilot ended up doing my player cuts, no big deal, but it cut WR Riley Copper and TE Iwogunaiu (?), who I need. Espsecially the TE because they only left me with two.

Can I go ahead and drop the players I would have dropped, and pick those two back up?

And I assume since the trade comittee offered a second option, that doesn't have to go back under review? me and Mog agree on the Leech for Maclin so it is final?

We'll get back to you sometime today. If you want to go ahead and offer the trade in-game now (since I know you might not be home before we advance) you can go ahead. Just know that it's not yet officially approved.

I don't even know! He'll get a few snaps in a game. Does he play a full series? Crunch time? Garbage time? I really don't know, but he's fun to play with. I've never really had a running QB before and it adds a nice element to the offense.
