Madden 13 Official CAG League - On Hiatus. See you in August for Madden 25!
Edit: It also would have been one thing if it was an offensive battle and we were both driving up and down the field and needed each possession but i had scored on the first drive and a punt return.
I think this is the key for me. If the game was 42-35 or something, I could see this as a more defensible decision since there is a very realistic expectation that your opponent would score. But in a game in which your defense has allowed exactly one TD, I think this is a clear punting situation at that stage in the game. If you're worried about a return, kick it out of bounds, which you should be trying to do anyway from that point on the field.
When I played the bears he went for it on 4 and 2 he was on his 38 with the first drive in the game. Lol
That is also not okay, in fact it's worse, and if you'd pointed that out to someone they would have said so. Two wrongs don't make a right.
I was orginally going to go to the line of scrimmage. Then see if I could get a penality called. I knew that you also move your safety to plug up the hole that's why I did the play action pass.
You ran the playclock down to around 10 seconds of course I had to come down you were throwing slants and out routes the whole game. Running down the clock assured you that I couldn't make any adjustments to your formation. That was honestly the biggest load of BS about the play

GG. If you thought that was ugly, you should see my other games! I got a little pass heavy in the 2nd half. I thought I had some good looks too and I would short them or get it out just too late. Both my TDs were pretty lucky too but I conceeded some junk too. Maybe Rivers changes things around if the deal goes through.

My game with LV just had a network timeout and ended with 1 min left in the 4th!!! He was kicking my ass too!

This game I experienced the most lag I have ever had! I would throw a pass to what looked like an open receiver an his dude would come out of no where due to the lag I was experiencing. Ben threw 7 pics!

Guess we will have to try again tomorrow :whistle2:(

That was ridiculous, it was gonna be 55-10 with one minute left after that pick 6, I wanna just get it done tonight against the cpu if thats ok.

Espescially cause of that lag. Can't go through that again.
If the game was 55-10 with a minute left, a CPU game is certainly the right move since that game was obviously well in hand.
I just asked him if he can play right now, if not I'll play the cpu. Give it a minute

bv is a good player and u beat him.... u got the offense i expect to see u in the playoffs....

About the 4th down...for GPNinja, I think it was absolutely appropriate to go for it in that situation. He's essentially in no-man's land, the other teams 43 (60-yd FG attempt) or punt and risk a net 23 yard gain when he only needed 5 yards to get a first and he was down a full score at the time. I think you take your shots when you have em. Especially when you're down.

Well i hope to be there and yes bv is good no doubt about that. But i have to go through MA or get a wildcard spot

only thing stopping u from beatin ma is ur mentality that u cant beat him....take advantage that u play him twice.... every player has weaknesses..u have the best offensive weapons to win y ur trading turner is beyond me... playing madden 12 i just had troupke beating mog and while we were playing one day he told me my offense is to predictable... he knows all i do is pass... i traded for jonesdrew and just practiced running the ball... ive done much better with a balanced offense it keeps the defense confused

Another going for it on 4th down note:

In the game I played against WVMatsui I was up 24-10 with around a minute left in the 2nd.

He had the ball, 3rd and long, and I sacked him to make it 4th and 18 on around the 41 (Just out of field goal range)

4th and 18, down 14, with less than a minute left in the half! He didn't complete the pass so I was happy at the time but when I saw he was passing an alarm went off saying "He shouldn't be doing this"
Be honest, the 2nd is the tax og is making you pay in order to acquire two Patriots rookies, right?
Nope, look at the attributes and the amount of money and the years left.

I'm really psyched on it and it was me who pursued the trade. Which was like pulling teeth.

I mean, they are two patriots rookies. But they are both gonna be really good and Denard is dirt cheap for how good of a corner he is.
Nope, look at the attributes and the amount of money and the years left.

The money seems pretty even to me, we're not talking about large contracts either way.

I'll have to look at the attributes tonight, but I use the Pats offline and neither Wilson nor Denard seem that great in-game. What about their attributes makes them enough better than the guys you're giving up so that you need a 2nd to balance it out?

Well Coleman and Wilson are very similiar, but I think Wilson is better for what I want from my safetys (Zone, Spd, Man, Press), and I'll have him for 4 years.

Denard is a perfect Nickel Corner for me. 82 Man, 89 Press. And although he was a seventh round pick I think Madden took his court stuff into account and rated him like he was in college rather than how he got drafted.

B. Hughes is an ok 5th Corner at Best. But Denard will compete with Boykin and Marsh for the #3 spot.

So
-----
8 years of a starting FS (Wilson) and possible #3 corner (Denard).

for

2 years of a starting FS (Coleman) a back up CB on his last year (Hughes) plus a second rounder to make the age differential and fact that Denard and Wilson are better - makes it Even.
Is there a way I can go and do all the contract negotiations I wanna do at one time ?
